Extremely positive

Extremely positive. Website easy to use. Gown/hat correct on the day. Getting them was a very swift, easy process. The staff were extremely friendly and even excited for each person collecting their down. Very impressed

4th time of using and received the…

4th time of using and received the worst graduation photograph ever, daughter is bright orange, looks a lot larger than her size 8 frame which could have body dysmorphic implications, cap at a very weird angle should be flat, hair is on face photographer should have asked for it to be checked and moved, colour of hair is totally wrong , angle used is appalling for a photograph and yes we have complained to Connor at the company but feel that our complaints are not being taken seriously and are being stonewalled in our requests. Photographer did not ask for photo to be reviewed before daughter left. Very disappointed and upset by the photograph received, quality and professionalism of the photographer. My own iPhone photographs are much better than the professional ones that we paid a lot of money for. Customer service has been poor too.

Excellent support!

Today I spoke with Mia from Ede & Ravenscroft, and I can’t thank her enough. She helped restore my digital graduation photos and was incredibly sweet, kind, and patient throughout the entire process, even with my multiple calls. She truly went above and beyond to make sure I received my photos. Excellent service!

Delivery error and dismissive customer service

I had a very poor experience with Ede & Ravenscroft when ordering my graduation photographs.

Despite providing the correct delivery address at the time of order (clearly shown in their own shipping confirmation), my parcel was dispatched to the wrong address. Royal Mail confirmed delivery with photographic proof, which showed a different house number. I checked with neighbouring properties and the parcel was not received.

I contacted the company immediately, as personal photographs had effectively been delivered to a third party. After two weeks with no response to my initial email, I was later told the issue was Royal Mail’s fault. This was incorrect. I subsequently recovered the parcel by chance and confirmed the error was due to the address being entered incorrectly by them at dispatch.

When I raised this and asked for an explanation or accountability, the responses were dismissive and failed to properly acknowledge the mistake or the inconvenience caused. I should not have had to spend two weeks tracking down my own parcel due to an internal error.

Overall, poor communication, lack of accountability, and an unacceptable handling of personal data. This experience unfortunately turned what should have been a positive and momentous occasion; receiving my PhD graduation photographs to share with family, into a stressful and negative one.

In addition, the photography experience itself felt rushed and impersonal. Posing was awkward, limited guidance was given, and there was little opportunity to take time or make adjustments. Overall, the service felt like a production line rather than a professional photography session.

Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend using a local photographer where more time, care, and attention can be given, and where communication and accountability are better handled.

Rushed photography and photos not sent

I pre-booked my graduation photography for my graduation in October. Despite arriving at the time I was supposed to, I was still in queue for photography 10mins before my ceremony. The photographer commented that this was not enough time to take the photos. I asked if I could come back after the ceremony (there were still people behind us in the queue who I assumed would also come back) and was told no.

I received multiple ‘proof’ images and it was clear that the photographer rushed. Of 8-10 proofs, only one had the whole family looking at the camera. The rest had eyes closed or looking to one side. Not the photographers fault that people blink, but if they hadn’t been rushing they surely would have taken more pictures? Families around ours seemed to be having a a much better experience with the photographer checking their photos and retaking them.

Despite begrudgingly confirming which of the proofs I wanted within the timeframe and delivery being promised within 6 weeks, I still have no pictures. I have contacted customer services several times and have received no response past the automated ‘we are very busy’ response.

Really not impressed considering the price of the service.

The service is overpriced.

The service is overpriced.
After paying £15 for delivery, I am still waiting for the pictures to be delivered after more than a month.
The website does not allow you to check the details of the order and would not deliver the digital copy of the pictures but on a memory stick, for which they obviously charge extra money. I regret having used their service.

I would not reccommend this company at…

I would not reccommend this company at all. I have had my graduation twice at the same university and they used the same company. My experience was disappointing. The photographers rushed my pictures and wouldn't even let me my photos when asked. I am not happy with my pictures at all but still had to pay for them. The prices are unreasonable and I tried to contact them previously but issues was never rectified and the same issue has happened. I would highly not reccommend. They clearly don't know what they are doing and I have been to other graduations and the photography companies there have been excellent. This company is just a scam!

Poor packing and shoddy printing

Just received our daughter graduation photos neatly a month after being taken.

We were promised delivery within a week

The 3 photos were poorly packed. 2 smaller copies were not framed and were bent (frames were included but seems they couldn’t be bothered to insert the photos)
There was no separation material so thr largest photo (ironically framed) was scratched it also has a fingerprint under the final finish.. I guess it was a Friday afternoon job for a trainee in the development area and quality control were off sick that day?

Extremely disappointed with the quality…

Extremely disappointed with the quality of my graduation photo.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my graduation photo experience was far below professional standards. The photo I received had no basic editing at all — no crop, no colour fix, no resizing, no enhancement. It genuinely looked like a raw phone snapshot.

When I raised it with customer service, they said anything beyond this “standard editing” would cost an extra £20–£30, even for something as simple as colour adjustment or resizing.

Graduation is a once-in-a-lifetime moment, and this service simply didn’t deliver.

I strongly recommend checking alternatives before booking.

If you ever thinking to get graduate…

If you ever thinking to get graduate photo from there service just forget they will scam you, first eagerly they will tell you to pay for the initial payment and they mot explain it to you what happens next all they want is to book you in to photos £20 for that and next how they get more money from when you go to take photos they will take few photos for their props like everyone else does they not personalised the pose regarding your appearance like I’m a big guy but they took photos in the same angle when photos comes up you know it look terrible and you will get more nice pictures from your mobile phone but when you call them to tell they are not good and you want refund they will tell you to pay more for the edits and for the packages and they cannot refund amount the only thing they can do is to suggest you to edit the photos which you have to pay for the as well and for the photo package you gonna use, they will rip off money the only cheapest thing you can do is to forget that £20 rather than spending more money to photos which I don’t like or I cannot have use it for, the customer care will answer bit not useful they will tell it’s your fault that you look terrible, what I did was i make my mind that I have some money to home less person.
