Excellent Customer Service

I had a problem logging in to the website to set up autopay so contacted them through the website. The response from Val was swift and comprehensive, even extending to telling me exactly what I would see on each screen and what to click on. I was able to settle my issue completely. I have no experience of using the app but the response from customer service was excellent.

Payment machine would not read blue badge card…

After a recent issue with the payment machine I found the what’s app chat line very helpful and resolved the issue in our favour

We parked in an Evology car park two…

We parked in an Evology car park two nights ago 88829 Holts yard business centre Newcastle arriving at 18.31 and leaving 20.44

I didn’t have the app and as the machine was broken I downloaded it and tried to pay. We wanted to pay £1.00 for 3 hours as stated on the sign but the app wouldn’t allow me to choose and insisted on charging me £4.25 for a full day. This was the same for a number of other peolple including our daughter who had parked there earlier.
Because I didn’t want to pay £100 fine I paid this amount but the next day I tried contacting them on their WhatsApp chat.
I got an automated reply which said if you need more help txt “Help” which I did - No reply.
I emailed with all the details to the email contact - No reply.
They are obviously not a company to be trusted as they must make a fortune over charging a captive audience.

Extremely Poor Service – Charged Despite Paying for Parking

I am very disappointed with Evology Parking. I received a £60 parking charge even though I paid for my parking through the app multiple times on the same day.

I was at the hospital and paid three separate times, covering a total of 7 hours. The system is supposed to send a reminder when the parking time is about to expire, but I never received any SMS or email notification. It seems there was a system error. Even without a reminder, I still logged in and paid for additional time.

Despite this, I later received a parking charge. The letter doesn’t even show whether my payments were registered or considered.

I contacted Evology by email, but I have received no response at all.

This is unacceptable. The system failed, I still paid, and now I am being charged unfairly. Very poor customer service and unreliable app. I hope they resolve this issue and cancel the charge.

Scamers!!

Scamers!!! Charged more than supposed to, forced to pay “charity fee” it was pay on exit thing… stayed a 15 minutes only and was charged for an hour! Half an hour later I have received a text message that the parking session will expire in 15minutes?! I’ve tried messaging them several times no response whatsoever! Scammers!!!

The charity donation is completely optional; you're given two options (to donate or not) during your checkout when paying for parking.

Paid for parking in Saffron Walen and received parking fine for £100!

Paid for parking in Saffron Walden using the Evology 🅿️ app, the code for the parking area didn’t work, so manually typed in the code and my number plate, paid for a couple of hours, £3.10
Only to receive a parking charge notice reminder less then two weeks later for £100!!! WTF 🤬
Tried to reach out to Evology customer support on WhatsApp but not reply! Very poor customer experience and rubbish app that doesn’t share data with the Parking eye clearly! I am speaking against this charge!

I came to Lee Valley Ice Centre in…


I came to Lee Valley Ice Centre in London today for my daughter’s skating competition after driving 130 miles. It should’ve been a proud and exciting day — instead it turned into a disaster thanks to the EV charging situation here.

The only chargers available are from Evology, and they are utterly useless. I tried FIVE different chargers — yes, FIVE — and every single time £20 was frozen on my account, only for the session to fail. Over and over again. No charging, no refund, just money blocked each time.

I literally watched my bank balance drain while getting absolutely nothing in return.

No help. No support. No working chargers.
Just stress, wasted time, and a completely ruined day.

By the end I had no money left in the account to even try again — all because this place can’t provide functioning chargers. I had to worry more about whether I could get home than enjoy watching my daughter compete.

If you drive an electric car, DO NOT rely on this place.
They’ve made it EV-friendly in appearance only — in reality, it’s a trap.

Totally unacceptable in 2025. I won’t be coming back.

