Onward and green
Mostly, all good. From the initial enquiry, the kit was installed in 3 weeks and the only issue was with the inverter. It was faulty so it took 4 weeks to replace though EH did keep me informed and I will use them for extra kit and technical support.

Until the inverter stopped working last Friday. No weekend contact. Thanks to Jesse the situation has been positively resolved.

Seems like a very good company
Like many other people I have been interested in battery storage for several years. Ashley Grey called on a regular routine solar panel check and demonstrated very clearly the effectiveness of modern storage now that prices have risen so dramatically and modern battery technology is much improved.
A short time to sort out our thoughts and we called Ashley back again and then went ahead with the deal.
The work was carried out very efficiently (no pun intended) and quickly by two extremely courteous and polite fitters - Zak and mate.
Liam in the office was exactly the same giving the impression that nothing was too much trouble for him.
All very good for the company's image ... am just awaiting the results!

Great upgrade to existing system
Having looked at a battery system for my existing array, I was already sold on the idea. Liam and his team came up with a very competitive quote, a very quick installation date and finally installation. The installation was done quickly and without issues, well not from my side of things. The app was installed on tablet and phone and I have now had it up and running for just over a month. This period showed a reduction in over 30Kwh of electric use and up to 12 hours per day of solar and battery power coverage which for January was good. I am very happy with the product and performance, the only thing I would have liked was for the app to interrogate existing solar system and be included in the overall app system. Not a major issue. Thanks guys

The workmanship appears to be of high quality.
They didn't tidy up after themselves completely, nor did head office keep us updated on the workers' time of arrival (ultimately 2 hours later than scheduled).

EXCELLENT COMPANY. EXEMPLARY SERVICE. QUALITY PRODUCTS SO HAVE USED THEM AGAIN.
This company offered to conduct a survey of my solar panels and associated equipment without obligation. They made a very strong case for installing an extra back up battery so that the energy generated by my panels can be used at night. This was especially significant given the fact that the difference in price between that power given to the grid by my panels and that extracted from the grid for use at night is in my view extreme and immoral. Given that electricity price increases have been extreme recently this is not reflected in the price generators pay us. So the company turned up on time 5 days later to install this battery that should pay for itself in 18 months. The installers tidied up the wiring and moved the batteries out of site and having cleaned up after themselves they left me a very happy customer. I have used them before and was happy to use them again now. They are not the cheapest but you pay for quality products and excellent service - and they deliver.

What a refreshing change
What a refreshing change. Not being asked for any payment before the 14 day cooling-off period. Ashley Gray was a pleasant courteous individual he was polite, knowledgeable and informative, and in no way pushy.
The installation was carried out in a timely proficient manner by two very engaging young men who obviously knew their job and even input the app to my mobile phone explaining how everything worked.
Liam in the office was pleasant and very helpful. This Company has a lot going for it.

Solar PV battery system install
The rep “Anthony” came and looked at my PV system and worked out a lot of information that was spot on so I could see how much I was loosing to the grid by not having a battery to store the energy for me to use.
The installation was done within the week, two young lads arrived to do the job, very friendly and good at their job, a couple of hours later and the job was done, no issues, all clean and tidy, spot on.

Helpful and efficient
All went according to plan and the installers were efficient and helpful. However apparently my walls are too thick for the app to function. This is rather frustrating but the system seems to be working. Just need the sun to shine now

Appointment delayed by weather
Unfortunately due to ice and snow the installation duo did not arrive until 1 and a half hours late. Also I had to phone the office to find out when they were coming as there was no call. The installation went well and they made a good job of the inverter and battery installation. Finishing at 1740 hrs!
Unfortunately due to their late arrival I was delayed from another appointment.
The installation team were both polite and were experienced. The system appears to be working. Unfortunately the App couldn't be accessed that evening, however I have received a follow-up call and guided explanation which has enabled me to access the website on my PC. I have been recommended to try and install the Smartphone App in a couple of days.

Energy saving measures installed
We had moved into a bungalow recently and received a letter from EH regarding the low energy performance of the property and some of the free energy saving services they provided. I contacted them, spoke to John and arranged for him to come and assess the property. This he did and, following the assessment, arranged for new cavity wall insulation to be installed and radiator controls fitted. Dates and times were agreed to undertake the work and we had regular contact with John and Kennedy at EH. The cavity wall insulation was completed by James, and the the radiator thermostats by Lee and Mark on the agreed dates. All were friendly, professional, well informed, and ensured that any queries we had were answered eg how to use the heating app controlling the thermostats. Great service - thank you

Liam was a big help
Liam was a big help - when purchasing a solar system it is a big expense and so one has to be sure that a/ the System is correct and suits your needs and b/ that your money is safe.
Well speaking on behalf of Chinnor Village Hall I can confirm that efficienthomes fulfill both.
They kept us in the loop at all times - sometimes I had to ask 2 or 3 times but Liam did come back. Our system to up and running the fitters were polite and efficient.
Just to mention that the scaffolding is still up and needs to be dismantled.

Great Service
Had a call from this company out of the blue to explain as our solar panel inverters had not been tested for over 10 years that it would be a good idea to have this done. We were a little concerned because of so many cold callers over the past few years but John from this company put our minds at ease. James came to see us today and we were very impressed with his knowledge and information for us to think about a battery in the future but no hard sell at all. Certainly if we have any problems in the future we will get in touch with them. Our panels are still working well after 10 years at approximately 95% which was good news.

Local Installer proves a good choice
Having given up on our energy supplier and an on-line company that offered to find local suppliers to fit solar panels for me, I was very pleased to have selected Efficient Homes from Trustpilot, as they have proved to be very good at what they do.
They provided an initial quote, updated it following an in-house inspection. Fitted all the panel and equipment all as per the given dates. Handles all the network requirements and implemented the warranty insurance.
The work has been carried out to my satisfaction by competent engineers, who I would highly recommend.

Paul who came out to us explained everything with no pressure to buy another battery but after discussing things with him we decided it was the right thing to do. The engineer who came out to install the battery was very polite and carried out the job with care and was very courteous.

Solar Edge upgrade to my existing solar…
Solar Edge upgrade to my existing solar system.
After receiving a cold call I agreed to let Efficient Homes Ltd's surveyor visit to talk to me. I was looking to get my panels upgraded with Solar Edge and asked if they could do this for me.
The surveyor was very good and left me with information about my system and optional improvements one of which was a solar edge upgrade.
I was told this could be done within a week and I was made an appointment for the following Friday.
Although I had to chase for a formal quote and confirmation of the installation date, everything went well. The installation team arrived on time and after I showed them where everything was they got on with the work. This was completed very quickly and efficiently. I already had a monitor for solar generation so I could see that my system was producing. The team told me that the office would send me a link to the Solar Edge monitoring service which I received by email a few days later. Once I'd registered and logged on I could see all of the solar edge equipment and how much energy each panel was producing, which is what I wanted.
I had a couple of questions regarding warranty wording which were answered by the office manager, Liam.
I received documentation and warranty information regarding the upgrade by email.
Altogether I am very happy with the Solar Edge upgrade that Efficient Homes Ltd. did for me
