ElekDirect Avis 

Needed a new washer dryer machine when motor in existing one failed. Searched online for same integrated model (Smeg) as I knew this fitted the opening size. Search came up with several sites and options but ElekDirect were offering a large discount (£300) on the model I wanted but with cosmetic scratches to top and sides of machine. These cosmetic defects would not be visible when the machine was installed in place. Decided to place order but once payment button selected and confirmed transaction with my bank the process seemed to stall for several minutes. I rang the contact number on the website to check if the transaction had in fact been completed. The phone was answered very quickly and the staff member was able to confirm that the sale was marked as pending as the sale had not completed. Told me that the pending order would cancel after 15 minutes and I could then begin the process again. This worked and the order was completed on Friday followed by delivery on the Sunday.

Delivery drivers were very efficient, sending text with a four hour expected delivery slot followed by further texts and calls narrowing the time slot as they got nearer with a call when I was next drop. The 2 delivery staff were very friendly and obliging and delivered the machine into the utility room.

Once unpacked (not manufacturers packing but very well packed and protected) the defects as advertised were hardly noticeable and invisible once installed in position.

Only problem I encountered was the water stop (flood prevention) pipe nut to connect to the water supply was very difficult to turn so couldn’t connect. I reused the pipe from my old machine and the machine is working fine.

The machine has been used 2/3 times per week for 1 month and everything is working fine. The machine came with 2 year manufacturer warranty and this is now registered with Smeg.

Bought a Hisense fridge freezer for £440 including delivery for my utility room. Argos and Curry selling same for £800. Had scratch to front and small dent at bottom other than that in perfect working condition. Delivered within a few days. Delivery lads were an absolute delight and couldn’t be more helpful. Excellent company excellent experience and service.

Excellent fridge freezer, said there was some cosmetic marks but can’t even tell where they are, delivery men was lovely quick and efficient. Definitely recommend this company as you can’t beat the price anywhere

Bough a Samsung OLED was by far the cheapest price in market, the box was slightly damaged but TV was pristine. Delivery was easy and well communicated. Will definitely purchase again from here.

I really wish I had known about this company before I had bought all my other electrical products. I wanted an under counter freezer and was going to order from my usual supplier when I noticed this company on Google. The price of the freezer was £30 cheaper than elsewhere and the cosmetic damage was unnoticable. Ordering was easy and the delivery people were excellent keeping me well informed of delivery times. Will use again for my next electrical equipment.

Ordering the fridge/freezer on line was straight forward, communication was excellent and the product was delivered with care, within the time slot.
The price of the unit was very competitive and everything is working fine.

The two guys who delivered my 70/30 fridge freezer were really good, for a start the item was too talk to get into my house ( silly me not measuring first) but their knowledge was amazing and yes they did it , it was hot so was happy to give them a tip for a drink 🥃 so yes very happy.

I have ordered from Elekdirect many times and was always satisfied with the price, the equipment, and the delivery; however, this time I was treated like trash by the delivery man. He was rude from the very start and his answer to everything was that it couldn't be done. I ordered an AFF—this was the third time ordering the same model and dimensions; the old one was destroyed in a kitchen fire. The kitchen has since been rebuilt and expanded, and the doors replaced with new ones that open both ways—a huge convenience. Previous delivery teams managed to install the same AFF model in just a few minutes, but this time I was refused immediately. The man told me I wasn't an "AO customer" and that I had to carry the old model out of the house myself—even though I live in a house where the kitchen is on the ground floor with just three steps, and I had paid for the old appliance to be hauled away! He claimed there was no room, but when I said I would report the issue, he grudgingly took the old fridge—yet left the new one on the driveway next to the house! My husband—who stepped out of work for 30 minutes—and I carried the new AFF inside ourselves. My husband is recovering from an accident and had a broken foot, making it hard for him to lift heavy objects, and I am recovering from shoulder rehabilitation; yet, we managed to get the AFF into the house in 15 minutes. The delivery man's behavior was shocking.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. I saved £80 on a tumble dryer buying from Elekdirect. It was supposed to have various scratches/marks hence the reduction but I honestly couldn’t see anything significant. Free delivery also…no complaints here!

Purchases a Fridgefreezer through the website, everything was easy and went through smoothly. Appliance was delivered a few days later by helpful delivery crew. Very happy with the appliance and the service.
