FOLD Reformer Avis 

I am very impressed with the Fold reformer. It was delivered last Thursday and I am absolutely over the moon with it. I have only been doing reformer classes for a few months and ordered your original machine back in August. Before delivery I upgraded to the new one. I am so glad i waited! The quality of the machine is fantastic and looks great in my home gym. I also love the app, its great to have access to the classes you offer. I go to weekly classes but I love having someone to follow as it hard to remember what to do. I am very impressed with how versatile it is and i highly recommend it to anyone, its worth every penny!

From the moment it arrived, the Fold Reformer has exceeded every expectation. The build quality is incredible – it feels solid, luxurious and engineered to perfection. The glide of the carriage is unbelievably smooth, giving that true studio reformer feel right at home.

The new Easi Fold upgrade is nothing short of a game changer. The additions on this model are so cleverly thought out and honestly deserve way more recognition – this level of innovation is seriously underrated.

Delivery was seamless, everything arrived in perfect condition, and the customer service was brilliant throughout – responsive, warm and genuinely invested in making sure everything went smoothly.

It’s a premium product and it absolutely looks and performs like one – but it’s worth every single penny. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!

I bought the FOLD reformer for my wife and have both been really impressed with the whole package. The reformer is a very high quality machine, excellent padding on the carriage, footbar, shoulder rests and box as well as high quality springs, it's very smooth and quiet to use. The added benefit of the included accessories such as the box, ring and ball is amazing at this price point. Delivery was also included and was easy to arrange. They delivered to the room of our choice. We had a small query about delivery and Zizi from FOLD responded and dealt with our question immediately. My wife also loves using the app and is enjoying the variety of classes available. Overall a fantastic pilates reformer package and we have had a great experience from purchase to delivery and to now using the reformer. Highly recommend.

Very high quality reformer so pleased with the equipment it so much better than in the 2 studios I have been to. The padding is thicker and luxurious, the operation of the footbar is smooth and the box is very comfortable. Overall a brilliant piece of equipment.

I did have some issues with the app which has a super catalogue of classes. BIG shout out to Zizi who resolved this for me. She stuck with me to sort it out.

I received my reformer bed in August and I decided to use it for a month or so before leaving a review - the actual equipment is really good quality and very easy to put together (Instructions are very clear). The delivery process, set up etc was very smooth. The fold App is really good and it has loads of beginner, intermediary and advanced classes. I have been using the Fold App lessons with the reformer bed (about 3 times a week) and I am really enjoying it. The customer service for the reformer bed is very good and every time I have sent an email or query I have got a response within 24 hours. If you like reformer pilates I would really recommend the Fold reformer bed! Very good quality for the amount I paid for it! I really researched before buying my reformer bed and I am sooo glad I chose the Fold bed! Thank you soooo much Fold team!

A very nice company to deal with from start to finish. Kept informed well of build time and arrangements for delivery. All went according to this plan. Easy access to app shows setup is simple and straightforward with the one tool (provided) and about 15 minutes. As the name suggests, it does Fold away in just a couple of minutes for storage. Super value for getting other props for exercise (ring, weights, box and jump board) all included in the price. And the machine is simply fantastic and so comfortable to use and adjust on the fly to keep seamless exercise flow. The app has a decent range of classes to get you started and experience all the props provided for a well rounded workout. The company is fair minded too, with one admin dispute being resolved swiftly and politely. Have already recommended to one friend who has purchased one too and is equally very pleased they did.

My first experience with FOLD was back in May this year when I ordered some of their own-brand grip socks which developed holes during the first wear. The customer service team on this occasion were excellent; responding in 24 hours, sending replacement socks which arrived the following day and also added a gorgeous hoodie as a gesture of goodwill.

My more recent purchase with FOLD in August did not go as planned and the customer service experience this time around was nowhere near as positive. I'm currently undertaking my reformer teacher training and will not recommend FOLD beds to any of my fellow trainees or any studios I work with in the future, based on the customer experience and the questionable quality of my particular reformer.

