I've been publishing courses on Dometrain since early 2024 and it's been a great experience. The author community is top notch and Nick has been great to work with and is constantly experimenting and adding new features.

Great content made by great authors. I’ve learned a lot from other authors and I’ve been fortunate enough to contribute a couple courses too. Nick has been great to work with and the other authors have been great to bounce ideas off of and hear their thoughts too.

I've been using Dometrain for a couple of weeks now. The user experience is great, and the content it offers is superb, ranging from development technologies, to cloud, integration, observability and software architecture, all curated by experts in their field. The courses are neatly divided by logical sections, so we can divide the learning process, and contain materials to guide us along each step, allowing us to learn while doing and applying the concepts! I highly recommend using Dometrain, be it to learn something new, or refresh our knowledge in a topic or two!

Dometrain is the single best .NET training resource out there. It is great for every level. I have my entire team using the platform and we can see a clear and considerable improvement in our ability to deliver solutions in a more maintainable and efficient way.

The courses are amazing. The instructors all know their topics (and many more) incredibly well. I find I learn as much about other topics as I do about the primary topic. I've picked up so many helpful tips along the way and I go back and watch some over just because I enjoyed the content so much. This is the training website I've been looking for for 20 years! It's great someone finally put something together specifically for C# business developers.

The content and topics covered are excellent. However, I find the pricing to be a bit of a challenge. While the rates may be reasonable for Europe or America, as someone from India, it's difficult for me to afford them without support from my employer. It would be fantastic if there were regional pricing discounts available to make it more accessible.

Dometrain is outstanding in its field, offering a fantastic collection of well-structured courses. The platform provides an impressive amount of expertly crafted knowledge from highly skilled instructors. It's truly one of the best collections of courses available, with an easy-to-navigate website that makes learning a breeze. The value you get from each course is top-notch, making it a great return on investment. Big shout out to the team and Nick Chapsas for creating such an excellent resource!

Absolutely awesome! I've enjoyed the course from the start to the end. Now i have a basic understanding of the modular monolithic architecture and i'm able to take the first steps on my own.

Their courses are carefully selected to match what I believe a (mostly .NET) developer would need. The presenters know their stuff and have a good way of explaining the intricacies of the topic, without delving into unenecessary details. Courses are to the point

One of the best platforms you can find for .NET Developers worldwide. It really boost my career. Highly recommend to take Dometrain Pro subscription if you plan to take couple of courses in one go.
I can’t even calculate the amount of hours I have spent studying via Dometrain. Started when Nick was posting his courses there when it was called just Nick Chapsas. Great that more and more recognizable people are posting their content there. Constantly checking for new arrivals.

I recently purchased two courses on Docker and Kubernetes from Dometrain, and as I write this review, I've nearly completed the main portion of the Docker course.

I wanted to highlight two aspects that stood out to me:

1. During the purchase process, I encountered a minor issue, but the Dometrain team responded quickly and courteously. Their prompt assistance was greatly appreciated.

2. I really admire the instructor's approach to teaching. They have a clear ability to explain concepts and progress through the topics effectively, which showcases their strong background and expertise in the subject matter.

We had some issues accessing our invoices, and Nick, the owner, was very patient and helpful in resolving this problem for us, he communicated consistently and promptly. Regarding the courses themselves, they are very well presented.

The courses are great but for me living in the U.S., some of the teachers have thick accents that make learn a bit of a challenge.
Also the yearly price...its the most expensive price for an individual that I've come across.
It doesn't have the breath of course for such a high price.

In the past, my previous roles have always provided a Pluralsight subscription for me. When the company decided to reevaluate this, I found Dometrain!

As far as relevant .NET content, it blows anything else out of the water. Content is perfectly curated, super relevant. It's amazing.

On several occasions, I've pulled learnings straight from here and was able to use those to solve real life problems at work.

Was interested in taking advantage of the ongoing summer sale, bought 2 courses (order #2413-3992) which on the website the cart total after the 30% discount was indicating £104.99. After confirming the payment on Apple Pay for this figure, turns out I was actually charged £125.99, which I only realised after checking my bank statement.

Your website should be transparent enough to let customers know exactly what to expect as far as the total amount they will be charged for. It's very hard for me to believe you make "best effort to show the most accurate number on our site" - if you did, this wouldn't have happened and I wouldn't have gone ahead with the purchase in the first place.

It clearly does NOT include all the relevant charges. Quoting from your email "When your billing address isn't explicitly added at checkout on Stripe's page, and it's only part of your Apple Pay checkout, Apple will take the billing address associated with that card and add VAT retroactively as a financial security measure..." - RETROSPECTIVELY being the keyword here, meaning the price showing on the website wasn't the same price being charged.

IF THE PRICE WAS CORRECT to begin with I wouldn't be here wasting my time.

The selection of courses at Dometrain for the .NET space is very well curated and covers both beginner's needs as well as deep dives into various topics. I like the idea that the courses are split between "getting started" and "deep dive".

The best courses I have seen so far. Clear and precise, with important points well explained.

For beginners and senior developers, an excellent source of information, problem-solving, and suggestions.

Truly magnificent overall experience!
