I like the large pictures of the meal and the instructions are easy to follow. If there is a problem with the quality of the food, I can report it and get a credit right away.

Delightful meal kit service

Delightful meal kit service. I’ve always received fresh, clean ingredients and they have a very wide variety of dietary considerations available for a pretty affordable price. Unlike other companies that have sent wilted vegetables, or soft ginger, I’ve always received fresh, ready to prepare produce, and superior quality meals with this kit. Pricing has recently gone up, which makes the sometimes, side lacking dinners, a bit pricey but a single bag of covered currently costs me around $80 anyway. For the convenience, quality, and assurance that I’ll cook 5 nights of the week, this is a valuable option for our family of 5.

Good quality

The food has been of great quality and the recipes have been easy to follow. I wish the price was a little bit more reasonable and some of the portion sizes seem to be a little small. Overall the experience has been good. I plan to stay with it for now.

Makes Meals a Breeze

I have been using dinnerly for several years now. It makes planning and making meals a breeze. It saves me so much time and is very convenient. For someone who doesn't like to plan and shop for meals, it is the perfect answer.

Extreme disappointment and many problems

Since we have started getting these boxes we have had issues. The first box came with the wrong recipe cards. I was hoping that would be the only problem, seeing as we can have the recipes on the app it was something we could work with. However, the last two boxes have been complete problems. In both boxes we have received wrong proteins. One of the dishes was a tray dish for the oven and came with raw ground beef instead of the ready to heat shredded beef. Multiple other recipes had the wrong meat or wrong form of meat for me to be able to complete the recipes. It has made us have to either go out of our way and spend more money to create something with the products given. We then went to cook a meal tonight and open chicken that we received for this week’s box and it was rotten. We will be canceling our subscription to these boxes seeing as it was not the efficient and tasty dinners it was supposed to be. We are extremely disappointed.

Terrible subscription service

Terrible food. Massive scam. Even if you cancel your subscription, they will still take money from your account unless you completely close it. It is very misleading and I would not recommend anyone to use this product. Terrible!

Our customers can always cancel their orders from their end after the first one, as long as this is done before the billing date. Otherwise, the box will enter the production process, meaning that our team will start ordering the items that make up your meals from the suppliers. Overall very good deal

Overall very good deal. I would prefer the chicken to not come pre-sliced since it requires more work to prepare that way. I will, however continue to get my weekly box!

Impressed with the food

Impressed with the food. We tried hello fresh and it just wasn’t for us because the recipes weren’t very impressive. Loved the convenience of a meal kit though so did some research and found dinerly. So far we have loved almost every meal.

Pros and Cons

I love that everything for the recipe is included. But I'm not loving the selections this time. all the steak recipes are now extra. Too many burger or burger type of recipes which you can do yourself.

Fractional $ Credits feel “MEH”

Receiving a fractional $ credit to my account doesn’t feel like I’ve been made whole. Ingredients are missing. The whole reason I get these kits is so I don’t have to go to the grocery store!

Dinnerly recent price increase is a killer…

I hope the recent price increase will not put Dinnerly out of business soon. I have been a long time user of Dinnerly meal kits—several years receiving boxes weekly for my family. Some of the ingredients were not always fresh, meats leaked once in a while, and there was low quality on some items like the ground turkey—however the price was competitive and affordable enough for me to make up for these things with other groceries here and there. And I liked that generally I can cook the entire meal in one pan. But earlier this year they sent a message saying they had to raise the price per meal. The email made it look like only a small increase would be coming soon, so not to worry. Well now that it’s here, it turns out to be a nearly 20% increase in the cost of the meal kit a week. My plan cost went from roughly $86/wk to $109/wk. This is NOT a small increase. This puts Dinnerly completely out of the running. There would be no reason to choose Dinnerly now at nearly $8/meal with the lack of proper packaging/shipping and closer to expiry items. This is an unwise pricing mistake by the company which would be better off doing smaller incremental increases due to their lower quality mark. No more Dinnerly. I will be looking for other options.

The quality of the "fresh" vegetables…

The quality of the "fresh" vegetables has been lacking and several things have been leaking upon arrival. If it can still be used I just work with it but when it's the protein it sucks because I then have to plan for a replacement meal - which defeats the purpose of the service.

Delicious recipes

Dinnerly has delicious recipes, sending quality ingredients at a very fair price per meal. We especially liked the Pan-roasted Pork Cutlets with Scalloped Potatoes and Carrots in our recent box. It was quite easy to make and tasted like we were dining in a nice German Restaurant!