Bolstered by my previous exchange with the customer service team, I invested in a reformer which was advertised with a 6-8 week delivery timeline on the website at the time. The reformer arrived 9 weeks after ordering which wasn't ideal but also not a deal breaker. What I found more frustrating was the lack of proactive communication from the FOLD team, I didn't hear from them for a month and had to chase for an update myself when the delivery partner didn't get in touch within the timeline I was given.

When the reformer did arrive, it arrived with dents on one end, a faulty jumpboard which wouldn't fit in the slots under the footplate and one of the screws for holding the jumpboard in place was badly made, meaning it would not be safe to use the jumpboard. The footbar also got stuck in the position it arrived in, when I managed to work it free, there were metal filings everywhere as the footbar position gear had not been finished properly and took a lot of manoeuvering to get it moving smoothly. When I wrote to the customer service team about the faulty jumpboard to ask for a replacement, it took them 5 days to respond, well outside the 2-3 day window and absolutely no apology for the delayed response - it didn't feel like I was valued as a customer at all. I know that goodwill gestures are entirely voluntary and not to be anticipated in every transaction but because I had received something previously (and only for a pair of faulty socks), I was disappointed to not be offered anything for my patience and trust in the brand when spending a lot of money. It feels like FOLD are passing up on a good opportunity to restore some faith which is being tested at the moment. The new jumpboard has arrived in good time and does fit well. I've had to follow up with another update on the replacement screws as there was no indication of when I was going to get those.

Based on what I've seen from other disappointed customers online and heard from the Rhesus delivery men who delivered my new jumpboard ("we've had loads of these boards to drop off in the last few days") I am not alone in my less positive experience. Perhaps FOLD over-committed to the number of reformers they have been manufacturing and selling recently because quality checks are being missed and the customer service team are struggling to keep up.

I'm sticking to three stars as the overall quality of the carriage/springs/shoulder rests is lovely and I have enjoyed using the reformer. I just wish the overall finish and customer experience was better as there are so many 5* reviews on their website - mine is the first 3* on there.

Love my Reformer, as a company their customer service support is above and beyond. They aim to get back to you I. 2-3 working days but they have always responded to me within hours. They have bent over backwards to accommodate me.

Before buying it, I actually went to one of the Fold events in London to see it in real life, because as some of the reviews say, lots of ads from Temu etc. with other beds started to come up so I got choice paralysis.

This one was slightly more expensive but seeing it in person and meeting the founders gave me a peace of mind because not only it’s as luxurious as in pictures, it’s made of high quality materials, which is incredibly important because this is a piece of gym equipment and if made poorly, can cause harm if one of those springs breaks in a middle of your plank (you can see I really thought through this purchase 🤣). So you are paying extra for safety and durability. You shouldn’t compare this to a £10 designer bag from Alibaba you wear once and throw away, this is an investment and made to last.

The mechanisms are super smooth and don’t squeak with every move unlike some other small studio cheap machines I used locally. Also comes with the app which is perfect because you get professional classes at the comfort of your home.

I am completely in love with my Fold bed!

It gets daily use for my own practice and class planning (I’m a Reformer Instructor myself!) - I couldn’t recommend this company and the product more, super high quality finishes and the bed glides wonderfully. It looks gorgeous in my home space.

The app is fantastic, with new classes uploaded each week keeping it fresh and new. (So many ideas on there for my own classes too!)

I really rate this company, communication is great and the team are super friendly. Thank you Fold team!

Just over the moon with my fold reformer bed!! Everything from when I placed my order through to using it in my home has been wonderful, I had great communication about my order and very easy delivery experience to my flat. Not only is it amazing to use, just like the beds at the fancy studio I used to go to in London, but it looks so gorgeous in my home! The app is fantastic and love being in control of my fitness journey without having to leave my home. Have already recommended to all my friends!

