Ho deciso di intraprendere un percorso universitario qui in Inghilterra, approfittando della possibilità di accedere anche senza diploma grazie all’esperienza lavorativa. Ho trovato il team di EU Network, che mi ha supportata passo dopo passo durante tutto il processo.
Si tratta di un team bilingue specializzato nell’aiutare aspiranti studenti, soprattutto di nazionalità italiana e spagnola, come me.
Mi hanno aiutata inizialmente con l’application e successivamente mi hanno accompagnata fino al superamento della selezione. Ad agosto inizierò il mio corso in Health and Social Care, e il team continua ad essere sempre disponibile e presente.
Sono stata seguita da cinque ragazze, ognuna con un ruolo specifico: chi si occupava della documentazione per l’iscrizione, chi forniva tutte le informazioni sui test d’ingresso e organizzava le lezioni, e chi mi ha dato una spinta in più nella preparazione. Inoltre, la loro insegnante di inglese mi ha aiutata a sentirmi più sicura e disinvolta nella lingua.
Un supporto fondamentale è stato anche quello per la richiesta dello Student Finance e del Maintenance Loan. Inoltre, avendo avuto problemi con il mio laptop, mi hanno messo a disposizione un computer per poter sostenere i test di ingresso.
