FEMME FATALE FINISHES Avis

Kate re painted some dark wood furniture that was dated. They have now got a new lease of life and look modern and chic. Excellent quality finish exceeded our expectations and really pleased we found her business.

Femme fatale have done a superb job on our dining room furniture. This is the third job that they have done for us and like the previous two the dining room table and chairs looks splendid.

Kate arrived very promptly and started work on our kitchen diner table which got water damaged with a leak we had. It was in quite bad condition but Kate restored it to its natural beauty over a period of a few days. Her work and respect for our table and home was second to none. She masked paper everywhere the stain and lacquer may have touched. Great job. Very professional and we would definitely recommend and use Kate again in the future. Thank you very much Kate

Kate is very professional and reliable. She made the whole process easy and the results are fantastic! She has transformed our dated mahogany furniture and tired dresser into beautiful pieces of furniture again. Her care for her work is exceptional, fully recommend, look no further.

Kate upcycled x 2 bedside cabinets for me. She was very timely, they are a lovely colour & great finish. Really pleased with the result, huge improvement & would definitely recommend & hope to come back when I get around to my kitchen.

We were recommended to use Femme Fatale by a family member and have been highly delighted with not just the finished items, but the whole process from initial enquiry to delivery of our lightened furniture to our home. Kate is a very friendly expert in furniture restoration and is keen to make sure she delivers the finished product you are wanting. We were highly delighted with our furniture, which Kate was able to lighten just as we wanted it to be. She was happy to work to our timescale and returned our items exactly as she said she would. We will be using Kate again for other items we would like to be updated and have no hesitation in recommending Femme Fatale to anyone wanting furniture to be restored.

Kate managed to transform a tired and worn writing bureau back to showroom condition. Taking great care and skill, she stripped, sanded, cleaned and polished it to beyond expectations! I wholeheartedly recommend Kate, you will not be disappointed. Thank you!

Kate has restored two (2) items of furniture which belonged to my grand parents and I have to say that they were returned to my wife and self looking better than I have ever seen them. A superb and professional lady with prices to compliment her services.
Well done Kate
Luv ya

Kate did a wonderful job renovating our mid century dining table. It looks fabulous now. Friendly and efficient service. Thanks a million !

Kate has revived a few pieces of our furniture over the last few months. She breathes life back into old, drab furniture in a way that I can only describe as magical. We are so impressed with her skill and professionalism and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.
Pure magic!

Kate returned to do additional work on the bannister. Once again a top job by a top craftsperson. Enough said.

Kate did a beautiful job on my mums old cabinet and draws, they are now looking like new and have once again taken pride of place in the house. A big thank you

10 stars! Kate sanded and finished both a bedroom floor (Floorboards) and a very awkward Bannister (covered in years of old stain/paint and grime). I couldn't be happier with the results of both. Exceptional local talent who I wouldn't hesitate to employ again due to her attention to detail, care taken over both jobs, and the amazing results. Very friendly, very professional, great advice, honest straightforward and competitive pricing. I've recommended to friends and family. Thanks Kate for all your hard work

Kate did a fantastic job of sanding and varnishing my rather tired floor. It looks like new! Thank you

Fabulous renovation of our 70’s danish teak dining table. The table was badly marked with water damage, Kate has worked her magic and returned the table beautifully smooth and revived, it looks amazing. Would throughly recommend!

Kate restored our pine table to a wonderful colour and finish
We would recommend them to anyone

Kate makes your dream idea come true,so friendly and keeps to the timetable.I am so so pleased. I contacted her to update a very dated sideboard and everyone cannot believe how she has transformed it, unbelievable I'm just so happy with it Thankyou.

Kate’s work is amazing and so is she! She transformed a very dark bookcase for us into one much more in keeping with our home, together with a lamp table/magazine rack. Her work is of a very high standard and she cares about what she does. Kate is so very friendly and a pleasure to be with. I can highly recommend her.

Kate did such a beautiful job restoring our Edwardian walnut wardrobe. She stripped the wood and refinished it in its natural colour so that it's now possible to see all the grain of the wood. It's gorgeous and we are so pleased. Thank you so much Kate.

Kate restored a supper table for us: it had been well-loved for many years and looked rather tired. The restoration was perfect. As we were having building work done, Kate kept the table until we had a safe room for its return and then delivered it back to us. Her craftsmanship is excellent and her prices are incredibly reasonable. We've since had two more pieces of furniture repaired and she's agreed to return when all the building work is complete and do any touching-up which is needed. She's a real find!
