This is a scam site. Very poor quality from China and difficult to return items

Anything associated with the brand eg Ellington Apparel, that appeared from the website to be based in the EU - is a Chinese scam. Avoid.

This business should be closed down , robbers , ordered shorts couple of months ago, not arrived, should have researched them before buying 👎

Do not waste your time. I bought a dress, it is nothing like the picture, very cheaply made. I even tried to cancel the item within the 2 hour grace period that they give you but even though I emailed within that 2 hour timeframe, they refused it by saying it was already processed. It then arrived and as above, quality is awful. I have asked 3 times for a refund and each time they have tried to bargain with me to keep it for a partial refund and trying to gaslight me into keeping the item for the sake of the environment!

Upon reading other reviews, it claims the returns are to China, despite their company address being: Address: Diepenheimseweg 27, Neede, 7161mh, Netherlands

Shady business, crap products, gaslighting to top it off - avoid at all costs.

This company, its products and its customer service is terrible. I ordered 2 pairs of footwear. They were delivered seperately. The first pair were the wrong size but when I asked for a resolution they offered several stupid responses. The craziest was that I had to return them, at my expense, to their depot in China and once checked over a refund would be given. This was even though it was their mistake!!!
Long story short. They then blanked me but fortunately my credit card took immediate action and gave me a refund. Ellington London(China actually!!!) did not contest this.
The quality of the footwear items seems really shoddy.
What an aweful experience. A company delusional who mislead and mistreat its customers.
I will be giving the footwear to a charity shop as I have my refund now and Ellington have not responded to my offer to comply with their collection arrangements.

I would never use this company again. Quality of clothing is awful. When I asked for a refund they offered me 35% or I had to return it myself to China. How do these companies get away with trading in this country.

Beware of this Company
Purchased a pair of shoes which were too small and were awful quality, very cheaply made with really poor and tacky materials. Please be aware that, in this instance, the product comes straight to you from a Chinese factory. Stock is clearly not kept in London. Their return policy is that you have to pay for the return, not to a London address but back to the factory in China. That is not clear in their marketing, all of which suggests that you are dealing with a UK based retailer which you are clearly not.
The shoes have gone straight in the bin. Avoid at all costs. Absolute garbage.

Beware, these have nothing to do with London or the UK, the whole enterprise is based in China, the reason I mention this becomes clear later.

Absolutely dross shoes, when they eventually arrived after weeks of promises and excuses, they were cheap plastic shoes you could buy from any UK market for £10.

Unfortunately I can't add photos or I'd include the plastic bags they arrived packaged in, the cheap ill fitting insoles, the crumpled state of the shoes themselves and the cheap material used in manufacturing.

The excuses for non-delivery were endless and they eventually ended up in the Relay UK sorting warehouse only for them to stay there for approximately a month.

After much digging into their website, I eventually found out they 'easy return process' is to email for permission, returned in the same packaging (plastic bags with sellotape holding it together, presumably I'd have to sellotape the sellotape together) AND pay transportation costs to China!

I think I'll have these mounted on the wall as a reminder of what can happen with unscrupulous traders.

'Men's Hand-made Leather Shoes'. Long delivery time with endless 'promisingly worded' comms. Shoes arrived crumpled in poly bags. Not leather but 'PU leather fabric. Ellington London is a misnomer. No shop, misleading photos., untruthful online marketing from China. 'Returns' must be Approved then posted to China at buyer's expense. An awful experience. Very lightweight shoes, glorified by product photos. Giving the shoes to a charity shop hoping that somebody can use them.

Shoe size: normally take 8-81/2. Ordered a 9 (43). Uncomfortabley tight. I'm guessing that a 10 might fit or possibly 11.
Quality is no more than expected for the price paid.

Ordered shoes some time ago and kept receiving messages that there were delays with postage. They arrived today wrapped in plastic so they were a bit squashed. To say they were poor quality would be an understatement. Cheaply made and not leather. Each shoe is a slightly different shape and the laces look and feel like rough string. I will be donating them to my local Ukrainian support group. A company to be avoided.

Shoes load of rubbish Never seen shoes like these , delivered in an old bag All crumbled up . Spelt of chemical , shocking . Trying to get refund but getting nowhere.
Stay way , if it’s to good to be true It usually is and certainly in this case , I will post some pictures . Shoes for my husband , they are so bad it somehow gave us a laugh then cry to think we were taken in with rubbish . Cannot believe anybody would be happy with these shoes ,think thy would fall apart even on the garden . Seen same ones now on Amazon for £12., Rubbish . I am sure what response I have had isA1 generated or Chinese interpretation. Awful experience with this company that surely are not real ??

waited month when shoes came they were wrong size theylook rubbish anyway

Bought the shoes after 2nd wearing the sole which is stuck on started to peel of the sides and threw them in the bin. Cheap Chinese crap.
