My experience with Mr Ben Fisher has been great, it's like I'm working with a really great friend we argue about something even if we end up agreeing to disagree. Because when he is trying to tell me what is best and I just wanted to do it my way and he would say you have to trust your project manager. So I always end up giving in, and I'm always happy that he held his ground and convinced me to listen to my project manager.

They listened to m and my concerns and responded quickly and accurately in doing so. I am very pleased with the end result

had an awful experience and wasted money to publish a book, which has been nothing but a hassle. Working with this company is far from enjoyable. They either run a scam or are staffed with incompetent people who argue with you. They’ll send the same material after a week with minor changes, completely ignoring any feedback you provide. Meanwhile, you’ll keep getting calls from different salespeople pushing various services. These salespeople listen to your concerns, act like they’ll address them, but there’s no follow-up afterward.

I had no idea that I would ever be able to write a book. Until I contacted this company and they assured me that I could, and helped me immensely through the entire process.
Expanding greatly on the information that I sent them in ways. I would have never thought of. They also developed the cover of the book which I loved when I saw it.

I’ve just been published with my first children’s book! I’m so happy and relieved. This was a very long and difficult process, definitely not for the faint of heart, this requires a strength of spirit that truly I didn’t think I had but it grew with each obstacle I faced. Mikhail David my Project Manager was amazing, he never gave up and he kept the momentum going when I was ready to give up! Every one I spoke to was kind and helpful in the process. I appreciate everything you've done it took a while to get completed and there were some mistakes that were made but you did complete it and you did finish it and it was now published it took a while to get published and the other books you published as well did a good job on I just would like you too knowledge that you will give me my books that I paid for and that you will take care of my website and put my books on the website as you said you would thank you so much for your help I really appreciate it Shawn Jackson

So far I've had a pretty good experience. Communication is great, involvement is great, if there was any place for improvement I'd say the editing needs to be more thorough. Overall, very happy.

A waste of time and money.
This company is a complete sham. I have been trying to get them to do any work promised me. Other publishers stated my length of book should have taken 4-6 months to complete. It has been approximately 18 months, and I have just completed editing! Which I did 85% of it myself. Their 'Senior Editors' have come and gone at least six times now. Never with prior notice to me. Nor with my permission. Their 'editing' skills are barely high school level. It took four months for them to edit the first eleven pages of my book. It took four months to edit the last eleven pages. Then I had to 'fix' my story because they had doubled up paragraphs or for some reason, took them and put paragraphs in new spots. I had to 'fix' the story back to how I submitted it. They changed and ruined the ending of my story. I had to rewrite it and resubmit it.
These people have lied to me 70+ times. gotten nothing done as promised, ever. Now, I haven
t heard from them for five weeks. I will be litigating them if I do not receive a refund.
Go find a real publisher. These people just put you off over and over.
I could go on and on. This company has also broken my heart and destroyed my barest expectations. I have completed two other books. I will go somewhere else for my next project.

My experience here at Excel Book Writing has been great. Ben Fisher & Dustin Brown who are my project and marketing manager have shown be great success and great work. Currently my book is in the works and I’m very satisfied with it. I would definitely recommend anyone to go to Excel if they’re looking forward to publish a book.

My book is published and I'm satisfied with the package I purchased. I see negative reviews about clients but then again everyone has their perspective of working. David Basley and his team gave me satisfaction as I was told when I signed up with the company.

I purchased a package from excel book writing to help me publish my book. I also purchased a advertising/promoting package for the book. They took significantly longer than they said it would take to do the book. Then they didn't do anything to promote the book. They finally agreed to give me my money back for the advertising package, but I have only received $1000.00 of the $5500 I paid them. It has been over a year since they signed a contract stating they will give me the money back, and I am now having to take them to small claims court in Chicago. Do not waste your time and money. This has been the biggest headache of my life!

Excel helped to make my dream of becoming a children’s author a reality . Thank you so much Dustin for all your kindness and support . How could I have been so trusting...for so long...after so much waiting. True, my manuscript was finally packaged as a book. True, it did go to Amazon. And that is the end of the positive experience with Excel. I should not have agreed to a website...it was simply made through GoDaddy and I paid royally for the Website domain name. I actually gave them money for ink and paper because the publishing of the book was going to be 'amazing'. I was promised 300 books plus 10 hard cover books just because I was the author. No...it didn't happen. And I gave them a lot of money. But...they promised the books would arrive on my doorstep. I am still trying to accept the fact that they have already forgotten who I am. Please don't use this company.

