East Coast Mobility Avis 

This review is a warning to any vulnerable/older person thinking of using this company to think twice and if you do use them to buy via online to cover yourself. My father inlaw purchased a mobility scooter for £4744.85 from this company, sadly he passed away a couple of days after it was delivered to him and he did not get around to even using it. When my husband called the company to ask if they would refund as it had not been used, he was told inline with purchasing regulations as it was purchased from the shop they would not refund (not even an offer at a reduced price) but if he had brought it online they would have refunded. Given the circumstances you would like to think a buisiness would have some compassion, especially as my father inlaw paid top price for the scooter. East Coast Mobility I am sure you can do better in terms of improved customer service.

My Mother died, and I called East coast mobility to see if they were interested in buying the scooter Mother had bought from them 18 months previously.....they offered a maximum of £100. I thought car depreciation was bad but £100 after paying £1200 18 months ago? Crikey. Hey ho, sold it elsewhere for £650.

My word,I don’t really know where to begin!
The beginning of last year I went to look at the Invader Extreme at East Coast Mobility and thought it was GREAT but at that time couldn’t afford it.There was no hard sell nor anything like that.Grant gave me a brochure and I went on my way.Two weeks ago having the funds in my bank I went to see Grant again and he recognised me which I thought was very good.Grant showed me around the beast (Invader) and gave me all the time I needed.He told me the price and the deal was struck.Grant handed me over to Kelly his colleague who was pleasance personified and she kindly sorted the insurance out at a good price.Kelly also sorted the registration details.The deal was done and I was told delivery was two weeks as I wanted a couple of modifications done.Within three days I received a phone call where we arranged the delivery.Craig turned up and rolled the Invader out the back of his van and ran me through the controls.He like Grant and Kelly gave me plenty of time to grasp what he was saying.We shook hands and I was left with the beast (Invader.) I’ve had it two full weeks now and believe you me put it through it’s paces on and off road.To say I’m delighted with the scooter (if you can call it that?) would be an understatement! As dell boy would say,PERFIC! From start to finish the Company staff were brilliant and the product the same.What sealed it for me was when my wife and I were leaving no handshake but a hug from Grant.I knew then I was with the right company.If I could give it more stars then I would.Thank you Grant,Kelly and Craig as it’s very much appreciated! Had a problem with my husband’s scooter whilst on holiday locally so I rang them, the lady apologised they couldn’t send anyone out today but offered to check it when we got to them, which they did. All the staff we dealt with were extremely helpful & service was brilliant & we were back on the road within half an hour. Highly recommend this company, just sorry we’re not local so can’t use them any further!

Had an annoying rattle on a scooter bought from them some years ago.A technician at no charge rectified the problem with no fuss despite some problems in friendly courteous way.

Top mechanic Dave delivered my new Cabin Car right to my front door, fantastic guy! Very knowledgeable. Previous to this my visit to the shop was a very nice friendly experience. All the team were so helpful and I was offered a great deal . Anyone who has mobility needs should go to experience possibly the best service you can get anywhere

I cannot thank the very helpful staff at east coast mobility. Have being unable to walk very far and my scooter having a puncture. Our holiday camp and us tried every where to get this fixed. We had given up hope and my holiday ruined. Thes kind people could not have been more helpful, the got it sorted for me in 20 mins. Very friendly and professional staff. I noticed a lot of choice in the area of disability needs and would recco.end anyo e give them a try.

Absolute product knowledge and understanding of individual needs. They steered me away from making and unfortunate error in my choice of product and guided me to a much more suitable product. Friendly reception and light hearted banter in an unpressured environment, all this with a cup of tea and biscuits thrown in. What's not to like? I thoroughly advise you to visit this showroom.

When my mother in laws old stairlift packed up we desperately needed to replace it. David turned up within half an hour and managed to get it going again.We ordered a new one and three days later the old one was out and a new one installed.David,I have to say you went above and beyond and your workmanship was first class.Well done to you and your team.

Exceptional service, I can’t recommend these people highly enough.
My wife and I were looking to replace our heavy auto fold mobility scooters. We visited them 3 times over a week to decide which scooters were best for us.
On every visit they were very friendly and informative. They understood we were on a budget and due to our disabilities we struggle to lift our scooters into our car. They recommended a couple of scooters which would be best suited for our needs. We chose a make and model with their guidance and we got an amazing deal for two new scooters and a generous trade in for my big Daytona XLR scooter which we were very happy with.
I can not thank Grant and his team enough for all their help and friendly service throughout.
They provide lovely biscuits too🤣.
If anyone is looking for a new mobility scooter you can’t go wrong with them.

Made the delivery of the Tandem mobility scooter on time and allowed me to test drive it with my invalid wife on the back seat to determine it was suitable.
Gave us a very competitive price.
Promptly dispatched seat belts which had not been fitted without additional charges, when I noticed they were not with the scooter on delivery, minutes after the delivery driver/engineer had departed.

Such a great team good banter always up for laugh and a joke very supportive when I had an accident with my scooter lent me one until my one is fix couldn't ask for better people

Great service at this place, I’ve had repairs done there before and they were good quick and careful… so I bought a new scooter from them and it’s wonderful. Bought a rascal pioneer and it can go pretty much anywhere. Really happy

Our grandad came in to get wingmirrors fitted on his scooter.
The person working kindly fitted them for free! What a kind person. Throughly reccomend if you want to spend your money in a shop who actually cares about people! Wonderful and refreshing

What a fantastic company you run in Lowestoft all the staff go out there way in phone calls to meeting and serving everyone great service and prompt no messing about to day I collected my wheelchair and was in and out with item in less than 10mins Ty al so very much has made my day can’t Ty enough but ThankYou mark p

I first saw them on line when I goggled a search, we went for a ride out with the intention of just looking to upgrade my scooter, we went to east coast mobility and were made to feel at home from the start being served coffee/ tea. I found the second hand scooter I was looking for on their forecourt the whole shopping experience was first class. I received my scooter delivered to my door by again a very curious young man who shew me all I needed to know about the scooter. The scooter was in show room condition and fully serviced by their workshop team. I would highly recommend east coast mobility to anyone looking for mobility aids many thanx to you all Phil Green
