Five Star Properties and Bliss Beach Rentals Avis 

House was very nice… furnishings very disappointing. The helicopters overhead every 10 minutes were so loud ! I won’t return to that area.

Great visit! Just a wasp problem out backs d it wouldn’t hurt to spray for mosquitos. Couch needs cleaned and baseboards need to be cleaned. But overall loved location near beach and pool.

We stayed in the Verona property and absolutely loved it! It exceeded expectations on all levels! Not to mention Five Star Properties was incredibly responsive and very professional! I would definitely rent from Five Star again, they are top notch!!

Nothing bad to say about working with Five Star Properties. Rental process was easy and they were there to help answer questions quickly along the way. Office staff were great to work with on the phone and we will absolutely rent through them in the future!

Semi True Story-Great house except for two things. The bunk room was only accessible thru iffy elevator (one of the doors was not easily closed) and then thru garage or going outside. This was not revealed thru the description which made it not so desirable for children. It would be a good idea to inform renters of this. Also, the description of bunk room said that each bunk has a flat screen tv. It does NOT have TVs in each bunk.
PLEASE update your description to keep from having disappointed visitors!

Rental company did not respond to questions posed prior to reservation. They also weren’t helpful with my effort to retrieve some items left behind in the house. But the house itself is a good option for a dog-friendly beach rental.

We’ve used Five Star Properties several times in the past for rental housing in the Destin, FL area and it remains our first place to go when looking for vacation rentals.

BALI ZEN
Bali Zen was not what I expected since I paid over 10 grand to stay here. First, they kept giving us the wrong codes to get into the house and we got in late. Then, we were told we can’t use the golf cart. Also the hot tub is colder than the actual pool and there is no switches for it. There were tons of bugs, cockroaches, the place wasn’t bombed. The toilet wouldn’t flush downstairs so we had to have a repair guy come and switch it out. There is no game room that was mentioned in the amenities previously. It was beautiful but was definitely not worth the price.

OUR STAY WAS PERFECT AND FIVE STAR SAW TO OUR EVERY NEEDS. THEY HAD ALL THE ROOMS SANITIZED AND THE HOUSE WAS VERY CLEAN. ANYTIME WE HAD TO REPLACE A PRODUCT , THEY WERE QUICK TO SEE TO OUR NEEDS.

This is the second time we rented from 5 STAR and the first time we had a great experience at a different location. This recent property was very disappointing. The unit did not feel clean, kitchen counter tops were sticky, the master shower had black spots on the tile, the carpet had stains in both bedrooms, a kitchen chair was broken and a chair on the balcony was also broken and could not be used. In addition the review that was on line was not for the unit we stayed in. The pics corresponded with 1407 but the reviews were for a unit that had stairs and could accommodate a large party. Very misleading!!!

This was our second stay at this fabulous home. We had a blast!!
Such an awesome property.
So basic maintenance is needed due to the amount of rentals.

Without looking back at years of vacation files, I can’t say for sure how many times we have rented from Five Star Properties, maybe for ten years, and maybe more. We have always received excellent service, enjoyed the amenities of beautiful vacation homes and will definitely rent from Five Star again! Five Star has an amazing assortment of executive vacation homes that far exceed what we have found through other rental companies. Thank you, Five Star, for your commitment to serving your clients well!

the home was immaculately clean and the team was quick to respond and resolve when needed! 3rd year with five star and they do not disappoint!

The house was perfect for 20 people & only a short distance from the beach, but set back away from it all. We relaxed in the pool in the morning while the sun was there & then hit the beach in the afternoon. Beach access was great & we always found a spot. We enjoyed using the comfy beach chairs & the bikes that were provided with the property. It was hard to tell in the VRBO room description, but there is a twin bunk bed up on the second floor master suite. Our only complaints would be that whoever claims the bedroom on the main floor off the kitchen either needs to be a heavy sleeper or likes to stay up late & get up early. Sound travels easily from the kitchen & the family room to that bedroom so when our 19 year old boys stayed up late playing poker, so did the people sleeping in that room. And when the breakfast club got up & started using the kitchen, it typically woke them up as well. Also, the king bedroom closest to the pool on the ground floor does not have a closet or an ensuite bathroom so we had to share closets & bathrooms. It worked out ok, but could be a little inconvenient. The pool did get dirty after a full week of use & there were a few awkward boards on the pool deck that you have to get used to so you don’t trip over them. The access to the pool from all decks was very convenient. Lastly, the refrigerator is huge, but there is not a lot of refrigerator space for 20 people. We had to keep most of our drinks in coolers so we could fit our food in the fridge. We did make meals almost every night though so we had a lot of food in there. We had a few glitches during our stay, but Five Star always sent someone to resolve them. All in all, we had a great time at The Great Escape!

Coconut Cove is a good property, in good condition overall. Appliances (refrigerator freezer) have some broken shelves. Still usable and adequate. Icemaker was messed up but they had a separate freezer to use for purchased ice or whatever you needed to put in it. The pool was great, cleaned twice during the week. East facing house had pool shaded by 4pm. We had 10 kids, 8 and under so shade came pretty quickly after nap time, no sunburns!
Company is good to work with. Would stay at their properties in the future including this one. BTW, check in is 4pm not any earlier. Made arrangements the first day a bit challenging but it understandable with a short turn between guests.

We have used Five Star Properties and Bliss Beach Rentals for several years. Our family continues to use this rental service for their impeccable service and attention to detail. We love Casa Lontano and this property is always spotless. The extra attention with COVID precautions was very appreciated. We will continue to use Five Star and Bliss Beach Rentals. The staff is very professional and helpful.

The house was gorgeous! We had a wonderful vacation. A few minor issues, but they were very responsive!

On the plus side, the house was perfect for our family’s needs. The pool and spa were especially nice. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, cookware, etc. When we called Five Star Properties with issues, they were polite and responsive and sent maintenance folks out quickly. Overall we enjoyed ourselves in the home.

The reason for the lower stars is that many of the issues should not have been there in the first place. Several of the bathroom sinks drained incredibly slowly, and had to be cleared by the maintenance service. The cleaning service should have noticed this and addressed it prior to our arrival. The upstairs dryer didn’t heat; when the maintenance service came, he said it was completely clogged, and after an hour or so of loudly clearing out the dryer itself, he said he couldn’t resolve the issue because the outside vent was completely clogged. He also said this had been reported the prior week. Again, should have been resolved prior to our arrival. The Check-in instructions mentioned that the refrigerator might look like it was leaking but it was only ice cubes falling on the floor. The leak was more like a puddle at times, obviously not an ice cube. We actually saw a mushroom growing underneath the refrigerator (picture available). Overall the house was clean, but the floors were filthy. Socks and/or feet became black quickly. In general, it did not feel like anyone was actually managing the property proactively, just responding to calls. For the amount of money being charged, we expected to walk into a clean, fully functioning environment, which was not the case.
