We had our Klargester emptied last week and had booked in for a service while the technician was out. The emptying went fine but the technician could not perform the service as he could not see the soakaways (saying he would need to return with an excavator to find them, obviously costing a lot more). We happily paid for the emptying but when I called to query the full charge for a service that could not be performed, I was told that was the more cost effective option compared to a call out charge.
It does feel a bit much to be charged £210 for someone to open a manhole cover and have a glance inside before saying nothing can be done, so my advice would be to use Ekoflow for emptying and ask the technician on the day whether a service is possible before requesting that to be done separately.
EDIT: Following from Ekoflow, I can confirm they sent a revised invoice for half the price. I appreciate the gesture but I had already paid the invoice as per the advice from the customer service agent I spoke to on the phone.

We have been very impressed with Ekoflow. Our first contact with Imogen was comprehensive as we stated our situation. She immediately understood and acted and within a day a meeting was set up. The site visit was carried out with very good attention to detail and followed up with a report, again within 24 hours. This is truly a first class service.

We have used Ecoflow for some years. They have serviced and replaced a very old macerating pump efficiently and effectively. The new pump has just been checked and a verbal report on its functionality given. I would not dream of using anyone but Ekoflow for servicing or repairs. Pleasant workers too who know what they are doing.

Excellent and thorough service provided by Ekoflow who emptied and serviced our sewage treatment plant. Highly skilled and knowledgeable, they provided advice regarding on going maintenance of the system. First time we have used Ekoflow, will definitely continue to use them in the future.

As usual, the Ekoflow team arrived on time and got on with the annual servicing and emptying of our sewage treatment plant. I was pleased to see that Ekoflow now have their own tankers so servicing and the emptying of the plant is now wholly their responsibility; in previous years, a third-party company completed emptying.
All of the staff who attended were very friendly and professional and kept me aware of what they were doing and why they were doing it. The annual servicing and emptying were completed in about an hour.
I was advised that part of the overflow pipe was slightly backing up water and could benefit from high pressure jetting. I agreed the quote which was provided on-site and an appointment was made for the following afternoon. As James had a cancelled appointment he phoned and offered a visit in the morning which I accepted. He arrived shortly afterwards and completed the jetting operation quickly and without any mess.
Thanks also to Imogen who co-ordinates everything back at the office and was extremely helpful when I called with a couple of queries.
Ekoflow have exceeded my expectations and I will definitely use them in the future.
