one piece pacing like fr I do 12 hours a day and i'm still behind

Absolute abysmal dogshit with an extremelt stricy grading system that ofthen times make no sense as some passing grades are noe not passing its extreme amount of tedious busy work that with my time with it is stuff i know how go do just i didnt get to do it wrll first time around cant skip any lessons when they are super obvious it kills wanting to learn and causes resenment towards learning at all if all its gonna do is busy work that dosent teach you anything

Edgenuity is so slow, they probably barely are holding up. And it isn't my device. I'm on Arch Linux at home, and it is slow there, even when I have milliseconds of ping according to my beautiful Ping command. On top of that, it is super super long, it probably takes 100+ hours to get through 1 year long class. Now on top of that, we have labs and projects and essays, and now our time has been pushed to 200+. Now, do that for 3 classes that length. 600+ hours. More time than we have in a semester.

As someone who is pretty good but not exactly a 4.0 student, it's absolutely insane.
-The videos are unskippable, however you can skip them in about the last 5 seconds.
-It constantly breaks. Sometimes it lags while you click an answer so you fail BOTH attempts, or doesn't show the video.
-Sometimes your grades go UP after doing WORSE on a retake.
-You get locked out and a quiz gets automatically submitted if you leave it.
-On english quizzes, you have to keep asking for retakes until you get at least 70%.

It sucks.

I hate how boring lessons are and there not fun like too learn in general it’s incredibly easy to cheat like if i told you how many ppl just use google lens in summer school you wouldn’t believe me if they fix the learning part not being incredibly boring then i wouldn't mind using edgenuity.

The worst thing ever. I'm a senior and I'm having to use it to make up an credit I need to graduate. The videos are so long and so boring. Half the time it's way too easy or way too hard. I've made up an english credit, a health credit, and a science credit, as well as currently making up a math credit. The previous three were so easy to do, and the math is taking forever. It's taking me an entire school year to finish this math class! Do not recommend!!!!

Incredibly boring with terrible pacing. The teachers in the videos aren't too bad and they do know what they're talking about, but the pacing set is so incredibly exhausting how boring it actually is. The problem is less with the teachers in the videos, but inherently just how the system of the site is laid out. You get too busy with other stuff for one day and then you lose focus, bam 4 or 5 terribly paced assignments dragging your grade into the mud. I already hate the idea of online school and this exacerbates every issue I have with it. Plus the TTS. If I have questions right, I don't need to have it shoved down my throat when I already understand the question at hand enough to answer correctly, TTS after answering question goes off for at least 30 seconds when talking abt something that can be explained in 5. I have to do these classes to make up a science credit and because of how horrifically authoritarian the site map is set up against students, I've been stressing this semester just to even get ahead. Terrible app. If they fix it and actually start caring about the students who use it + don't have terrible pacing that makes them feel stupid, then maybe one day it'll get more than 1 star. Maybe 2.

Instructions for Algebra is difficult to understand. The videos don't allow full screen, and the sound quality is trash.

Super outdated. Also boring as boring can be. Questions often don't align with what I have learned causing my grade to to decline

Edge is terrible, the homework is boring and doesn't teach you sufficiently, the videos don't teach you anything and the question ask you stuff that you don't know.

Edgenuity has one of the worst ways to feed you information and most assignments. The information is outdated by two or more years. The information you have to read barely gives you the answer to the questions they ask making you have to look deep and take the writing in odd ways just to think that the answer is correct in my experience the quizzes and test had questions about topics. I didn’t even learn about the curriculum is long repetitive and stressful, throwing in random and long projects and one of my classes and wanted me to pick a topic to research about from one of the options given then create an entire blog on one of the websites they listed about the topic and then make an entire essay over the block. Obviously I was stumped and had to have my English teacher help me and even she was confused. It got so bad. I had to email my online teacher and ask if he’d remove me from doing it because of how long it truly was even even my online teacher thought it wasn’t worth doing and the entire thing was only worth 15 points of my grade. Also having to do one of these classes after already taken nine classes at school is really draining and I’m sure I know you don’t need to take an online class but some people I know need to take five because they’re on credit recovery so adding that to their already seven hour school day with the nine or so classes and Edgenuity’s bad programs make the system even worse consider considering that this website is even used is beyond me, and I very much believe that school systems can find a better online program where you actually can learn without having such a tedious program like Edgenuity. So many of my fellow students that I talked to have given so much negative review of this website considering that so many people choose to take online classes for either credit recovery or honors just to be disappointed about this website is crazy. Schools please find a better program for your students to use.