The machine itself is fantastic but I was also left really impressed at the level of customer service I experienced. Wonderful company to deal with, which is reassuring when you're spending a lot of money on something.

When I ordered there was a 9 to 11 week delivery lead time. It actually took 13 weeks and 6 days and that was me picking the earliest possible delivery day.

The package arrived in ridiculous packaging which took me about 3 hours to open.

When I opened the package I noticed pieces were missing, including the jump board. The periphery pieces which was the pilates ball were sent back out a week or two later. But the jumpboard took another 8 weeks and 3 days to be redelivered. Taking us in total from February to the end of July to receive it.

Additionally when I complained I was told I would receive a good will gesture of a £20 gift card which was never sent, I chased it up and the customer service agent just didn't respond to that.

It's a shame because I like the actual reformer, but I probably wouldn't repurchase this again for these reasons.

Update: Despite the response below to my feedback this company still continue to ignore emails regarding faulty items. Despite sending images of both items damaged, I have only received the replacement box on 12/8. I had to email again about the damaged footboard & check if being sent out to be told they couldn’t see the images from the original email 5/8 so needed to resend.

I am baffled by the attitude towards existing onboarded customers. The communication lines are almost non existent unless I send relentless emails chasing. I’ve had to chase down the replacement & Zizi replied 13/8 & said the replacement footboard would be despatched however, it’s a guess when that will be as no one replies to emails and I have still not received it as of 15/8.

I would never recommend this company due to the way they treat customers once onboarded & the sheer lack of communication from them when something has gone wrong. It’s such a shame as it’s a beautiful piece of equipment and well made.

I’m hoping once FOLD can get the replacement item out to me I will be able to get on and enjoy it.

How disappointing! After an exciting start and being informed my order would be 6-8 weeks on ordering. It wasn’t until I got a build progress update some 3 weeks later I was then informed that my order was not expected for 10-12 weeks.

On emailing them for an explanation I was told it was due to ‘our lead times have increased slightly beyond the estimate provided at the time of your order’ It would have been nice to have been proactively told about this increase in lead time given it is quite a jump from the initial lead time quoted & also currently they are quoting 3 weeks!

I did receive my FOLD reformer on the 4/8 and immediately on unpacking noticed the standalone short box was damaged & the standing platform bar had damage along the wooden edge that faces inwards so you can’t unsee it. I took photos and sent an email with photos of the damage to FOLD who acknowledged the email on 5/8 @12.48pm and they would look into this.

I am still waiting for them to look into this. In the meantime I have a reformer bench sat in my home that I have paid for 10 weeks ago that I can’t use until they decide to come back to me. I have chased them today and have received no response. To have to pay upfront in full for an item, then wait for delivery which arrives damaged then for them not to communicate with you , I find beyond comprehensible!

comfortable, easy to set up , great to use both at home and studio and great customer service!

I’ve been using the Fold Reformer for a few months now, and it’s honestly one of the best purchases I’ve made for my home workouts. It exceeded my expectations. super sturdy, smooth to use, and surprisingly easy to fold and store in a corner when I’m done. It feels just like the reformers I’ve used in studios, but without taking up a whole room. The padding is comfortable, the springs offer great resistance, and it’s easy to adjust everything depending on the exercise. If you’re short on space but still want a proper Pilates experience at home, this is 100% worth it.

I’m honestly so happy with my Fold Reformer Pilates Bed!! It’s sturdy, really comfortable, easy to use especially for a beginner and clearly made with quality in mind.

The setup was smooth thanks to the easy to use app, and the support from the Fold team throughout the whole process was absolutely top-notch

I started off with 1 Reformer to check the build quality and how easily they actually folded. The quality was great and it fitted in the space I had so I ordered another 3. My Studio is thriving with Reformer Classes and it allows my Studio to be multifunctional. I’d highly recommend these beds for both a home practice or for a Professional Studio.
