I bought this from Boots for £10
The box contains laminated card box, urine strip, plastic pop up wee pot with lid, an absorbent area, a colour ( not corresponding) area to put strip and a bar code.
It’s so unnecessary as you can only use it once. Talk about overkill..... books aren’t made so well but such a ridiculous waste!!!
All they needed was a Urine strip and bar code.
Wee on the strip rest on toilet paper...I assume everyone has a sheet! Wait 20 seconds, take a photo.
Surely the pharmacist can see ( you can see yourself if any of the three patches change colour.
Leukocytes Top patch
Nitrates Middle patch
Blood Bottom patch
Then you need to pay another £15 for antibiotics (mine was 6 tablets)
This kit could have been made for under 50p

The first test claimed the lighting was too low. And after many tries it told me it was too late to read. Although I could interpret myself that dark green on the bottom line means blood in urine. I tried to communicate via the help option, but waited ages and received no reply. I reordered another test, with next day delivery. Now having spent £30 for 2x. And that test also claimed low lighting, even in full sun outside! The strip now shows dark green top square and dark purple bottom square. After various tries it accepted the picture. But now the app decided to claim no service. It wasn't my phones fault. I have exceptional phone signal strength. I was finally shown a reply from my previous tests help message. And it said it could not interpret my previous result and I would now need to go to a boots store. The reason I ordered it online is because I'm housebound. The pain is really bad now. For some reason I assumed I needed this to get meds. But I've just managed to order meds from an online pharmacy. After filling in a questionnaire, without needing this. And a doctor approving a prescription med. But it won't arrive for 3 more days. I first ordered the dip uti test, over a week ago. And had bad pain for a week before that. But by bad luck it had coincided with expected bad ovulation pain. I already have severe bladder and kidney pain + feel physically sick. I hope this hasn't caused irreversible damage by waiting to order.
