I recently moved into a NB house
I recently moved into an NB house and needed to change the dining room table and chairs to suit the house. I was very pleased with the quality of the table, chairs and bench. The flexibilty to mix and match the seating and sizing of the table was really useful. I thought that for the price point it was a good-quality choice and would not hesitate to order from this company again. I ordered one day and it arrived next - communications were very clear from this company.

Misleading photos
Online photos are misleading. The product that arrived looked nothing like the rich, warm finish shown on the site — a clear and significant mismatch, not mere “natural variation.” Domli dismissed the evidence, refused to own any gap between advert and reality, and settled on their own terms with a partial £15 refund. Cheaper than rivals, yes, but you still pay in extra time, sanding and finishing to get close to what was advertised. Case closed, lesson learned.

Hello Ivan,,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the appearance of your table and appreciate that the colour you received did not meet your expectations.
We would, however, like to clarify that the images shown on our website are intended as a guide to the product’s appearance. They are photographed under controlled studio lighting and conditions, which can affect how the colour and finish appear on screen.
In addition, oak is a natural, non-engineered material, meaning that each piece of timber is unique. Variations in colour, tone, grain and character are inherent to natural oak, and individual pieces can therefore differ from the images shown online. These variations are not indicative of a manufacturing defect.
We’re sorry that the table did not look as you had expected, and we did work with you through our customer service process to reach a resolution, including offering a £15 partial refund.
We do take feedback such as yours seriously and will continue to review how we present natural timber products online, with the aim of ensuring customers have as clear an understanding as possible of the natural variations they can expect.

Hello Rick,
Many thanks for your review. The instructions for the standard shelves are generic and are not bracket specific as they are fitted in the same manner unless it is a floating shelf.
I have created a customer support ticket via info@domli.co.uk requesting more information regarding your order so I can investigate the issue with the brackets for you.
Great worktops at a great price
