My 11 year old enjoyed herself
My 11 year old daughter was the one driving, as a gift from her birthday. She really enjoyed the actual experience and the person supervising her made her feel at ease.
However, the car we had booked was not available, and they did not let us know in advance (they knew the night before), so we were given the option of choosing a different car or coming back another time. She chose a different car as we had travelled a long way, but it would have been nice to be informed ahead of our journey.
The attempts to upsell everything are irritating, especially given that we already had to pay extras just to get the day we wanted etc.
Overall, if money is no issue, I think it is a good experience.

It was a great day
It was a great day, lucky for us the rain stopped in the afternoon making the track conditions ideal for the cars.
The instructors were very friendly and made sure we were safe whilst out on track, and made sure you enjoyed your experience.

We had a fantastic day out! I bought this for my 10 year old son. He drove 3 cars and had the most patient friendly and professional drivers sitting alongside him. He had an absolute blast!

I initially purchased two three-car…
I initially purchased two three-car “anytime” driving experience packages for around £200.
Booking had to be completed by telephone and felt like a sales pitch from beginning to end. After adding insurance for both drivers, I was told that one chosen time was unavailable and that a car upgrade was required. I was also advised to add observer laps because the Ariel Atom was their first drive. This added roughly another £200.
The day itself was great, although the booking confirmation did not match what we had agreed over the phone. The check-in staff simply corrected it by hand. It soon became apparent that the time slots were not particularly full and the Atom could easily have been taken as their final drive. This left me questioning whether the paid car upgrade had ever really been necessary.
The driving experiences went very well and they both thoroughly enjoyed the morning. The main disappointment was the fast passenger lap in the Atom. Despite having fast-track tickets, they waited around 1 hour and 45 minutes and were repeatedly moved between different queues. Some staff members were excellent, while others were considerably less helpful.
When they finally had the Atom passenger ride, they were absolutely blown away by it. It was almost worth the wait, but not quite!
I would still recommend Everyman because the actual driving experience was excellent. However, the sales-heavy booking process, questionable extras and poor queue management mean I cannot give five stars.

We’re sorry that the booking process felt sales-focused and that the booking confirmation did not accurately reflect what you understood had been agreed over the phone. We appreciate your comments regarding the additional options and upgrades discussed during the booking process, and these will be shared with our Booking Team for review.
In relation to the allocation of the driving experiences, we use 30-minute booking slots alongside multiple criteria and event management considerations when planning our events. This allows us to manage the number of participants, vehicles and available driving slots throughout the day and helps us prevent our events from becoming overbooked. The availability of a slot later in the day does not necessarily mean that a particular vehicle can be moved into that slot, as the schedule is managed around a number of factors.
We’re also sorry to hear about the 1 hour and 45 minute wait for the Atom passenger ride and the repeated movement between queues, particularly as you had purchased fast-track tickets. We appreciate your comments regarding the queue management and communication on the day, and these will be passed to the relevant event team for review.
We really appreciate your recommendation despite these frustrations and are delighted that the actual driving experiences were such a success. The experience was majorly overbooked…
The experience was majorly overbooked meaning ridiculous waiting times. When I asked a staff member she was apologetic and did say they were trying to get another car, but after a further long wait we were then informed there was no way my son would get his turn in his picked car before they had to stop. He swapped to a different car, not out of choice but necessity. A lively lady tried her hardest to help as many people as possible but you can see it was impossible for her as the experience was just so overbooked. Also make sure you are aware that when booking the experience you will then have to pay extra for insurance, any car upgrades and they are continuously trying to sell more all the time. A present I thought would cost about £80 nearly ended up costing £200. Not sure I would ever book one of these again which is unfortunate as my son did enjoy the rides when he eventually got them.

6 car drives and a hot lap!
The 6 car drives and hot lap were unbelievably good. The instructors were clear, attentive and specific in their feedback. All the crew were friendly and seemed to enjoy being part of the day
I was disappointed that my slip recording my drives (car names, instructors names, scores) was taken at the photography tent - so had to take a photo of it for a momento.
The signposting to the venue could have been much better for those who didn't/couldn't use what-3-words.

Leicester venue
My 11 year old son had his driving experience at the Leicester venue. When we arrived the que to book in was massive we was stood waiting for over half an hour! When we had completed all of that he was shouted pretty quickly for his first car.. we then had to wait for nearly two hours for him to do his second. When I approached staff to query this the lady I was speaking with turned her back on me which I found to be really rude! there was another member of staff who was really helpful and got my son into his next car pretty quickly. The whole thing was very unorganised, we struggled to hear the staff shouting the names out (mega phones or something needed). When my older son did his experience we visited the prestwold venue which was so much more organised and a better venue overall. it’s a shame their no longer using this one for the junior drivers as we thought yesterday ruined my son’s experience due to all of the waiting around. There was people complaining left right and centre the only response people were getting was “sorry we’re two hours behind”. Wouldn’t return here.

Very comprehensive correspondence via email about booking confirmation with exact details of where when how etc
On the day the staff were all really friendly and helpful from the booking in areas to the drivers who were very understanding and supportive
The cars were mostly in good condition some wear and tear which is understandable
There were quite a few people at lydden hill when we went but the waiting time to drive the different cars was not too bad
the only criticism would be we were unsure how to see the photos taken of my husband in the cars he drove were they taken just for promotional purposes or would they be available for us to purchase?? (It was busy when we finished and nobody available to ask)!!
We really enjoyed the experience and will definitely book again in the future

driving/passenger experience
This team were very helpful prior to my arrival regarding changing my booking. On arrival at the venue the team were very helpful enthusiastic and professional checking us in. Then directing us to the driving area for the next part of check-in. The venue was beautifully presented and the area clean and accommodating. My driver John arrived to pick me up for the ride in the DB9. John was a very friendly presentable driver, he made the experieince full of fun and a truely great time. I loved every minute of it.
