Fixation Academy of Performing Arts Limited Avis 

Our son discovered Fixation when he was 13 and in Y9 at school. It took one session for him to feel he had found his tribe — that’s the first thing he said when he came out to the car.

This was in January 2020, and we all know what came next… Fixation saw our son, and all their students, through the endless lockdowns with equally endless energy and commitment. They have been our son’s pillar of support through Y9, Y10 and Y11. Carly and Laura are truly amazing women, and I highly recommend Fixation.

Thank you to the team @Fixation Academy for producing such a wonderful DVD of the 2021 show. Jan was so disappointed that he didn’t get to perform to an audience this year but receiving the DVD that will be watched a million times has made up for it. In future years we hope that we all can enjoy both a live performance and a DVD to keen the memories alive forever. Well done everyone xx

Today's taster session was brilliant. The girls had such fun - and the teachers were clearly excellent at their craft - welcoming, encouraging and energetic.

Great staff, a really happy, fun session, my daughter really loved the dance and the whole experience at the open day session, we will be booking street dance now!

Fixation Academy is a hive of opportunity. I joined a few years ago and in my time there I have performed at a red carpet event, improved my acting, dancing and singing skills and even gone abroad to a film festival. Fixation is like a family and Laura and Carly (the two amazing people who run it) will always provide support wherever it’s needed. Using all the skills I have learnt at Fixation it has even earned me a place at National Youth Theatre. I would most definitely recommend.

Fixation Academy is a wonderful performing arts school based in north London and Hertfordshire! Having attended a number of performances in the past few years, the attention to detail and effort that Laura, Carly and all the students put in is impeccable. Fixations ability to adapt during the pandemic was remarkable maintaining a service and keeping the kids and parents sane! Nothing but pure passion behind this small business!

Carly and Laura at fixation academy have been a joy to deal with and their classes are excellent. I highly recommend them to any kids that enjoy dancing, as they make it fun and exciting for all age groups.

Fantastic theatre company. I have recommended this company to many of my pupils parents as they are incredibly inclusive. I also sent my niece here for drama sessions as she struggles with confidence and making friends she is like a new child! It is so nice to see her happy. I have seen many of their performances and I have always been so impressed with the children. The manager of the company is always extremely helpful and super approachable. Fantastic!! Could not recommend enough!
