Ordered an upright bike the one that came wasn’t the model I ordered and the bike itself wasn’t working the battery was corroded inside.

Was told a replacement would come out and be delivered free of charge and that they’d take the old one away. Old one wasn’t took and the one that got delivered the screen is all out of place and drops out as soon as you start pedalling. Requested refund been told will get one but not bad anything through and emails aren’t being replied too. Out of pocket and stuck with two bikes in my garage I can’t do anything with.

Bought a few things from E4G in the past and never had an issue.

The last two items however, have been awful and showed a complete lack of customer service.

First of all, a treadmill that barely works, and when I emailed about it I received empty promises and not much else, even a blatant oblivious response.

Now, I’ve been waiting for a replacement cable for a belt squat which is “definitely coming” for weeks.

Very unlikely I’ll buy anything from here again, especially after reading other reviews.

Ok where do I start?

If I could rate 0 stars I would!

Let’s start with what I ordered. So on the 13th Feb 2026 I ordered a Dual Leg Ext/Curl from this company (Equip4Gyms).

On their website the machine was listed on back order with an estimated wait of 6-8 weeks. I was ok to wait this long.

As time went on more than 8 weeks passed and I had no further updates on where my machine was and when it was due to arrive.

So I reached out to the sales team and I was passed around 3 different people trying to get updates and handed excuse after excuse.

From reasons like Weddings, Annual leave, Sickness absence and just general busy schedules. Now at first I had no issues with these trains as generally they are valid.

I really drew the line at the war between Iran and Iraq being used as a reason for my machine being delayed!

People are literally dying and losing their homes - yet this company thought it would be a good excuse to tell me why my machine was delayed!

I’ve lost track of the amount of phone calls, texts & emails I’ve sent and received.

My business has been affected and so has my time. I’ve spent so much time chasing this up that I should be charging this company an admin fee!

We are now 5 months down the line and I still haven’t received my machine!

I have been told I will get a refund. This was last Thursday (it’s now Wednesday the following week). I haven’t received any further info on that - nor have I seen the money come in.

This company lies, scams and has horrible customer service.

DO NOT USE THIS COMANY!

AVOID!! I ordered 3 items from them 7 months ago. 2 arrived the third did not, I have been chasing it ever since. After months of wasting time chasing the item, excuses, waiting in for “it’ll definitely be delivered on this day” and requesting a refund there’s no sign of it or the refund. I’ve put a Section 75 claim in with my credit card company. The next stage after that is the small claims court.

Scam don’t waste your time or money

Honestly the worse experience iv ever had buying gym equipment, Bought a side lateral off them and for the past 4 weeks iv been just given bs by the owner Dom, keep promising that it will be with me by the end of the week then nothing happens, they literally do not care about their customers, just excuses saying that it’s due to staff shortages and being busy??!! They would rather ignore you then pull their finger and get in a van to deliver the machine. That’s if this machine even exists!!! Also asked for the invoice for this machine that I paid and still nothing!

Enquired about 4 treadmills so they Offered to give me a 1 treadmill for free for all my hassle yet that still hasn’t turned up and totally ignore me when I ask about the side lateral which is what I bought!

So Iv bought those treadmills now from somewhere else, because I actually need these as per everything people buy for their gym.

If you want to be let down and don’t mind getting equipment that you pay for delivering when it suits them this E4G is the company to go for!

Avoid this company at all costs! Absolute poor communication. Constant lies about orders being sent out, when they do not even have the stock available - that many lies, they forget what they have said previously and will tell you something completely different. The only way to get a refund was to raise a dispute through the bank. DO NOT USE.

AVOID!!! Absolute joke of a company, will take your money and not deliver anything, once you finally get in touch with someone they will lie to you and then keep changing their story on what's happening with your order. Had to get our money back through the bank, would give them 0 stars if it was an option!

This is the worst company you could possibly deal with.

Almost everything they are selling they do not have in stock.

I would avoid at all costs!!!

We purchased around 60 items in November 2025. It is 7 months later and not even half has turned up and no refund given despite asking multiple times.

They also send “replacements” which are not satisfactory.

We have waited in on 15 occasions where they have told us they have sent delivery of goods and then nothing turns up.

We’ve had guarantees from the owner Dominic about stuff turning up and it never does.

Also we originally dealt with Josh and have asked multiple……multiple!!!!! Times for pictures of the equipment and it was always, yes, later this afternoon or tomorrow, then this never came

It’s either one of two things!

1. They don’t know what’s going on with their stock which is why you shouldn’t purchase from them.

2. They don’t ever have the items in stock, in which case you still won’t receive your items.

They will ignore messages, lie about orders coming and generally try to palm you off with substandard stock compared to what you purchased.

This is your warning…. Buy from

An absolute shambles of a company!!
Don’t use them.

I ordered 5 pieces of equipment over 5 months ago, with a lead time of 7 weeks on 2 of them, I’ve only received 2 out of 5.

