If you’re going to the Stansted Escape lounge I wouldn’t bother. It’s been moved to near the gates for long-haul flights, so if you fly Ryanair/easyjet etc it’s of no use to you. It’s also offer... Voir plus

Be prepared to be kept to waiting list
This is the first lounge that refused my entry with a DragonPass QR pass on the reception that the lounge must be booked in advance. NEVER before, when accessing business lounges through loyalty programs linked to bank accounts, was I asked for anything other than proof of access via card or QR code.
In this lounge, however, our family was put on a waiting list, which meant we were only allowed in about 10 minutes before boarding was announced and had no real opportunity to enjoy the facilities.
I would also like to point out that the lounge itself was not overcrowded - there were clearly visible empty tables - so I honestly did not understand the reason why we were kept waiting for 40 minutes.
Arrived at East Midlands Escape lounge…
Arrived at East Midlands Escape lounge 07/07/25 to be told no availability today yet lots of tables empty not displaying reserved notes on them, my wife asked if there was anything they can do as there was only 2 of us and we only wanted to be there for an hour but was told abruptly no, I will never use this lounge again
Escape Lounge - East Midlands
Thought I would review given the surprisingly low raiting for this company. Arrived and were greeted immediately and shown to our table in the much improved lounge since it's renovation. Bar service and range of drinks were fine. Not the greatest range of food for breakfast but all was hot and well cooked. Only downside is there is no separate toilet facilities you have to go back out into the main terminal but this is only a very short walk away.
Ridiculous lounge experience
Was at the Escape lounge in Stansted. Waited to get on the waitlist, waited for registration, waited to get assigned a seat. Meanwhile, lots of chairs and tables were empty. This is an airport lounge for God’s sake, not a gourmet restaurant
Don’t bother.
Overpriced. Whilst it is nice to have somewhere relatively quiet to relax prior to boarding, the price is too high. Yes, there are ‘free’ drinks but there’s only so much one can consume in the time. Mt main gripe is with the laughable buffet option. The choice of cheese was “cheddar” (Red Leicester 🙄). There were almost no salad options and the hot food was 80% vegetarian (nothing against veggies but it pointed toward their preference for cheap food options. The other meat choice was a cheap pie with non descript meat. No cold meats and fish options and nothing really suitable for people like us preferring to eat low carb. Some fruit, a very dry chocolate muffin and an acceptable croissant. We went out the day before and had a restaurant meal and drinks for the same money. There was no competition. Very disappointing
Escape Lounge Bristol
Escape Lounge Bristol. Just a con and I echo the other comments here. No point in having a priority or dragon pass as they turn you away. Staff on door are rude and always claim to be full when they are clearly not
Have raised with Dragon and Priority

Tried to book bristol lounge using my dragon pass and it is supposedly fully booked. Went on the escape lounge website and suprise suprise there is availability if you pay full price. This is an absolute rip off.
Escape lounge Manchester disappointment
The most disappointing airport lounge I’ve ever used: very limited choice of food and drink, decor like a motorway service station with poor quality bathroom. At least you are away from the crowds at Manchester T3
Escape lounge pre-booking
Escape Lounge: A Year of Disappointment
For over a year now, my attempts to pre-book the Escape Lounge at Bristol Airport with my Dragon Pass have been met with consistent disappointment. It seems that access for Dragon Pass holders is perpetually restricted to after 16:00. This limitation severely diminishes the value of the pass for anyone with earlier flights. The inability to enjoy the lounge's amenities before an afternoon departure is frustrating, making pre-booking virtually pointless for many travellers. Hopefully, the accessibility for Dragon Pass users will improve in the future, allowing for a more flexible and beneficial lounge experience.
Totally pointless having a priority…
Totally pointless having a priority pass, we tried to book online when we booked our flights but wouldn’t let us complete the booking, we got turned away once arrived even though there was plenty of seating, we where told fully booked and pointed us to a QR code reader waste of time filling this in.
Truly terrible experience at Escape…
Truly terrible experience at Escape Lounge Stansted airport this month.
I have complained twice using their ‘contact us’ form and heard nothing from them.
I dont know where to start…we booked this to make our holiday easier travelling with a toddler and I honestly wish I had just sat on the floor in Pret with him rather than waste my money on this.
First of all…the queue to get in was a total joke. We queued outside to then get sent through into the lounge where we then queued up again to check in!!! And then they could not find our allocated table so guess what….we queued up…again!! To be seated.
Then if a hat trick of queues wasnt enough we then queued up for the bar too. The food wasnt good. It was watery curry, or mash potato and chicken thighs or sausage rolls.
There were some sandwiches that were very basic and some sad looking salads.
And to top it all off….theres no toilets in there!! So you have to use the ones near the entrance in the terminal.
Honestly save your money and go to the spoons in the terminal instead.
I will never come back here.
Ruth - Bristol Airport Lounge …
My review is for Ruth at Bristol Airport Escape lounge, she was welcoming from the moment we walked through the door. And when we realised our booking had been made incorrectly (our fault) meaning we had only 40 mins left, she sorted this issue without any fuss, despite my partner getting flustered she remained friendly and continued to offer first class customer service. She is an asset to the company.