I began my relationship with Excel, almost two years ago. The people with whom I first worked are no longer a part of the 'team' and I moved on to a working relationship with Brandon and David. Both individuals were most pleasant to work with and David professionally corrected some significant errors previous co-workers had made. I was encouraged to (with haste) pay for a domain name as the timing was crucial. This individual also attempted to develop a website which was a disaster...and David corrected.
The biggest problem was the length of time it took to move from one step to another. There was always a reason why the book was not developing. Brandon became involved, and again, he was a most pleasant individual with whom to work.
I was requested to pay (and I have the contract) for both paper and ink. I was told that the quality of the book would be amazing because of this request. But...nothing happened. David and I worked on the book, page by page. I was pleased with his completed project. It was at this point that everything stopped. There was one excuse after another...they said changes were being made with the publisher. They said that because of these changes they were delayed in producing my book. The initial contract was for me to receive 10 (ten) hard cover books simply because I was the author. Another member of the team, Alice, and I discussed the books that would be available for sale. She would keep 250 and I would receive, at my home, 50 books.
Nothing happened!!! NO BOOKS for which I paid $$$$$ We had phone calls. I was nice and then I was not very nice. I was frustrated and angry...and so disappointed. I am not one of the 'well known or famous' authors but to me, my book was/is important. This was my second book
to be published. David promised the books would be available. Brandon promised the books would be available. I began to make scheduled events...the local book store, two particular groups. The library wanted to buy books for their shelves and to have a program. I received letters from three individuals who became aware of my book on FaceBook and they were so complimentary. One of those individuals tried to order ten additional copies. My website would not allow the customers to receive the books they ordered but their credit cards were charged. Brandon somehow saw to it that at least one of the customers received the ordered books. I don't know about the other individual.
I still had NO books of my own and finally ordered THREE copies from AMAZON. It was the only way I could get a book!!!!!
I am not able to carry on with scheduled events to promote the books and I would need to order numerous copies from AMAZON. I have already paid for books...300 of them.
I told either Brandon or David that my book looked good and they replied that "Just wait until you see the difference in one printed through Excel!" We began the discussion about the books arriving probably in February...then I was promised by the end of the next month...and on and on we went.
I am a pretty kind individual but finally I told Brandon and David that I would seek out an attorney ... BUT I was told that the books would be on their way soon. They promised!!!!! How many times I heard that!! We promise to have them there soon.
I liked working with them. I trusted them. I was proud of my book. BUT...I HAVE NO BOOKS!!!!! I promptly paid for everything along the way. AND I HAVE NO BOOKS!
Creating a review was an avenue I could afford in trying to resolve this challenging situation. I just want the 300 + 10 hard cover books. I even challenged David that I thought I deserved 20 hard cover books in addition to the 300 for sale.
Thank you for taking my review into consideration. I appreciate the work Brandon and David did but now I expect to see the fruits of my labor.
I would request that the 300 books be sent to my home address, no shipping charge, along with the books I am entitled to as the author.
David and Brandon...thank you for your work but...the job isn't completed yet. I JUST NEED MY BOOKS.

This is to review my experience with my project manager Selena Martin. Selena notified me on February 26, 2024, that she would be in charge of my book project moving forward. She has always corresponded in a very professional manner and proceeded to move my project along for publication by the end of March. There were hurdles along the way, and together we persevered and my book project turned out to be the very colorful childrens book which I am very proud of. My story and the illustrations came together beautifully, after having a rocky start in December 2023. I'm very grateful to Selena Martin for her help on my book project.

I had a really nice experience as a first time author, I got Davin as my project manager along with Alister and they really helped me and walked me through everything, definitely would suggest them as project managers for anyone new signing up.

I found Excel Book Writing, as well as my Project Manager Seth, to be diligent, trustworthy, and prompt. They made the editing/publishing experience smooth and I am happy to see my writing out there due to their hard work. I will have more books in the future, and plan to publish with Excel again when the time comes.

They made my story come to life ♥️♥️♥️ David was my project manager he was really amazing with his work and was always on time with what he committed.. I spent $20,000 for my book writing and publication and with that I purchased marketing, it has been 6 months and I have already covered up my money and still making more...
They are Amazing and will always recommend them to others ♥️♥️♥️♥️

I had a completely horrible experience. They told me they would finish the ebook by the Olympic games, but they failed miserably. They sent me a file with several thousand hard returns randomly inserted and were unable to fix it. I went to Fivrr and had the work done in 4 hours for under $50. They promised deliverables and not one time did they meet their own timelines. Either they lie or they are useless - take your pick. They took $500 for an ISBN and refused to refund me when they took too long with the draft and I got an ISBN for free from the government. They ripped me off, refused to refund and stole my money. Stay away from these people. Go to Fivrr or any other publishing firm and save yourself money and heartache. They missed my deadline for the Olympics after telling me 10 times that they were going to meet the timeline. Bait and switching liars. One star is too much for these crooks.

This company is a scam. I agreed to a contract in 2022 to have a book completed in 4 months. In August 2024, I still don't have a book completed. Every time they call me, they want more money to complete the book. Please, please, please don't waste your time or money on this scheme. Find a real publishing company to write your book.
