Exterior Building Solutions Avis

Our roof was an absolute mess before Liam and John got hold of it. The amount of work they put in was obvious from the minute they turned up (early!) — hard-working, reliable and took real pride in what they were doing. What impressed us most was not just the quality of the job, but how much care they took cleaning everything afterwards. They genuinely left the place better than they found it.

Exceptional standard of work, great communication throughout the day, and two genuinely decent guys to deal with. The company is busy, but wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Exterior Building Solutions to anyone needing roofing work done.

Just had my roof done. Cleaned one day with great results and painted the next. Now looking great. James Drummond and his buddy did great in roasting weather and then left the place spotless. Went over it all with me before they left. First class workmanship and customer care.

Good job done by the EBS team. Came promptly at the arranged date. John and his team worked well and cleaned up perfectly despite their cleaning was very messy. No complaints there. Ryan and his men coated the roof and it looks great. Very pleased.

As the roof on our end terrace house was badly covered in moss, it was my intention to get it all cleaned this year, and by chance a man was doing door to door visits in my area.
I agreed to an appointment with a sales manager who was called Stephen, who came to the house and discussed what and how things would be done and left us with a price, which to be honest, I was pleasantly surprised with.
Due to other things that I and my wife were dealing with, I did not commit to the work until about a week later.
Roof cleaning, tile repairs as required, followed by the roof coating.
Roof was cleaned on 26/3/26 and coating applied on 13/4/26 and can honestly say the guys (never got their names) carried out a great job.
Tidy workers and respected your property.
Would highly recommend to anyone.
Thanks once again.

Three workmen came & did an excellent job. They were very polite & professional. I am very pleased with their work & would highly recommend them.

Had our roof powered washed and repairs done and resealed. Cannot recommend enough the team from the salesman to the guys that did the work were amazing great job. Cleaned up everything behind them. Well done and thank you .

We don’t engage cold callers, but a representative from Exterior Building Solutions approached us while we were leaving. Given our property’s need for roof and rough cast repairs, we decided to give them a chance. Despite a family crisis on the day of an initial meeting, Kenny their sales rep was very understanding. There was absolutely no pressure, he suggested rescheduling. This was a rare positive experience in today’s pressured world!

A few weeks later, we contacted EBS again and re-started the process. Kenny explained our options, their product range, and made recommendations. We had done our homework and agreed on a reasonable price before proceeding.

In today’s world of counterfeit products, there’s always a lingering suspicion that we’re all being deceived. This paranoia proved to be completely groundless!

We hired EBS for a comprehensive exterior building de-moss, algae/lichen biocide treatment, general clean, tile replacement/gutter cleaning and rough cast restoration coating.

Their meticulous attention to detail, care, and professionalism were exceptional from the start to the end of the project.

They expertly masked all windows and ensured a high standard of cleanliness and finish. All aspects of their work was thorough!

We highly recommend EBS and are delighted with the fresh and revitalised appearance of our 26-year-old home.

Very professional. Excellent work done on our roof, really pleased with the look and work was carried out in 2 days. The guys were nice and polite and tidied up behind them. Price reasonable

We had our roof cleaned and protected by EBS Solutions Edinburgh. They carried out the work in one day starting at 8am sharp. They placed protective sheets around the house before staring and worked non stop throughout the day. Cleaned up after cleaning the roof before they started the protective coating. They were very professional throughout even though a neighbour was being difficult. On completion they walked around with us to make sure we were satisfied.

Brilliant job completed of our house and garage roofs
Two guys Liam and John couldn't do enough to please.
EBS should be proud of the job they have done

From the guys turning up at the door to Brian in Sales and all the guys involved, I think this is the most polite and professional company I’ve come across for a long time. Not pushy, not taking up your time trying to hard sell and they were very accommodating and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend.

I was very impressed by the professionalism and quality of the work carried out on my roof. James and Scott arrived on time and cracked on without a break until the work was done. Their preparation by laying groundsheets before and washing down surfaces after the work was first class. Our roof was absolutely covered in moss and lichen and some of the tiles needed replaced. It's now like a new roof.
The initial survey carried out by Kenny Service was detailed and the price agreed was reasonable considering the size and condition of the roof.

Very professional and courteous from start to finish.

We are totally delighted with EBS and our new look home.
Such professionalism and reassurance from the outset from the surveyor Ross. And a great clean, and fabulous render from Ryan and his 2 colleagues (apologies, I have forgotten your names), who justifiably took enormous pride in their work.
The exterior of our house has been transformed and we know it's going to last. Thank you all, and to Julia who did the money. Everyone of you is a gem.

Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable regarding what our property needed.

I would highly recommend this company for any work needing done to your home or business.

My wife and I have been very impressed by EBA and its staff from the initial call at the door through the surveyors’s visit to the work on our roof being completed.
Liam and Johns did our work and we have nothing but praise for them. They arrived when they said they would and kept us informed regarding work being done when the weather was against them.
They were very hard and good workers. They protected both our property and our neighbours’ garden and driveway. Where they also excelled was in the standard of cleaning up each day once they were finished.
In all good service, great workers and an excellent job.

I recently had External Building Solutions clean, repair, and treat my roof, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, the team (Liam & John) were professional, friendly, and incredibly thorough. They took the time to explain what needed done, kept me updated throughout the process, and delivered work of outstanding quality.
My roof and porch canopy look as good as new, and the treatment they applied has given me real peace of mind for the long term. The difference before and after is incredible. Liam & John were punctual, hard‑working, and left everything spotless when they were finished.
If you’re looking for a reliable, honest company who take real pride in their work, I’d absolutely recommend External Building Solutions. Excellent service and great value for money!

I had rendered part of a wall. I needed to get it painted as it didn’t all maych. EBS knocked at door by chance. They gave a reasonable quote, so I decided to use them. Corben and coworker finished job today, at end November. They apply with pump and product application works below freezing. Looks great. Time will tell how it lasts but looks like a good thick coat and should allow some movement.

Very professional job from start to finish. Ryan and Sean turned up on time and started immediately, preparing the ground and area, cleaning and repointing was great and tidied up whole area before returning next day to complete painting.
Neighbours have commented on their work ethic and the finished work.
Would recommend company to others.