Don’t bother if you are going from Manchester and have a priority pass. I can never get in, they book out all the seats to pre-paid vouchers.
Escape Lounge Bristol
Escape Lounge Bristol. Having read a number of negative reviews on here, I have found during our visit to Escape lounge Bristol airport this week - we found the complete opposite. Accommodating (which was helpful given Ryanair's unhelpful check-in process). Reasonable food - its not Ala-carte - but it is absolutely fine for what we paid and very helpful and polite staff (Big shout out to Alicia on front desk). All in all - a good experience and i give them all 5 star for this.
Poor customer service, misleading advertising, not larger family friendly, not considerate of adults and children with additional needs
Having utilised the lounge separately in the past, my family and myself were very excited to book it for our upcoming trip to Florida. Being a family of 9 travelling together; grandparents, parents, aunties and children (including a newborn), some of whom have anxiety and other additional needs, the calm atmosphere of the lounge was something we knew would help, for us to have a positive start to the trip. When we went online to book we were very disappointed to see that groups of over 6 were not allowed. We called to double check this, with being a family and not a group for a hen/stag etc and were told it was a blanket no.
A while later we saw a post on their social media platform encouraging to book with your family. We commented that we had tried, however groups of over 6 were not allowed. They responded publicly saying this was not the case and to DM them for them to sort. As you can imagine this was great news for us and we were once again excited that our airport experience would be better. However, in the DM, when no longer a public forum, Christian from Escape simply said ‘call this number, you can try but there is no guarantee’ a very different message to the one shared publicly. We tried calling, as that is what he advised, in order to request the booking and spoke to Aisha, who immediately said no, it is a blanket no on all group bookings between July and October. I asked if exceptions were made for families and said I understood the rule in terms of groups of adults who may go heavy on the inclusive alcohol and be loud. I also explained about the additional needs we were travelling with and explained we were looking for calm and so certainly wouldn’t be disruptive. At first she said the no was because they needed to to give the lounge opportunity to as many people as possible. I explained that be it several individuals or a group, you are still giving the same number of people the opportunity. She then said it was to maintain the quality of the experience in the lounge. I questioned whether she felt my family would alter that quality, again saying I see the argument for hen/stag or large adult parties but not families. At this point she said she would end the call as I was shouting, I was not shouting at all, it wasn’t really something to be angry about, I was more trying to understand the policy. She just kept saying there are no exceptions. I queried if we would get access had we paid to fly Premier, she confirmed that we would. I therefore said so there are exceptions? Can you please consider our case. Again she got very defensive and rude, told me she was unwilling to discuss it further and ended the call. I fed this back to Christian via social media, who again was very little use. He told me I should try earlier next time as the lounge must be at capacity. At this point I am still 8 weeks from travelling and have been looking into this for quite some time (this as you see from the start of the message was a second attempt at getting the lounge on Christian’s recommendation, we had tried months before). I told him it was nothing to do with capacity or trying earlier, no one asked for a date or time, they said it was the month that was the issue. He didn’t seem to grasp that.
A post went on their social media shortly after, encouraging families to book the lounge for the summer holidays. I commented underneath that it would be helpful to make it clear that families over 6 would not be able to book in order to avoid disappointment. My comment and previous comment were both deleted and I was blocked from the page. My comments were not rude nor inflammatory (I have copies as I screenshot them luckily) it is therefore clear that to try and maintain a positive name, they delete and block customers who have less than positive views of the company. This is very dishonest and not transparent, hence me wanting to create this review.
The service I received via messages and over the phone was not positive nor helpful at all. A blanket ‘no’ rule with no clear justification is unhelpful and felt discriminatory, particularly how higher cost flight packages were allowed. No adjustments were made for customers with additional needs and the implication is made that all groups bigger than 6 impact the quality of the lounge, only during peak times though, they don’t care about it for the rest of the year.
Based on the customer service received we would not use the lounge again.
Bristol - really poor, can’t cope with the demand…
The Escape Lounge at Bristol is almost impossible to get in, always ‘full’ but plenty of empty seats and tables - I don’t think they like being busy. The lady who I assume is the manager is the most miserable and unwelcoming person in a customer service role.
Generally a nice experience, a bit scruffy
Generally a nice experience, good food and drink, relaxing environment. Carpet was disgustingly dirty, WC sink tap broken and generally tired decoration.
Escape Lounge or prison food???
Had the experience of visiting Bristol Escape Lounge on my first holiday since my stint in HMP Belmarsh. Thought I would splash the cash and treat the family. What a mistake this was, I would be better of sticking with the prison food as it was better quality and more of a variety!!
Great start to the holiday!
Harriet is is soo amazing super friendly and Emily behind the bar is working so hard to make everyone happy! Harriet looked after us so well and made this a lovely experience.also Kristina was so helpful ( who walks like a super mode btwl) and works so hard too!
