First Charter Buses provided affordable and professional shuttle service for our conference in Eugene, Oregon, in April 2025. I had been looking specifically for a company offering school buses at a reasonable rate. I contacted 10 different companies—only about half responded, and most of those were far beyond our price range.
The drivers were friendly, flexible, understanding, professional, and above all, safe. Response times from the company were quick, and communication was easy. They were flexible with changing schedules, and customer service was very helpful. I worked with staff both via email and phone, and they were responsive and supportive through both channels.
When challenges arose, customer service, the drivers, and the hub all demonstrated great flexibility. The hub and drivers communicated effectively, making the process of switching drivers seamless and stress-free.
We would absolutely utilize First Charter Buses again and highly recommend them to others seeking dependable and cost-effective transportation services.

Busses arrived on time and the drivers were very friendly and helpful.

We had a clear shuttle schedule planned with First Student and the driver seemed unaware or hadn't read it. It was on the invoice for the rental and clearly stated we needed to have two shuttles two and from the field trip location. They also arrived 20 minutes later than the scheduled pick up time. This threw off our entire field trip and day. Over 70 kids were either late arriving or departing from their location. The driver did their best to help us correct the issue once it was identified but it was not great. Usually they are really good, but this time it was a really difficult experience with major headaches and challenges.

Chartered a bus for 12 hours per day for 12 days and the service was faultless with friendly reliable drivers

Cliff was an outstanding bus driver. He was very positive, warm and courteous. Our families had a very good experience riding the bus -- many of their children it was their first time.

The buses were decent and met our transportation needs. The only issue we had was the buses were a little late on the second pick-up. There wasn't any communication regarding this and I wasn't able to get in touch with anyone using the day of trip/after hours phone number. Otherwise a good experience.

I will be in contact on Monday. Extremely frustrated and disappointed. Lack of execution of our reservation caused a 45 min delay to our wedding because you forgot to pick up our guests from the hotels. Like I said, will be calling on Monday. Several guests were forced to Uber to wedding on their own dime because you forgot about them.

We booked this service for our wedding to pick up at a hotel then return to the hotel from the wedding venue. This service was a huge disappointment. The bus driver was not at all professional. She was late, asked the guests for directions, missed two turns, went the opposite direction of the venue, backed into a tree, and drove over a curb. Our guests were in distress and were late. My officiant was on the bus which caused my wedding to begin late. We do not recommend this service and intend to get a refund.

An entirely horrible experience.

The bus was very clean. The driver was on time and safely got us where we needed to go but could have been nicer/friendlier.
