I spoke to most people on the team and felt they knew who i was and the stage of my sale I felt the company is honest and cares about their clients. I felt that I was communicated with in a timely fashion and my frustrations were understood. The feedback I received at the valuation of my house respected my feelings on parting with it. It was tough going at times but it is recognised as the most stressful thing you can do. And it is Thank you Fenn Wright

Professional supportive service. All went smoothly from offer accepted to completion. We were kept updated throughout and any questions were quickly answered.

To begin with we were disappointed that we had so few interested parties and felt that maybe more could have been done to promote the property.
However, once we had sold, Kirsty and her team could not have been more helpful. We were kept informed of progress on at least a weekly basis. Unfortunately our vendors pulled out at Exchange and Kirsty personally did everything she could to keep our buyers .
We found a different property and were fully supported all the way until completion.
We finally moved on October 31st and thank everyone concerned who helped us through our stressful experience.
Property mis-description, such poor service and attitude
I have recently purchased a property through this outfit, something I will never repeat again following this experience!
For some further clarity, I also own a national property company selling hundreds of houses a months and dealing with estate agents across the whole country, hence I feel strongly enough to write this review.
Prior to exchange we stumbled across mis-descriptions within their listings online. They have clearly stated ‘space for’ items that are going and not for items that are staying, makes complete sense yes…..well no!! That doesn’t seem to follow suit with Fenn wright listings so we are advised. They have clearly listed an item in their description outside including kennels and overground pool, the kennels aren’t going but apparently the over ground pool is, who would ever know that from the description which states exactly; “ The main garden is found between the cottage and annexe with lawns and pathways enclosed by post and rail fencing. There is an overground swimming pool and a kennel building”
It’s clearly property mis descriptions with the agent not having a leg to stand on. I now have an upset child to add to the woes of this appalling purchase process.
This coupled with a sales progressor in K****y who was super keen on aborting the sale at every turn, I was asked 5 or 6 times during the process if I wanted to pull out of the sale, with her abrupt and rude attitude throughout. There were occasions where the sales progressor was not in and different information was advised that may or may not have been correct. The sales progress or also not in as many words laid claim on colleagues for this mis informed updates. All in all it was a shambles and took forever. Fenn wright had no care for me as a purchaser along the journey which was extremely disappointing and worrying at times.
I have now raised a formal complaint and will look to escalate this to the property ombudsman for a satisfactory outcome.
Just to top this off, my wife collected the keys today from the Stanway office and was treated so poorly she left upset from the shear rudeness of the staff that handed (threw) the keys over. Beyond rude!!!

Simply Fantastic.
From the start, Paul valued our home and gave realistic expectations, Sarah then arranged viewings, which were quickly successful.
We then found a property which happened to also be for sale with FW, so it was incredibly easy to deal with both a sale and purchase - the purchase process was dealt with by Adam, who was a really friendly guy, with excellent service - when it came to the final stages of negotiation for purchase, in stepped Kirsty - who literally got the deal done rapidly, and was in constant contact throughout the process, weekly, or often more updates throughout the sale and purchase, communication an absolute strong point, and it helps that she was a lovely person to talk to also.
When we viewed the property we purchased, the lady was absolutely great, very friendly and let us view in our time, no pressure, no rushing.
All in all, we are so glad we chose Fenn Wright, it's no surprise we see their sold boards up around Colchester! They are simply fantastic!

My review is for Fenn wright and a specific land lord.
After 5 years on a flat, crayon marks, 4 nails , 2 lightbulb and 10cm of silicon bathroom mould ended in a charge for check out of 320£ which went down to 262£ .

Fenn wright were the 3rd estate agent we used after 2 unsuccessful ones. I wish we'd gone to them first! Kirsty & her team from the stanway office were the ones to eventually make our move complete. She was constantly keeping us updated on what was a very stressful move. She was friendly & approachable whilst still being professional. She clearly knows her stuff & worked very very hard to make it come together. I will actually miss not talking to her now we are moved! She restored my faith in estate agents & I would highly recommend her & her team.

This purchase was extremely taxing for everyone involved & made more complicated by having 2x first time buyers buying 2 separate properties. Without the expertise of Kirsty holding it all together this sale would not have happened. She kept us fully informed of the good & sometimes bad news at all times & was doing the job of the solicitors by liaising with all the other agents involved in this chain. We can’t thank Kirsty & her team enough for helping us especially when she worked during her holiday with her family to ensure that the exchange & completion on the same day happened. Thanks again Kirsty you were awesome.

In March I put my apartment on the market with them, initially I was very impressed with their enthusiasm however I didn't get any viewings. The agent suggested I reduce the price, which I did, quite substantially. In total I had 4 unsuccessful viewings & they said I might have to re-consider lowering the price yet again. I decided to take the property off the market to return to the rental market. However I was contacted by another local estate agent who said they had interested parties but cannot market the property as I was silly & signed a 16 week sales contract with Fenn Wright, so even though I have withdrawn from the sales market with Fenn Wright, they refuse to terminate the contract until the end date in July and therefore I am stuck, which makes no sense at all to me. I have Stage 4 terminal cancer so time is an important factor to me.
