Disappointing Quality and Customer Service
I have purchased some gorgeous decorative pillows from this brand in the past and have always been extremely happy with the quality. Because of those positive experiences, I later purchased several plates and a salad bowl from the Mexican Fiesta collection, expecting the same standard.
Unfortunately, after only a couple of months of normal use, three out of the six plates and the salad bowl started to chip heavily. The chipping is consistent across multiple items and, in my opinion, points to poor quality or manufacturing rather than isolated damage. This was particularly surprising given the premium positioning of the brand and the carefully curated image it promotes.
What disappointed me even more was the customer service experience. When I raised my concerns and provided photographs, I felt dismissed and was met with negativity. I was told that the images were somehow not relevant to the issue, which left me feeling that my concerns as a customer were not being taken seriously.
Whether purchased on sale or at full price, customers should still expect products to be fit for purpose and receive the same level of support. I had always believed this brand carefully selected and stood behind the quality of its products, which is why this experience came as such a surprise.
Sadly, not only have I been disappointed by the durability of the Mexican Fiesta plates and salad bowl, but also by the lack of care shown when I tried to resolve the matter. I genuinely feel that I have simply wasted my money. A premium shopping experience should extend beyond the point of sale, and unfortunately that has not been my experience here.