The Evology App is not fit for purpose

The Evology App is not fit for purpose. It's caused me so much
Anxiety me and my wife enjoyed
Walking our dog at Clayton hill
Waltham Abbey and met our daughter with her dog,but since
The evology parking took over
It doesn't work properly on app
We're both pensioners and very
Nervous about getting Pcn
So today again worst then ever
App not responding.
So I will no longer be parking

Awful for Mattioli Arena

Whilst I didn’t have any issues with paying via the app, the Mattioli Arena isn’t listed and it took me a while to find the venue. Instructions to find the parking were non existent and physically finding the car park was impossible. No lighting, no directions - the whole experience was awful. The venue would be best to use a different service!!

Just tried paying for parking via the app, it won't accept the location number shown on the parking sign. Tried contacting them via the WhatsApp and contract us details with no response!
What's the betting they now issue a PCN! This company is ridiculous. Last time I ever use one of their carparks

Terrible App

I've used the other parking apps for many years and, whilst they used to have issues, most are now fairly user friendly.

Not so for Evology. We were obliged to use it whilst in a car park in Scotland at an EV charging station. It wasn't made clear if we needed to pay whilst charging but we decided to pay the few quid rather than risk a fine.

Simply awful App, awful set up, crashed, didn't fit the phone screen, buttons hidden, payment options and systems unclear etc... My phone is a Samsung S23 Ultra, not a 10 year old, unsupported or unusual device so it should "just work".

I'll now delete my account (the company had better respond to my request for that or I'll contact the data protection folk), then delete the App and never park anywhere where I would have to use Evology again.

I hear that the whole parking app shambles is going to be addressed, so that we are able to use a preferred App in any parking situation rather than being forced to use a specific and useless one. Bring it on!

Payment not taken

Went to a bolton match on 8th November and I was already registered with evology. I updated my card payment and have been waiting 5 days for the transaction to show.
I have tried WhatsApp and their web contact form but no response!
Is this a sneaky way to try and fine customers for non payment I wonder!

Park at the carpark for well under the minimum of 3hrs for £5, get back to the car, download the app to pay for the parking, but the payment won't go through so try to contact via Whatsapp, email, calling them and absolutely no reply...WHAT ELSE DO I RUDDY WELL DO!!!

A week later i get a letter with a £100 letter because i didnt pay! WELL MAYBE IF YOU SORTED OUT YOUR PAYMENT SYSTEM AND ACTUALLY RESPONDED THEN THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED....INSTEAD YOU SCAM YOUR CUSTOMERS FOR £100 AND SAY NOTHING!!! ABSOLUTELY FUMING!!!

I WILL NEVER EVER BE USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND I HOPE THAT AS MANY PPL AS POSSIBLE SEE THIS AND DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Terrible app and terrible experience using it and parking with it - costly and feel like I’ve been completed fleeced

Terrible app and service - overly complicated, quick to take the money and slow to release from car parks (in fact we had to get someone else to help from neighbouring hotel)

No response to help button at car park and nothing but bots on the app. A truly dreadful and expensive experience that ensures we will be deleting their app and steering well clear of ever using them again. They couldn’t have made it much more confusing, protracted and expensive for very very poor return. Avoid!

Further details sent to Evology as requested below over a week ago no reply says it all really - very poor service all around

Over a month later since Evology pretended to show interest in my complaint and having submitted the detail requested not a thing. Purely cosmetic. Shocking app and experience

First time...and last time

Used it for the first time today...it will be my last. Sign said £4 for up to 4 hours, (First 2 hours free). I was parked for about 1.45 mins and it cost me £4.75.

Fully occupied car park even though pre booked through the app

I pre booked a parking spot near the train station. The car park was fully occupied when I got there. I managed to find another car park but I have almost missed my train due to the parking situation. When I contacted the car park to claim my money back they advised to contact Evology, but Evology hasn’t come back to me since. Terrible service and unacceptable business approach.

Evology is absolutely useless

good2go worked seamlessly and perfectly without any issue
Since it moved to Evology its a flaming nightmare with account not found or log in problems even immediately after changing password
You cannot speak to anyone, contact is a bot on whatsapp thats about as much use as a chocolate teapot or a contact form - none of which helps anyone with a parking issue without risk of overpayment or penalty charges - which I guess is their aim lately.
