Avoid this company

They moved three piece suite from Darlington to Stockport. I used Shiply site and chose them as price cheapest. I paid deposit via secure Shiply site and rest was cash on delivery. They agreed the dates I requested. Confirmed via email and texts. Day before gave us three hour slot and on day text 37 mins before. Helped place suite in living room too. Would definitely use them again and thoroughly recommended.

This is a remarkable transport company/courier. I bought an oven on eBay, in Darlington, and this company delivered it to north Surrey in three days. They communicated immediately they had the order, gave me a schedule that they kept, delivered it bang on time and kept in touch throughout. I highly recommend them.

The delivery was of a vintage leather armchair and foot stool. The driver and his assistant moved the items with great care, expertly maneuvering the chair through a narrow hallway. They were both friendly and polite throughout.
I was kept informed of the estimated delivery time and was called when they arrived.

Okay, I don’t know how this company is in delivering other items, but do not ask them to deliver a piano. The tracking was okay, but when the two delivery guys arrived, they just made it to the front door (we have three steps), looked at me under the rain (all the rain on the poor piano) and told me “we can’t do it, it’s too heavy”. They were clearly under equipped to do the job, one of them was wearing plastic slippers instead of working boots and they did not have a proper trolley to do the job. I told them “what are you going to do, live it at the front door under the rain?” Obviously the whole situation was ridiculous and they knew it, so they used the whatever strength they found to ridiculously lift the poor piano, bang it everywhere and finally drop it on my doorway. They just stood there helplessly and I ask them “why do you deliver pianos? This is ridiculous” They just about made it to put the piano a few centimetres from the door and then I told them to leave as I didn’t want them to ruin the piano further more. Luckily I have a husband who regularly goes to the gym, he just put a long piece of cardboard under the piano and moved it to the living room. Anyway, the delivery was organised by the eBay seller so I had no idea that the delivery company wasn’t organised AT ALL for this particular job. Honestly, just ridiculous. This is my review.

Good communication throughout via text concerning delivery date and times throughout. I had expected delivery on 2 previous dates which didn't materialised but again where cancelled with notifications.
