Avoid

Booked and paid for a skip that did not appear. Waiting around all day like a plum.Front garden full of waste ready to go. Phones weren't answered.E mail was. They were unable to get a licence.At what point were they going to tell me? A day wasted and my neighbours parking space blocked.They have promised a refund.
Will use a local skip company in future.Avoid.

Easy to book online

Easy to book online, although a bit expensive. Dropped and picked up the skip on days its been booked.

We used Easyskip for a house clearance, we requested drop off on a Friday and collecting on the Monday as we only needed it for the weekend. All was great dropped and collected as requested. We recommend Easyskip.

Very friendly and competent on phone

Very friendly and competent on phone, the guy who brought the skip was also very nice, he even offered to help me put my rubbish in it. I asked for very quick removal and they said no problem, I'm still waiting!
I'm worried because there is no one answering phone and answer machine full.
Ambulances come to bungalows across the road and school collections , need my car on my drive where the skip is sitting.

Long delay on collection - go direct!

Skip arrived on time. Delivery agent friendly and careful dropping it off on the drive. We had a small room to rip out and were done within a week so asked for it to be collected. Following numerous chases with barely any response it has finally been picked up, 4 weeks later. Poor, inaccurate communication which was frustrating.

Booked a 4-yard skip for garden waste…

Booked a 4-yard skip for garden waste and old fence panels. EasySkip delivered to my drive in Reading – driver was careful, didn't crush my flower border.

I nearly made a mistake: I had an old carpet from the spare room rolled up ready to go in. Driver spotted it and said no – POPs regulations mean carpets with foam backing can't go in a mixed skip. He wasn't being awkward; it's the law.

They gave me a leaflet with a list of what's banned. Fair enough. I took the carpet to the tip myself.

Skip collected on day 6 (I paid for 7 days, they came early – no problem). Total was £199.

If you read their rules first, you'll be fine. If you don't, don't leave a 1-star review because you didn't listen.

Collection a Joke

Where do I start! Ordered a skip for delivery on the 7th April collected on the 11th April payment all went through but got no confirmation email so I rang them and they could deliver on the 8th (not great as digger arrived on the 7th) finished with skip on the 9th rang them to collect if possible before the 11th(scheduled collection) no collection early and no collection on the scheduled date. Emailed and rang to have a moan on 13th and said they would contact the contractor. Got message on 14th saying collection 15th now 17th and skip still not collected. Think long and hard before using Eazyskips!!!!!

A couple of points worth noting for anyone else reading: our booking confirmations are sent automatically the moment an order is placed, so if one doesn't arrive it's always worth checking spam or junk. And during peak periods, collections can occasionally run a few days beyond the scheduled date due to licensed carrier capacity across the UK — though in your case we should have communicated that proactively rather than leaving you to chase.

Appalling company. Booked skip for drop off on a specific day, never arrived, no phone number, no contact info, no response to emails. Arrives on a random day - we'd paid for next day collection as it was taking up our whole driveway and they didn't collect for 3 weeks. Again a nightmare trying to get in touch. Offered us £10 off next order as compensation. Terrible company, do not hire, they just outsource anyway so find local.

You're right that we fell short on this one. A delivery arriving on the wrong day and a collection taking three weeks, particularly when the skip was blocking your driveway, is not the standard we hold ourselves to. The £10 gesture offered at the time clearly didn't reflect the scale of the disruption, and we'd like to revisit that properly.

A couple of points for anyone else reading: our email address is listed in the footer of every page on easyskip.uk and our phone number is included in every booking confirmation sent at the point of order. It sounds like communication broke down somewhere in your case and we want to understand why, so it doesn't happen to another customer.

Absolutely appalled with service

Absolutely appalled with service. Was advised the day before Skip was due to be delivered that the local authority had rejected the off-road permit. Unable to give a refund without the cancellation fee and permit fee deducted, even though they won't be able to provide the service I had requested. I understand the permit fee not being able to be refunded as this was already paid to the local authority. However, I didn't agree with them not being able to provide a full refund as they couldn't provide the service. They offered a 30 minute skip collection to which I agreed as they couldn't give full refund, but then we're unable to provide this on the day I required it even though I previously booked for these days. It took several phone calls and eventually my builder spoke to them. It was only then that they agreed to provide a full refund less the permit fee. However, they still haven't provided a full refund and still charged more than the permit fee. I would not recommend them to anyone and I will not be using them again.

You're right that when we can't deliver the service, how we handle the refund and the alternative arrangements is what matters most — and on both counts we fell short. Offering a 30-minute collection slot and then not being able to provide it, the multiple calls you had to make to resolve it, and the way the refund has been handled is not acceptable, and we want to put it right.

On the permit itself: when a skip requires an off-road permit, we apply on your behalf to the local authority, and the decision to grant or reject sits with them. The permit fee is paid directly to the council at the point of application, which is why it can't be recovered once a decision is made — though we appreciate that doesn't change how disappointing the outcome was for your project.

On the refund: this has been processed on our side and should reach your account within standard bank processing times, typically 3-5 working days from the point of issue. If it hasn't landed by the end of this week, please email us at info@easyskip.uk with your order reference and we'll investigate directly with our payment provider.

Shocking, awful experience

Booked for it to be delivered on Thursday before the Easter bank holiday so we'd have the full weekend to get started. Didn't show, nobody contacted. The phone number is an AI that doesn't patch you through. Then told on Monday the depot had a broken down vehicle. It might come Tuesday. No show. Wednesday, no show.

Wednesday I emailed to cancel, absolute waste of time.

You're right to be frustrated and the review is fair. Your delivery was caught in a depot vehicle breakdown heading into the Easter weekend, and our communication while we tried to recover it wasn't good enough — three missed days on a bank-holiday booking isn't a minor scheduling issue, it's a ruined long weekend.

Your order was cancelled and refunded in full the same day you asked. Since then we've made two changes: one, we now hold back-up supplier capacity across bank-holiday weekends so a single depot breakdown can't derail a delivery; and two, it's now easier to patch through to our customer service team directly over the phone.

We're sorry we got it so wrong on this one.

If possible I would score ZERO. Ordered and paid for skip . Delivery date arrives and NO SHOW !!! After several calls to the company and them promising to sort it straight away after 5hrs still no show . Avoid this company at all costs !!!!!!!!!!!

Scam skip company

THEY CHARGED ME TWICE FOR A SKIP, with deceptive language on there e-mails. Money is locked out of my account.

Paid for a skip on Saturday for Monday delivery. Monday - no skip, phoned up 10am, was told they are looking into it and will get back to me.

Tuesday10am. No skip. Phoned up, was told they are looking into it and will get back to me.

Tuesday 3pm. No skip. Phoned up, there is no-one picking up the phone I was on hold for 1 hour.

Hi Ben,

Thank you for taking the time to write this up, and we're sorry. A duplicate charge, no delivery on the day you booked, and unanswered calls during business hours — none of those on their own would be acceptable, let alone all three together.

The order was cancelled and refunded in full once we were able to speak. We've since reviewed the payment wording on our booking confirmations, which didn't clearly distinguish between the pre-authorisation hold and the final charge, and we've looked at the phone-handling gap that left you on hold. Both needed fixing and neither should have affected a customer in the first place.

The full refund has been processed and the order closed. Thank you for sticking with it long enough to tell us — it's exactly the kind of feedback that prompted the fixes above.
