Failed to meet their promised fitting date
This is a genuine review, my order reference is ETY2G1ZV2Q6X. I placed an order for two tyres with this organisation for next day delivery and fitting with a local garage. I needed next day as our car had failed its MOT due to two damaged tyres and we needed the car over the weekend. The next morning, before the afternoon fitting, the local garage called and said they could not fit the tyres. I explained I had placed the order with etyres.co.uk and why would they allocate fitting if the garage could not meet the requirement. The garage explained that etyres.co.uk were always doing this and they were calling them weekly to get them to stop placing orders with them. They also stated that the tyres would not have arrived in time either. I advised that my contract was with etyres.co.uk and that they had to contact me to reschedule or cancel. Later etyres.co.uk duly called and advised the garage could not fit the tyres and did I want to reschedule or cancel. I cancelled, but was advised it could take up to 7 days to return my money. They were also shocked that the local garage had shared the problems they were having with tyres.co.uk with me. Obviously it was too late to get any tyres so could not use our car over this weekend, causing sever issues for us.

Ordered bank holiday Monday for a Wednesday afternoon fitting, 4 tyres locally. When I arrived mid morning to drop car off the garage pre-warned me the tyres hadn’t been delivered yet and they would normally have arrived by now. They said they have the problem all the time with etyres.
2:30 garage called to tell me still not arrived, 15mins before booking started. I was in meeting to joined online e chat with etyres who said they will find out what’s going on and let me know.
I called them to chase next day as no one had called me back and it turns out that agent was now off. Explained situation and cancelled order. What a complete waste of time. I was time it due to the bank holiday. So I said if they are a problem then don’t allow bookings. Called the customer back when and update them, check orders for delays so you don’t waste people’s time. So now I have 6 days for refund.

Don’t take the 1* reviews as gospel
Not really sure what half of these reviews are on about; etyres are purely the supplier, and are not anything related to the garage. A majority of poor reviews here are aimed at the garages, which isn’t really a fair observation.
Ordered tyres a week ago, arrived today, was booked in and fitted promptly. No complaints, cheapest for tyres in the UK after researching.

Don’t expect a booking to be honoured
Booked 2 cars in on 2 separate days for 4 tyres each both with Formula 1 with 2 -5 days
Arrived at my 1st booking told that they only just found out about my booking & were fully booked so couldn’t do it until a lot later in the day..
2nd booking told again they were very busy & running 30mins late… in the next 30mins after my booking time the manager kept coming back with excuses for why it might be better to reschedule, when I said I needed the tyres & do not have time to comeback another day he finally accepted they should do the job
What is the point in selecting a diary appointment that is free & works for you only to find the fitter has filled their diary, cannot be bothered or doesn’t want the job

Do not use eTyres! I paid for my tyres and booked a slot at a local tyre fitters. When I got there they had no record of my booking and said 'Oh, you're through eTyres - that's why. They have NO ACCESS to our booking system (unlike, for example, Black Circles). I won't say here what other allegations he made about them, but his business doesn't get my money even though they have to fit my tyres...on Sunday now!

Don't do it, all booked for Wednesday paid for, turn up at garage tyres haven't been delivered. Regular occurance according to garage.
Customer services didn't care had no idea where they were.
Cancelled order now have to wait 6 days for money back?

Booked, paid and appointment confirmed, then the garage called to say they shouldn’t have released those times but would sort it out. Etyres called later to say nothing could be done as it was now 40mins over their cut off time.
Totally let me down and clearly the connection between them and the local fitters doesn’t work.

The fitting place managed to mark and remove paint off my alloys was told to contact e tyres which I did and what a surprise they wasn't even interested
Asked to speak to the e tyres manager apparently he dosent speak to customers on the phone

Price was good, delivery not so good
Price was good, ordering was easy and the tyre fitting centre was close . Car was booked in for Wednesday but no tyres arrive ,after a few calls e tyres confirmed they would be Thursday instead, which they did . Would have been 5 Star but I had to do all the phoning, etyres appear to be reactive and not proactive which let's them down . Delays and mistakes happen but it's how you deal with them . However King Edward Tyre Services Ltd Banff were very helpful and excellent, 5 stars 🌟 for them.

