Courier marked "no one home" — I was home

I was waiting for my parcel. The courier rang the intercom, I let him in — he disappeared and marked the delivery as failed due to no one being home. The package was redirected to a pickup point without my consent. Inside was a birthday gift for my partner. Zero accountability, zero effort. Avoid.

I hade £8,000 worth of welding…

I hade £8,000 worth of welding equipment being delivered by DPD and they deleted vered it to the wrong address, they let someone who was not me sign for it and now I can't get it back, no apology no refund they just gave it all to a stranger, not happy, not happy at all

USELESS

USELESS. waited in a nd followed the app had a message I m next stop I put the dog away ready waiting then get a message at 15.17 parcel was delivered to my neighbour at 15.15 WHY????? I went straight round to my neighbour but no reply, My neighbour works nights so probably won’t get it untI tomorrow and I need to parcel today it’s a birthday present, hence next day delivery. Customer Services just say sorry and empty promises it won’t happen again. soo annoying
WHY DID HE NOT DELIVER TO MINE ????

Evitem esta empresa de correios!!
Temos uma encomenda a aguardar que seja entregue há 15 dias, nós somos a empresa destinatária, o endereço de entrega está corretíssimo, e apenas pelo facto da factura da encomenda estar em nosso nome e não no nome da empresa do entreposto para onde instruímos entrega a encomenda, não fazem a entrega, não aceitam nenhuma instrução nossa como empresa destinatária, e andamos há 15 dias a trocar emails e telefonemas, e não há solução à vista, inclusive já informamos a loja que nos fez a venda da mercadoria para nos devolver o valor pago, e levar a encomenda de volta! É lamentável a falta de profissionalismos das pessoas que trabalham nesta empresa!!

If I could give zero stars, I would.

DPD has one job — to deliver parcels. And yet they’ve failed again, despite clear delivery instructions. Their drivers lie about delivery attempts, mark parcels as “missed” when no one even knocks, and their tracking system is a work of fiction.

Customer service is a joke — all scripted apologies and absolutely no resolution. Even management is useless. I was told they’d “add a note” to my delivery — a pathetic excuse after repeated failures. No accountability. No action. Just delay after delay.

And @AmazonUK, why are you still using these clowns? Every time you do, you're telling customers their time and money don’t matter.

DPD: You’re incompetent, dishonest, and unworthy of the trust any business or customer places in you. You deserve every bit of public backlash you’re getting — and more.

Avoid them like the plague.

How do you like to wait for your package for a month and then walk half of the city to pick it up?

I ordered an item from the shop and the seller sent it with DPD.
It stacks at state "Your parcel is ready to be transported to our next premises" for a week and then suddenly the status changed to "Return to sender". DPD was not able to explain WHY it was happening. The sender immediately sends a replacement one. With DPD. After five days status changed to out for delivery. I was at home, but nothing was delivered. Now status is "Available for collection". At post office is not even close to my home.

Do you want to wait for your package for a month and then have to go through half of the city to get it? Then DPD is a great choice.

Brilliant non-delivery

I bought some nic pouches online from HAYPP and chose Saturday DPD delivery.

Parcel No. 1597 6953 373 347 5
Enfield DPD Local Depot
Driver's name Sifa

The driver comes by my house around 5pm, parks about 20m away, sits inside his van for about 5 minutes and then takes off!!
Straight away I get the "we missed you" text and checking the DPD tracking page I realise that he had uploaded a photo from the door of house no2 (he was to deliver at no8), clearly taken from inside his van.
I was watching him from my window all along waiting for him to get out of his van and come to my door.

Next day, Sunday, he does exactly the same!!
Except that the photo of the door that he uploaded (again clearly taken from inside his van), was from house no7-9, not even on the correct side of the road!!

Both times he spent more time sitting in his van outside my house than he would need to deliver.
Did he even have the package with him??

After that, the package was sent back to the seller.

Trying all ways possible to contact DPD and file a complaint, I only managed to chat with a real person on their whatsapp where I was told that the complaint has to come from the seller.

Needless to say, the local Enfield DPD depot, although I must have called a hundred times, never answered the phone (0208 135 2963).

By the way, my house and my area is as ordinary as it gets and the driver is uknown to me.

Which makes me wonder, how many more people have had to go through the same experience.

Being stood up all weekend, canceling everything just to wait for Mr. Sifa from the DPD local Enfield Depot to come by their neighborhood and rest inside his van!!!!!!!

Totally corrupt, no delivery ever attempted

The continuing con with this company (I am in France, Morlaix) is that they will make no attempt to deliver. Then online put that they did attempt a delivery and no one was home. BUT, of course, they never leave a card or visit the address. I have always been in whenever notified they are delivering and have Never Ever seen them try. Totally taking the Mickey and the money...

My story is very similar to many others…

My story is very similar to many others here, after selling an item on eBay I purchased a DPD label via Packlink which is the company eBay suggests and promotes on its platform to send parcels,
DPD lost my parcel on the 13 February and now tells that I should contact Packlink because they are responsible for my parcel even though it was a DPD postage label I used, I dropped the parcel at a DPD drop off point, the tracking comes up on the DPD website but now that the parcel is lost they pass the blame to Packlink and Packlink tells me that they are waiting for a lost item report from DPD before they can do anything.
This is a game that these 3 companies, eBay, Packlink and DPD are playing, passing the buck and hiding behind each others backs in order to avoid responsibility and giving refunds. It really amazes me how these companies are allowed to treat costumers in such a way.

I bought an item from Amazon where it has to be sent to Denmark to me, but it was sent as sent, then my package came over to dpd, when I search for my package, it says that it was delivered on February 1st, but I haven't seen the shadow for my package so I have to buy another one in a Danish store, I don't think it's okay, I won't be able to recommend you to anyone, you are a bad company

The worst delivery company in the uk

Will not follow instructions
I have no problem with all the other delivery companies following my instructions. The DPD driver will hammer loudly on my front door. It does not matter how quickly I get there but he does not wait. This morning I ran to the door but it was to no avail. He ran round the back of my house, but instead of leaving my Christmas food in the rear porch (my safe place) he left it out in the rain. Luckily I was at home today otherwise it would have been ruined. He always leaves my parcels outside despite my instructions saying that, if I am not in, they should be left INSIDE my rear porch. I have complained to DPD in the past about this but they have take no action.

Update 8th February. I am still having the same problems.

Update 18th Februrary. He is still doing it after three complaints.
