Mo Helou, your Audiology technician was very through with diagnosing my hearing issues, he has a wonderful professional manner and explained very clearly my hearing problem and was able to advise me what I needed to do to help me hear better.

Dr Mo Helou and his practice manager Tiana have been incredible to deal with from the very beginning till when I got my hearing aids.

Dr Mo is extremely knowledgeable and very professional. He has taken the time to explain everything to me in detail
He is compassionate and understanding.

Prior to seeing Dr Mo I was anxious and reluctant about getting my hearing aids .
He allowed me to “test” it out and amended the settings where needed.
I now wear them everyday with ease, and being able to hear properly has been a game changer.

My experience with the audiologist was outstanding. He created a calm and welcoming atmosphere right from the start. He was genuinely attentive and understanding to my concerns. The consultation was thorough and informative, with each hearing aid option explained in a clear way without any pressure to buy the more expensive ones. Merrylands team

It took the team in merrylands less the two weeks to test and supply me with my hearing aids. They took their time in helping and teaching me how to use the device, I really appreciate your help and support. Comfortable and Supported

This was a great experience, right from the first appointment I was made feel comfortable with my hearing and vestibular system issues. I have been supported through the whole process, and that support has continued a long time post receiving my hearing aids, which have made an incredible improvement to my everyday life.

The team at Eardoc deserve more than 5 Stars. The care and warm attention of the home visit for my 95 year old mum when Mohammed came was incredible.

Absolute great experience and results! I can hear again !!

Absolute great experience! Seriously has changed my life ! Such a nice bunch of people and very professional! Explained the reason behind my hearing loss ! And the reason as to why I have tinnitus! Best of all they found a solution to both problems! I am hearing sounds I haven’t heard before! Not only do you owe it to yourself to have your hearing problems looked into . You also owe it to your family and friends that go through your loss as well ! I found my self getting irritable and shouting in conversations , I needed help and that was only a phone call away ! ATM I am trialling hearing aids that are completely hidden unless you stand 6 inches from me ! Now im looking forward to the future!!

Mo and his team have been amazing from the first time I had a consultation last year! The new hearing aids he recommended and the moulds have dramatically improved my hearing. The service and assistance I receive regularly and when needed is amazing. They always go above and beyond to get the best outcome for clients. My first hearing aids.

The whole process from enquiry to receiving my first ever hearing aids was flawless. Mo has contacted me quite a few times to ensure the aids we’re set up to my needs and that the whole experience was seamless. The aids work as hoped with me now hearing annoying washing machine beeps and light switch presses that were previously silent. Thanks so much Mo for your professional and friendly manner and for giving me my hearing back.

I can't recommend highly enough

I almost gave up on finding a decent hearing solution. My apple AirPods Pro 2s were doing a decent job, but they were uncomfortable after a couple of hours and the battery was severely limiting. I decided to go to an audiologist recommended by my GP, got a thorough test and then faced a price tag that made my eyes water. I went down the research rabbit hole and it felt like a minefield — paid reviews, zero pricing transparency and the same tech my AirPods have, but at 20 times the price. On top of that, all the places I enquired with wanted me in their office several times just to get the hearing aids ordered. As someone juggling life, that's just another barrier. And totally unnecessary.

EarDoc was completely different from the first interaction. Upfront about what they offer, what the limitations are and how the whole process works. No surprises. No runaround.

The whole process was simple, done from home and Mo was genuinely fantastic — knowledgeable, friendly, and you can really tell he actually cares about helping people. I have been telling everyone I know about him.

In the end I have a top of the line set of hearings aids at close to half the price of a traditional hearing specialist. And someone I trust completely to help me if I ever need it. I can't recommend highly enough.

What you described is unfortunately the standard journey in Australia. You notice you're missing things, you try a workaround like AirPods Pro, it works for a bit but the comfort and battery let you down, then you go down the audiologist route only to be hit with a quote that genuinely makes your eyes water. From there most people fall into the research rabbit hole, comparing hearing aid brands like Phonak, Oticon, Starkey, Signia, ReSound and Beltone, trying to figure out the difference between premium and budget, rechargeable and disposable, in the ear and behind the ear. It's overwhelming, and it shouldn't be.

Competitive pricing on premium hearing aids is something we fought hard to make happen, because for too long Australians have been stuck paying clinic markups that simply don't reflect the actual cost of the technology. You're right that getting the most out of hearing aids is the part most people underestimate. Fitting them is only the beginning. The real work is in the follow ups, the fine tuning, helping you adapt to different environments, and making sure the technology is actually being used to its full potential. A hearing aid sitting at default settings is doing maybe 40 percent of what it's capable of, so we put a lot of energy into making sure our patients get 100 percent.

Excellent service

Excellent service. Best and comprehensive Hearing Test. They really listened to my needs and provided Hearing Aides that fitted my needs perfectly. Great Hearing Care and Support

I had such a great experience with EarDoc from start to finish. The whole process was incredibly easy and convenient, everything was done from home, which made it so much less stressful compared to having to go into a clinic and waiting. I loved that I could speak with a qualified audiologist via telehealth and have my hearing aids delivered quickly, then adjusted remotely to suit me perfectly.

Best Hearing Aids and Service

Having had a few other supposed reputable brands and companies, everyone drives past their branches everyday, Ear Doc stands head and shoulders above the supposed best brands. Out of frustration I tried Ear Doc and only wish I hadn't wasted $7800 on the other brands and several hundred dollars on other cheaper advertised brands. Mo and his team were terrific, regular calls to set the aids up to suit me personally, nothing was too difficult, genuine assistance even after I stated i was reticent to go through all of the testing, checks and balances, i had concerns about no actual site visit for tests, fitting etc, these are the absolute best hearing aids I have ever had. This is not a made up review, I am happy to be contacted direct if you like, dont waste you time, effort or money with the other well known companies, Mo and his team are there to genuinely help with hearing loss. Go with Mo and his team, you will not be disappointed.

Setting up a TVlink

MyTV link for my hearing aids is now working well but I had to change the device to an earlier model and get my tech-savy sons to set it up. Eardoc very helpful but you need more info on how to use your phone in the set up process and which model of the TV link suits which model hearing aid.