Absolutely pointless just go to the garage yourself. I was booked in and paid through etyres and just had to wait hours the same as people just walking in. First come first served the garage said. I was there early. It was tyre exchange in Stockton made me wait.
First and last time using etyres
First and last time using etyres. Arrived at garage for fitting of new tyres at confirmed date/time to be told the tyres still haven’t arrived. No contact from etyres to advise me of this or any delay, so it was a wasted car journey and booked time off work. Over an hour in phone calls to etyres with no update of what is happening as they couldn’t reach the supplier. Finally got a response from the supplier who still couldn’t give an update as the warehouse manager wasn’t responding. Only options were to wait and see what’s happening without any assurances of when they would arrive and trying to get another booking slot or go through the process of a refund. Opted for a refund and will buy tyres elsewhere in future.
The last advisor I spoke with was very pleasant and apologetic for the poor service I received from etyres.
I purchased the tyre protection
I purchased the tyre protection.
Tried to claim, the app is really poor and unable to accept my upload. I tried using their website, same issue. They force the user to upload a video but dont have the ability to capture the data.
Two days without a car - as they had no record of my attempts to record the issue.
Apparently no other user in the country is experiencing issues. I used a pretty standard phone - my galaxy S24 ultra to take the pictures and recorded a video as required by the website.
It seems there is no compression on upload.
There are no preferred upload types (JPG,PNG).
There are no preferred video formats.
There are no size limits.
Must be a user issue!
I am now purchasing a tyre from a local company as i need my car. I will chase Etyres legally as i paid for their tyre protection.
Not impressed!
Still no refund after over a week!
Garage that was booked refused to do the work as they were booked up. Said we would have to get a refund through etyres. Contacted the next day and was told a refund would be issued and completed within 6 days. It’s been a week and a half and still no refund. Can’t order more until these are refunded, as it was nearly £500!
Tyres don’t care if the garage is any good
Booked for 12.30. Arrived 12.15. Mechanic was rude and said I needed to leave the car for 5 hours. Cancelled and had Halfords come out to do it, the job took 45 mins. Still waiting for a refund 10 days later as e tyres insist we have to wait for the garage to confirm non figment. The garage are unresponsive so they can sit on the stock / money . Will have to claim back on credit card.
At the mercy of the installers.
Great price on four tyres, but sadly the installer they suggested and paid damaged my wheels. It happens - the one star review here is because when I submitted a support request via their website, it was simply ignored. Perhaps they hope I’ll go away?

Bought two tyres. Then FIVE working hours before my fitting, I was emailed to say they were out of stock, and I should select some alternatives. I did. No reply. I followed up. No reply. I called to confirm all was okay and it wouldn't affect my fitting appointment. They said, they couldn't deliver the new selected tyres in time for my appointment either, so I should cancel or reschedule. No attempt to try and help solve the issue. Very poor experience. Absolute shambles. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Use BlackCircles instead
Confirmed appointment not honoured and appalling customer service
Shocking service from etyres.
I booked and paid for a mobile tyre fitting on Friday 6 March 2026 and received a confirmation stating that my appointment was booked for Tuesday 10 March 2026. That should have been straightforward. Instead, on the actual day of the appointment, I was contacted by the fitter and told they had only just received the job that day, were fully booked, and could not do it until the following morning.
That tells me the so-called confirmed booking was meaningless. etyres was perfectly happy to take payment and issue an appointment date, but plainly had not properly arranged the job with the fitter. A company should not be selling confirmed appointments if it is not actually in control of whether those appointments will be honoured.
What made it even worse was the disgraceful response from customer service. The call handler was rude, dismissive and completely uninterested in taking responsibility. I was told they do not offer compensation and, unbelievably, that they “cannot force” the fitter to do the job that day. That one sentence says everything. It shows that once etyres has your money, any failure in their own booking process simply becomes your problem to deal with.
There was no proper ownership of the issue, no meaningful attempt to put things right, and not even the level of courtesy you would expect when a company has clearly let a customer down. The whole experience was unprofessional from start to finish.
I cancelled the order and will not be using etyres again. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to think twice before relying on any “confirmed” appointment from this company.
Customer services unhelpful
I’m extremely disappointed with the customer service at etyres.
What should have been a simple issue turned into a frustrating and time-consuming experience. Responses were slow, inconsistent and at times dismissive.
I had to follow up multiple times just to get basic information and even then the answers felt scripted rather than genuinely helpful.
For a company that claims to value its customers, the lack of accountability and clear communication was unacceptable. I expected professionalism and problem-solving, but instead felt ignored and undervalued. Based on this experience, I will never use this company again.

This company are absolutely useless they lost my £350 pound tyre and would not respond to my messages they didn’t call back when they say they would customer care is zero staff unhelpful never again for me back to black circles