They’ve told me the pallets were lost, coming from Saudi Arabia, Germany etc and now it’s that tracking can’t be found.

I’ve spoken to multiple people in this company and not one of them are legitimate with giving reasons etc. The owner has avoided me like the plague because he knows the situation is a mess and can’t fix it or in his words doesn’t have the time to.

5 months down the line I’m still being told I’ll get a phone call back in 15 mins that never happens.

An absolute shambles of a company rotten to the core.

There’s no way this company acts like the leading gym equipment selling company in the UK.

I purchased a weight-loaded leg press from this company for just under £1,000. Before ordering, I asked if they could hold the item for a few weeks as my gym wasn't quite ready, and they were happy to accommodate this request.

When I later asked for the item to be dispatched, I was told that everything was fine and that I would receive communication 48 hours before the delivery date. Unfortunately, weeks passed and I heard nothing. I contacted the company several times to follow up, and this is where the problems began.

Although I spoke to multiple members of staff, each person assured me they would sort the issue, but no one ever got back to me. This went on for several weeks with no progress or communication.
Eventually, I requested to cancel my order and receive a refund. Again, I was repeatedly told that management needed to authorise the refund, but no one could make it happen. Staff claimed there was nothing more they could do.
In the end, I had to raise a dispute with my bank to recover my money.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend purchasing equipment from this company. The lack of communication, poor customer service, and difficulty obtaining a refund made what should have been a straightforward purchase a very frustrating experience.

This company still owes me a large refund from an order back in February. Ignore emails and do not call back when promised.

Do not use this company

Ordered a leg extension/leg curl with expectation it would be "dispatched with 8 weeks" (still currently quoted on website). I have asked multiple times for an update, with it now being ~12 weeks in. I appreciate delays can happen, all I have asked for is an update on delivery. Phone line doesn't work, mobile is never answered, and now multiple emails have been left unanswered after weeks of following up/ patiently waiting. Really poor customer service, not sure if I've been scammed entirely, and obviously I can't comment on the quality of the machine itself!
I'll update/ change my review if things progress, but for now I couldn't recommend these guys too anyone else. Reading the other similar recent reviews here is alarming.
Update: contacted by the company to explain some internal issues they've had, with an undertaking to resolve my order. I have temporarily updated my review, and will do so again if/when the issue is sorted.
Update 16/07/26: company has went bust and liquidated assets. This was a day after my promised delivery date so i can only presume it was a scam all along to keep me waiting until they wrote off liabilities.

Fraudulent company.

I paid for a StairMaster over 5 months ago and never received it.

On at least three occasions I was told the item was in stock and would be delivered the following day. Each time, the delivery failed to materialise. I was also provided with a tracking number which did not correspond to any genuine shipment.

After months of delays, excuses and broken promises, I requested a full refund. Despite this, I have still not received my money back.

Thankfully all communication has been by email and text, so I have a complete record of what was promised. Based on my experience, I have no confidence in this company's claims and would strongly advise others to exercise caution before sending payment.

The matter is now being reported to the relevant authorities and pursued through my bank.

We are now on eight weeks since we paid for the item and the company is now ignoring all of our contact. They have ignored us on social media messages and emails. We have had to contact our bank to open a payment Dispute to get out our money back as they will not respond. Their landline number does not work and the mobile number does not get answered. We trusted these guys to start with, but they failed to deliver in every area. I wish I would’ve read the other reviews before I placed my order with them as some are very similar to our situation. A huge amount of quality gym equipment at incredible prices.

Josh and the Team were brilliant.

I bought a duel cable pulley (over 800kg in weight) and this was couriered and received within 9-days.

Highly recommend using Equip4Gyms for home or commercial gym equipment.

Super responsive over email, very helpful staff at the warehouse when I collected. Great value treadmill highly recommend.

I ordered a leg press and while the machine has now arrived and appears to be in good working order, the overall experience was quite stressful due to poor communication.

After placing the order, I received confirmation and a delivery timeframe, but after that I heard very little, despite chasing multiple times for updates.

I’d also noticed that after I’d already paid, the same machine was still listed on their website but had been reduced by over £100, so I contacted them about this as well as asking for an update on delivery.

It was then that I was told there was an issue with the original machine and I was offered a free upgrade to a different (more premium) leg press which they could send to me the next day, which I agreed to. However, after confirming I was happy to proceed, I then received no further responses, despite sending a few emails chasing them. I was told later that the person I was dealing with was out of the office, but I'd emailed another person who also failed to respond, but who also was apparently "out of the office".

It was only after I commented on one of their Facebook posts that I received a phone call confirming dispatch. The machine that arrived was actually the original machine rather than the upgraded one I’d been told I would be receiving, although fortunately it does appear to be working correctly.

The equipment itself is good and I'm very happy with it, but the communication and uncertainty around what was actually happening with the order made the process far more stressful than it needed to be, especially as it was a lot of money I was spending.

Having said all this, I'd probably buy from them again, but definitely only through PayPal or credit card so I have buyer protection.
