Danny rebuilt our 2019 Volvo which had done 133 000 miles and wasn't ready to die! So many memories. Danny gave us the choice of a brand new engine, a recon engine or a bare rebuild of our engine. We opted for the latter which was a big mistake, not because of Danny but because the engine was not in such good condition as we thought. Danny was transparent that the rebuild did not include any replacement parts. Unfortunately we needed a new flywheel, turbo and numerous other parts. Our rebuild went way over our budget very quickly. In hindsight, with a car with that mileage, a new engine would have been better. Not Danny's fault but l wish we'd discussed pros and cons in a bit more depth before committing. Also, the rebuild did not go to plan and when transported back to us, began very bad oil leak within a few days. Although the small print required return for exam within 300 miles ( our commute is 100 miles per day) Danny's waiver of the mileage aspect of the warranty given we were 300 miles away and goodwill in conducting the check and second rebuild with minimal charge except parts (we all know labour is the real expense)and paying half transport costs to get it back to Essex were such a relief. A new seal was required and the engine had to be stripped down a second time, again we were without the car for another 3+ weeks :( but since we've had the car back, 3 weeks now, fingers x'd it has run like a brand new car. Another expense was having to hire a second car as we couldn't manage with one, but accept that won't be true for everyone. Danny has obvious skill and knowledge and it wasn't his fault we were punch drunk at the cost by the time it was finished! As l say, with a high mileage car, a new engine may have been a better choice. But quality customer care shows only when things go wrong. The first service was carried out without charge and only minimal labour costs on the non engine related issues, a fair contribution towards recovery costs which was a long distance from the workshop, videos and proof of careful work throughout. So although way over our budget, we're pleased with Engine Reborn overall and would recommend. Not 5 stars as the experience was a roller coaster but would put 4.5 if l could.

My 2015 Land Rover Discovery had engine failure in Nov 2025, To fix major engine faults the whole body has to be lifted of the chasse and no local garage was prepared to tie up their vehicle lift for the period of time required to rebuild the engine. I was advised to scrap it! This was not acceptable to me and after some research I found Engine Reborn. Danny was quick to respond to my enquiry, with a full explanation of the process. My vehicle was collected and the engine rebuilt replacing a cracked crank shaft, the turbos and many other parts. My lovely Discovery is now working well and I am a happy customer. Communication and end result was good and I can recommend Engine Reborn Ltd.

I contacted engine reborn in February to look at my range rover sports engine, danny was amazing from first contact to last. Although the outcome wasnt what danny or i was expecting his knowledge and communication was great. Danny kept me up to date with every little detail of stripping my engine including videos and pictures of the process. I needed extra reports from them which they provided me without any problems. Best service ever. When I was looking for a company to give my Range Sport an engine rebuild after bottom end damage, I was a bit reluctant to send it over to someone who I had never used before, like most people. Danny from Engine Rebuild was very polite and confident in dealing with this. He explained in detail the procedure that once the car was collected, they would keep me updated with images and videos form start to finish. From the engine in and then after it had been removed, plus all the parts once in bits. Which they did. Very reassuring for the customer.
I have had the vehicle back for just over 5 months now and its running and sounding like a new car.
Definitely recommend this company for any engine work.

My son bought his first car and within weeks it was burning oil. I decided not to scrap the car as the body work was immaculate. I contacted Engine Reborn and was given a good price to rebuild the engine. Whilst the cost did go up due to the additional damage found, everything was explained to me. There were a few unexpected electrical faults when we got the car back but Engine Reborn fixed them in good time. We’ve had the car back now for several months now and the car is running perfectly. Collected my Range Rover sport from where it broke down and rebuilt most of the engine. Kept us updated with photos of the work and parts that were replaced. All now working as it should, great service, would use again and would recommend.

I trusted my 40year old Jaguar XJ6 to Danny and his team and I was not disappointed. Initially my engine was to be rebuilt by Engine Reborn but after removal and strip down the cylinder head proved to be pretty much non serviceable. The cost to rebuild and supply a new cylinder head would have been colossal. I managed to find a donor car with a bad body but good engine. Danny agreed to receive the complete car, remove the engine and fit to my car. This was carried out efficiently and in a professional manner. The only down side was the water pump was not changed from my original engine to the donor engine, so this is a job to be done in the near future. I understand why this was not carried out as Danny was aware the donor was good and did not want to compromise that, I guess. The whole process from receiving my car to it being delivered took 5 months and I was always mindful of the room the cars were taking up. Danny kept me informed with videos and phone calls. Obviously no guarantee with this engine. Overall I am more than happy the final result and would use their services again. I have just started the car up after leaving it for a week and she started up on first turn of the KEY. Thanks Danny to you and your team.

I was in a terrifying place when my Land Rover Discovery had a complete engine failure and needed to be rebuilt because so many people scammed to be offering low repair pricing. It's not possible! After many others companies, I had a conversation with Engine Rebourn (Danny). His description of the entire procedure, was truthful, and refrained from pursuing the business. My Land Rover was returned to me last month. He had good communication, and sent a number of pictures and videos showing the progress. Had a complete engine failure in my Discovery at 48000 miles - new crankshaft, cam shaft, turbos, con rods (the list goes on) later, I have my car back and have just completed the rebuild running in mileage. I have been very impressed with these guys from the start. Wonderfully efficient, no BS and have lived up to what they said they could do. Video and photos every step of the way highlighting damage on key components enhanced the level of trust that vehicle was at the right place.

Recently had our Discovery in for engine rebuild. From the first contact the guys at Engine Reborn have been great. Communication every step of the way, videos to show progress. Quick repair considering the huge amount of work put into the rebuild. Not pleased Landrover produce cars that snap crankshafts at 90,000 miles, but ER made the process of repair as smooth as it could be. Well done and thank you.
