Flock Safety automated license plate reader and surveillance systems have led to several high-profile incidents where innocent people were wrongfully accused, stopped, or arrested due to system errors or police misinterpretation of the data. One woman spent 5 months in jail because of this company. Flock needs to go nobody wants them here.

Flock is an affront to liberty and everything a free society is supposed to stand for. This surveillance apparatus should never have been allowed to take root in this country. There is no acceptable version of a society in which pervasive surveillance becomes an ordinary feature of daily life. I don’t want better safeguards, revised policies, or assurances from the very institutions responsible for bringing this machinery into our communities. I want it gone. Completely. Permanently.

If Flock cameras are operating in your community, organize against them. Protest. Attend council meetings and demand that their contracts be terminated. Petition your representatives. Build coalitions. Make your opposition impossible to ignore. Pressure every official who authorized their installation and every institution that continues to support their existence. Pursue every avenue available to force their removal, and refuse to let these systems become an accepted and permanent fixture of American life.

And do not pretend that responsibility ends with the corporation itself. It extends to the officials who approve these installations, the police departments that use them, and the people who knowingly help sustain this infrastructure. Everyone involved should be prepared to answer for the role they have played in normalizing mass surveillance. A paycheck, a police uniform, or a government position does not absolve anyone of moral responsibility. No matter how low you think you are on the chain. History does not excuse people simply because they were doing their jobs.

A free people have no obligation to tolerate the machinery of their own surveillance. We are under no obligation to accommodate its existence, accept its normalization, or politely negotiate the terms under which our liberties are diminished. We can oppose it relentlessly, expose it publicly, and make its continued presence politically and institutionally untenable.

Let there be no mistake about the objective: not reform, not compromise, not a more carefully managed surveillance state. Abolition. Removal. An end to the system itself.

If your community has these cameras, do something about it. Organize your neighbors. Make your voices heard. Force the issue into the open. Do not allow apathy to accomplish what public consent never would.

Mass surveillance is completely unconstitutional and they should not be preying on small communities and towns to push this technology. This is exactly what elites want for control over everyone else. And they start with people's fear of crime as an excuse to push this. This is a terrible company spying on American people. If you haven’t committed a crime they have no right to be tracking where you go this is wrong. How many law enforcement officers have already been caught abusing this? You guys have already caused a woman to falsely go to jail in Florida. Why is the CEO asking for privacy and for people to stop taking pictures of his employees? Shit company can’t wait till this company goes out of business.

I am writing this review based on my direct, daily experience as an involuntary end-user of Flock Safety's deployed product in my community. If you are evaluating their service, here is a transparent look at what this technology actually delivers: a blatant, dangerous breach of privacy that treats everyday, law-abiding citizens like criminals in an open-air lineup.
​My experience with their corporate practices reveals sickening hypocrisy. They demand absolute secrecy and privacy for their own operations while their product tramples all over our constitutional rights, permanently recording civilians just going about their daily lives.
​To the naive apologists defending this company's services: you are trading essential liberty for a manufactured illusion of safety. The tired excuse that "your phone already tracks you" is intellectually bankrupt; it doesn't justify surrendering even more ground to a turnkey surveillance state. Every authoritarian regime starts exactly like this—promising security right before they tighten the leash.
​I will never sacrifice my freedom for peaceful slavery, and I refuse to bow down to surveillance capitalism. If you genuinely believe unchecked mass surveillance is a good product, you don't understand freedom at all. Shame on Flock Safety, shame on the local governments purchasing this dystopian nightmare, and shame on anyone who blindly supports their business. Dangerous freedom beats peaceful slavery every single time.

As a certified LEO in the State of Georgia, FLOCK has been an incredible asset in the assistance with tracking down Wanted subjects. It is just a shame and embarrassing to learn how so many LEO have abused the FLOCK Safety System instead of utilizing the system for what it is intended for...

Just mass surveillance that’s taking our 4th amendment away from us and tracking you, your car, your license plate and even some of them track your voice if there was ever a data breach which happened already with licenses plate hackers can get your debit card and all your info just from that and there are multiple instances of flock cameras being used to track cops ex partner or friends
