I rented a bus from first charter to bring a bunch of friends to a concert on the 4th of July on Cape Cod. We have a wonderful experience and our drive - Beth - was the best!! The bus was perfect and she was on time for pickup and dropoffs. Thank you first charter!

We used First Charter Bus for our wedding in Plymouth, MA and unfortunately it was a disaster from start to finish.

Upon booking they require a card on file which is fine but we made it clear we'd pay by check. 3 weeks before our event we sent our check and it was cashed a few days later. 2 days before our wedding we got charged again for our total balance. We had to call them to refund our card which was inconvenient as we had many other things to deal with at that time and to add to it, our credit card statement closed so the charge/refund wouldn't just cancel each other out. But whatever not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

For our actual event, the buses DID NOT SHOW UP for the wedding party which as you can imagine, left us all very frazzled trying to get to the venue. They did however show up at the correct time/place for our guests staying at the hotel - which was more important. We contacted them the day after our wedding and they were nice enough to refund us more than we asked for. The refund was incorrectly put on our credit card rather than check (which again we paid by check) but at that point we didn't care about it, we were on our honeymoon and just happy they rectified our situation. 3 weeks later I get a VM and an email explaining they refunded us incorrectly and would have to re-charge our card and issue a check and to call us back to discuss. I responded to the email saying "do not charge card" but I wanted to make sure I spoke with a human we could set the record straight based on all the confusion we've already had to deal with.

Despite all of this frustration every person I spoke to on the phone was extremely nice and accommodating up until I spoke with someone named Kerry-Ann. She was snippy from the moment she called me. She kept barking that we were already refunded which was not the purpose of the call, so I had to re-explain the ENTIRE saga. It was a infuriating conversation, she kept cutting me off not allowing me to bring her up to speed on the actual/current problem. We left it that my card would not be recharged, great... but this was just a nightmare that would never end. For all of these reasons above, I am rating them 1 start.

So flexible and nice to work with. Bus driver waited patiently for the bride and groom at the end of the night and graciously took some photos as well! Would definitely recommend!

This experience was fantastic from beginning to end. Communication from First Charter leading up to our event was excellent, I was very clear on what to expect, and there were no hidden costs, etc.

On the morning of service our driver, Brie, text me letting me know she was monitoring traffic and would make sure to get to us on time. She arrive precisely when she was supposed to and was absolutely fantastic. I really can't say enough about her. She made our day so easy because I didn't have to worry about a thing. It was my daughter's wedding so there was plenty to keep me busy, having one less thing to think about was so helpful!

Lastly, the bus was very clean, very well maintained, and got us from point a to point b and back without a hitch!

I won't hesitate to use First Charter in the future if needed!
