Excellent if you want to make a simple trade yourself as the rate is there on the landing screen and is generally a competitive rate and I dont think you will find a better rate displayed on any other site. Could you get cheaper? maybe but it involves having to make phone calls with brokers which costs your time and then you get an annoying broker phone you every week to be overly pally with you, asking what your needs are trying to get you to do x y z to make yourself about an extra 20p and wasting even more time.

It works!
I have used this company for all our currency needs for close on 10 years and never had the slightest problem. On the few occasions I have needed to speak to someone they have always been very helpful and dealt with my needs quickly and efficiently. Very happy to recommend.

Thank you for your review. We wish we could show how our rates compare but our competitors won’t publish their pricing. It’s something we’re lobbying the regulator for.

Rookie mistake
I did not know how the process worked once my funds came through so there was a delay. I can take some responsibility for not phoning and asking what to do sooner but some prompting would have helped.

Service easy to use and efficient
Service easy to use and efficient. Only minor gripe is delay in receiving euros payment caused by weekend. I purchased on a Friday, paid immediately (via faster payments) yet my euros were not dispatched until the following Tuesday. Why not Monday?? - after all you had the money.

It’s nice to hear that you find our service easy to use and efficient.
It’s also our gripe that the standard ‘spot’ settlement for foreign exchange has not yet caught up with the ‘faster payments’ system and is two working days after the transaction. This can be frustrating for fast paying customers like yourself. Even though we had your money in our account on Monday, the FX deal didn’t settle with our own supplier until the Tuesday, and we paid the Euros to you as soon as we received them. So I can assure you that we never hang on to your money longer than we have to. I hope this helps.

Eris FX's service for transferring GBP to EUR is easy to use and the funds are always prompt to be delivered (Usually within 2-3 days from placing the order).
When I have had any questions I have always received quick, informative replies.
