I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Duresta's customer care team and was thoroughly impressed by their level of service. Amanda from customer care was incredibly helpful in arranging the repair of my sofa for a minor issue. She was prompt, courteous, and ensured the entire process was smooth and hassle-free.
James, the technician who came to carry out the work, was equally impressive. He was not only highly skilled but also a pleasure to talk to. James took the time to explain the repair process and made sure everything was done to the highest standard.
Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I am grateful to Amanda and James for their exceptional service. Duresta should be proud to have such dedicated and customer-focused individuals on their team.

Every company has it's highs and lows, this is what happens when a product is "hand made". The biggest thing is how a company holds up when it's on a low. Duresta have been fantastic in dealing with an ongoing issue of ours, which has resulted in a very happy customer. The lovely Amanda is a true asset to the Duresta team and has made what could have been a very stressful time in to a positive 5 star review 😀

We ordered two Duresta sofas in October, I paid a 50 per cent deposit and we were promised delivery in mid January. When mid January came and went we were told the delay was due to a fabric shortage. Any normal business would offer an alternstive fabric, but we weren't given this option. Its now nearly May and there's no sign of the sofas and no communication from Duresta or the retailer.

After my poor review of Duresta, I received new back cushions and scatter cushions, which seemed to be of a much stronger fabric and keep the feathers in.

Following my review of January 2024, Duresta took action, first tried to repair, stretch the springs but finally agreed to replace the cushions with thicker and harder designs. This at long last resolved the problem 100% for the chairs for both looks and comfort. Arm rests are now working as arm rests. Sofa is also much more comfortable but the seats may need time to settle for a level look. We are grateful for the most helpful support of James, understanding shown by Steve and friendly updates from Amanda during this long journey. If it had not taken this long, support given by these individuals should have deserved five stars.

Following my review of April 2025, the hard seats of the chairs are working well, however, even though it was agreed that the back cushions would also change to hard material, this was not done and these remaining soft feather leads to them sinking and resulting in the seat cushions moving forward. Pity that an engineer like me happens to know more about ergonomics (simple physics) than the furniture designers at Duresta.

I am wanting to recover two Duresta chairs and Amanda has been extremely helpful and prompt in selecting and sending some suitable options. I am delighted with the service. I have been equally delighted with our decision to buy Duresta furniture twenty years ago.

The quality of the furniture is exceptional, we are very pleased with our purchase. The only negative was that when we registered the items it would only let us register the sofa and not the matching chair and foot stool. Thankyou.

Recently bought a Duresta Amelia. Very dissapointed with the comfort.Backside sitting cushions keep slipping and moving and the back cushions are very uncomfortable, constantly sagging and need to either be switched around or puffed up. We had many sofas over the year and this very expensive sofa is overpriced and not up to a standard of any kind of comfort or design that allows you to settle into a relaxing position without having to make adjustments to the sitting and back cushions. It appears this design is old and not very ergonomic to today's standards.

Great looking suite. Quality of materials seems excellent along with build quality. Comfortable and seems to be of good enough quality to keep its shape and durability.Time will tell if it retains its looks and comfort but so far I can only say 5 stars.

Bought two lovely Duresta sofas with feather filled back and seat cushions. I have just been doing the weekly vacuuming and as usual there are lots of feathers on the floor. We noticed the problem soon after they were delivered. We contacted the furniture store who told us to contact the furniture ombudsman. They took on our case, but as we had no written evidence that we had complained to the furniture store, they told us there was nothing they could do. So now we have feathers leaking from both sofas every day. We are both 71 and thought that these would be the best and last sofas we would buy. They are now looking extremely floppy and we have given up plumping them as we are then showered with feathers. SO DISAPPOINTED.
Very helpful response from Duresta. We now have four new back cushions for our sofas. The lining seems to be a stronger fabric and so far we are only finding feathers on the scatter cushions. Such a relief!
