Pretty good
Easy set up but took longer than I thought it would. The foreign payment also took longer to execute than fx payments on my business fx service.
Good that you can see live rates but I suspect the absolute rate given might be bettered elsewhere but I did not check this.
All in all not bad and easy to use.

We're sorry you feel your registration took longer than expected. I'm sure you understand that anti-money laundering identification checks are a legal requirement designed to protect our customers and ourselves as well as our payments provider. Whilst we make every effort to complete these as expediently as possible, we cannot cut corners and some take longer than others. I understand in this case the delay was a matter of hours and that our managing director personally kept you informed of progress.
Your payment was made by same day wire on the spot value date. This is standard in the industry and in line with our terms and conditions.
We would always encourage customers to shop around and compare rates. We are open and honest with our prices and are the only currency company to show them live on our website. We are generally found to be extremely competitive. We feel that your comment that the rate might have been better elsewhere is rather unfair as you did not actually check.

I cannot fault this company
I have had nothing but outstanding service from this company over the past 8 years. You get to speak to Jacky Chapple or a colleague within a couple of rings. Jacky has been incredibly professional and has always dealt expediently with all my needs, and with absolute calm in contrast to my anxiousness with the whole business of international financial exchange. The exchange rates have been better than any other company I looked into, and in short, I would only do international financing through them. I wouldn't waste a moment looking for alternatives.

The rate you see is the rate you get.
Used Eris FX for the first time and had no problems. Plus i like the fact that on the website you can enter the exact amount of currency you need and they show the actual TRUE exchange rate that you will get at that particular time.

Exceptional personal service.
I had currency coming in from France which did not arrive on time. ErisFx were exceptional in their personal service in trying to locate and track the currency way beyond the service that was originally requested and eventually receiving the funds.
Jackie Chappel is superb and I have no hesitation in recommending this Company to all.

Issues with joint bank accounts
Checks on names on bank account should be done at the start of the process, it must be common for couples to have joint bank accounts. It's good companies are vigilant but do checks at the start

Thank you for your feedback.
Yes it is very common for couples to have a joint bank account and we ask this question at the start of the process. Unfortunately, at that stage you told us that the money would be coming in from a bank account in your name only but subsequently sent it from a joint bank account.
As a consequence we had to do the checks on the joint bank account holder at a later stage in the process than we would normally do. The alternative would have been to return your funds.
We hope this clarifies our position and thank you again for your business.

No BS - just great straight talking service
Having been dismayed by the lack of transparency of most other FX traders - i.e. advertised rates are not what is achievable; sign up first then we will tell you what the rate is etc etc - it was refreshing to come across erisfx. There is no soft soap, what you see is what you get. In addition, all those I spoke to were completely professional and friendly - but sincerely so, not trying to be "matey" (perhaps this is because they are not London based).
So rather than feeling that I was being had - I feel that I am an equal partner in the transaction. Thank you eris fx for campaigning for transparency in the murky waters of fx trading - more strength to your elbow. I shall continue to support you with my business and have no reservation in recommending you to others.

4x Currency (now Eris FX)
I have been using the online dealer regularly for about 7 years, most recently this week.
It suits my way of doing things and has always worked perfectly for me (except the exchange rate always seems to improve as soon as I hit the submit button!)
Transactions are fast and on the few occasions I have had questions a response has been received within a few hours taking account of the time difference between UK and Australia.
No hesitation in recommending

First Class Service
For starters they save us an absolute fortune compared to other sites and especially the banks in our forex deals. and on top of that the software is amazing and so simple to use and if you have any problems the people on the helpline are so hopefully and calls get answered really quickly with no automated mumbo-jumbo to fight through.
I cannot rate this company highly enough.