Yes, edgenuity is as bad as everyone says. The only reason why i gave it a star at all is because how easy it is. They ask you stupid questions like “which of these images portrays happiness?” and there’s 2 pictures of someone smiling and one of someone frowning. I’m a 9th grade student. Edgenuity is always glitching, and no it’s not my internet or device because i’ve used it on just about every device and using different wifi’s. Sometimes it’ll glitch and mark the whole instruction that i just watched as unfinished so it’ll make me redo it, because no you can’t skip forward or skip over anything you already know. you can’t even speed it up. I don’t know how they do it but they manage to make every lesson feel like the color gray. it’s boring and soulless and what takes me an hour to complete on this website can take me 5 minutes to learn on youtube. They also give you loads of videos to watch and assignments to do and give you 2 days to complete a project. And i cant forget to mention that if you miss just one or two days your gonna be stuck behind trying to catch up on the weekends. The volume is never consistent either. For the instruction videos i have to turn up the volume max just to barely be able to hear it, however during the voice overs on the assignment it’s suddenly loud? my goodness get a microphone. don’t use this.

Bro I am a regular IMT2 student and for the first semester it was terrible. Then, when I get 100% on the exam, I think I'm in the clear. But don't be fooled. Edgenuity will come back for more. DO NOT make make mistake I made!!!!!! Good Luck but you're gonna die eventually

Perfect for learning all I have to do is not for sure at all do nothing at all and sit on the ciomputer for an entire 1.5 hours of my life sitting doing nothing. I would give a 1 star but I just want to give a change unlike what u do in every single video

I feel like I would have to sacrifice my firstborn child to get DECENT grades on Edgenuity. I have been a 4.0 student my entire life, taking multiple high school classes early in junior high. I maintained everything above a 95, and did great. Now that I have to do Edgenuity I am going through horrible grading, outdated and incorrect information, and a genuinely horrible curriculum. This is the worst website ever. I would rather watch the entirety of One Piece five times over than do another class on this horrible platform. "I now know that I fear the word Edge."

This site is awful and a complete waste of its users time. It pushes for unnecessary work instead of properly educating like it advertises itself to do. From being way too overly challenging, time consuming, and reading out almost every single thing on the page before and after you've answered a question, finally it allows you to move on to the next question. Insanely frustrating when all I'm trying to do is get my work done but the site throws in a bunch of extra stuff. PLEASE, to any school administrators thinking about switching to this program, don't.

I’ve been enrolled in Edgenuity for nearly 5 years, so I know firsthand how it all works. Edgenuity is the killer of child souls. I’ve never felt worse about my self worth in my life due to the extremely unrealistic amount of work and the outdated instructional videos. It’s an understatement to say that I’m dissatisfied with this program. Edgenuity has ruined my appreciation for learning and education. I advise you to not even consider Edgenuity as an option if you care about you or your child’s future.

This is probably the worst educational platform I've ever used. Most of the assignments given to you consist of having to watch extremely long, boring videos of some "teacher" jibber-jabbering and then after the video you have to answer questions which won't be easy because of it being impossible for pretty much anyone to retain the information given from the videos because of how boring they are. I literally looked up most of the questions and if you have to do that, you know it's bad. You are given multiple assignments each day which probably would take a week to finish, but it expects you to do it in a day, every day. Or else, you'll fall behind. And that's just one course. This website is absolutely sadistic towards students, especially for people who have ADHD like me. If you are a teacher who's reading this, for the love of God, DON'T use edgenuity.

A waste of time!!! I used to LOVE Spanish and Math, and now I HATE IT. I took notes on EVERY FRIGGIN WORD ON THE SLIDES and NO ONE ELSE DID. Everyone else CHEATED and I got a B.
