They seem to think that 'service' is taking money to do nothing, then to feed you with Guff to take even more money to do even more nothing.
Do not waste your time and money on this disingenuous company.
Their response is merely more tosh.
I waited a week for the phone call they promised.
However, no call was received.
I did however, receive a demand for a direct debit.
STEER WELL CLEAR OF THIS 'COMPANY'.

As a small business owner venturing into the complex world of Search Engine Optimisation, selecting a reliable agency can be a crucial step towards success. Unfortunately, my experience with FirstFound was anything but successful. Here’s why I would urge caution to any other business considering their services.
Consistency and Professionalism Lacking
One of the most glaring issues with FirstFound was the lack of consistency in account management. Throughout our engagement, we were shuffled between multiple account managers, each seemingly less acquainted with our business goals than the last. This constant change hampered any potential progress, as each new manager would take time to understand our needs, only to be replaced soon after.
Outdated Practices and Poor Recommendations
The consultancy appeared to be staffed by individuals clinging to outdated SEO practices, which did not translate well to the current digital marketing landscape. The recommendations provided were not only old-fashioned but often irrelevant to our specific industry needs. This disconnect suggests a fundamental lack of innovation and adaptability within their team.
Dubious Sales Tactics and Misleading Information
FirstFound’s approach to convincing us of their credibility was questionable. They employed tactics such as encouraging us to search for key phrases they were confident they ranked for. On several occasions, this method backfired, revealing their inability to perform even these orchestrated successes reliably. Such tactics not only undermined their credibility but also highlighted a penchant for deceptive practices.
Predatory Contractual Obligations
The financial aspect of our agreement with FirstFound was equally frustrating. The agency presented their prices without including VAT, which initially disguised the true cost of their services. Moreover, they locked us into a year-long contract with no option for early termination, leaving us bound to a service that was clearly not meeting our needs.
Lack of Effort and Customisation in Reporting
The reports provided were unprofessional and uninspired, consisting merely of Excel spreadsheets without any branding or bespoke insights. This lack of effort in reporting demonstrated a broader disinterest in genuinely fostering client success and showcased a minimalistic approach that failed to provide value.
Negative Impact on Business
Overall, engaging with FirstFound felt more detrimental than beneficial. The strategies implemented did little to improve our online presence and, in some cases, may have even damaged our standing on the internet. This outcome is particularly disheartening given the investment of time, resources, and trust we placed in their hands.
Final Thoughts
Concluding our engagement with FirstFound brought a sense of relief comparable to being freed from an onerous debt. My experience compels me to advise other small businesses, especially those new to digital landscapes, to steer clear of FirstFound. There are many more competent and honest SEO services available that respect their clients and deliver tangible results. Opt for a provider that values transparency, up-to-date practices, and tailored strategies that align with your specific business objectives. Your business deserves better.

100% recommendation for FirstFound. My website has been operating for many years, and it has not been possible to find it on Google unless my surname was included in the search. I therefore instructed FirstFound on an initial one-year contract. Mariam immediately worked on my website, after studying my business specialisation. She then recommended additional content, applied the changes, carried out Search Engine Optimisation for keywords, and set up Google Search Console. She reports to me monthly on how statistics for my website are improving. We expect my website to appear on the first page of Google for my various areas of specialisation.
