If I was walking the trail there is a lot of information available and it would be hard not to give five stars.
By bike, a wider range of recommendations would be useful.

From the beginning, the planning process was straightforward and communication was excellent. All of our hotel reservations, luggage transfers, and route information were arranged professionally, allowing us to focus on enjoying the walk rather than worrying about logistics.

The luggage transfers were flawless. Our bags were always waiting for us at the next accommodation, which made the journey much more enjoyable. The accommodations were comfortable and quiet, something I particularly appreciated. We also enjoyed the breakfast that was included.

The signs were clear and easy to follow. We also appreciated the flexibility. We were able to walk at our own pace, stop when we wished, and experience the Camino in a way that suited us, while still having the reassurance that all of the arrangements had been taken care of.

Overall, Follow the Camino provided a well-organized, reliable, and enjoyable experience. We would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a self-guided Camino adventure.

From the initial inquiry to the last hotel, Follow the Camino was reliable. We had great customer service during the planning stages. We walked from Porto/Matosinhos to Santiago. All the hotels were very good, clean properties. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The transfer service was dependable. We had no issues with our luggage. The glitch came with the dinners that came with the hotel or a restaurant associated with the hotel. Most were not very good. Some were very bad.

A fabulous experience with Follow the Camino! From our first Q&A enquiry about the Camino, through the booking process, the pre-departure preparations and guidance, and onto the seamless experience on "The Way" with the virtual trail map, hotel arrangements, transportation, and luggage transfers, we look forward to our next bookings to walk further segments of the Camino. Our route was Oia, Spain to Santiago.

I’ve booked two Camino hikes (Frances-Sarria and Portuguese Litoral) with the folks at Follow the Camino. Both trip itineraries were very well planned, with price-appropriate accommodations, meals and reliable luggage transfer. Whenever we had questions or modifications, the team responded within a day. They gave us the option to speak with one of the booking agents directly even with the US Pacific- UK time zone differences. I look forward to booking with them again.

The accomodation was very good in general. Our bags were always at the next stop. The meals were adequate with one or two exceptions. The exceptions were off site. Our preference would be to have our meals everyday in our accomodation.
It's my opinion that the walk would not be suitable for all levels of ability.

We had gone with another company before for the camino but the accommodation with follow the camino was way better, only thing is some of the accommodation is a bit away from the finishing point and it should be advised to take a taxi when you finish. Overall it was a good experience with follow the camino.

Finally all the plan smoothly work but we have to be struggle in the beginning because our PIC from Follow the Camino, Macarena was on holiday and Jade the new PIC has not studied our contract and I have to tried to explain to her and bit tough for her to understand. When we arrived in Sarria, no rep person contact us except the bus support driver Jose who is very good and help us with all our luggages. I had to email Follow the Camino and someone from Ireland called me and told me that the luggages transportation would be ready for the next day. Luggage's tags coming shortly but Hotel Roma reception helped us to print out the additional luggage's tags. After the second day walk everything smoothed, all the hotels, breakfast and dinner not excellent but OK.

There were no hitches whatsoever. The company delivered everything as promised. We were unsure about walking the entire distance daily and were assured that taxis would be available anytime anywhere basically. It turned out our worry was uncalled for and we never needed to call for any rides as we enjoyed the walk thoroughly everyday. We requested for most comfortable accommodations with private baths and were provided with them.

The bag transfers were perfect.

Communication before the trip was clear and response was timely. We dealt with a person, not a computer! Our hotels all included breakfast and were all clean, safe and very comfortable. Our luggage was delivered every day to where it needed to be. Seamless! Thank you! I highly recommend Follow the Camino!

Amazing experience luggage transports were great breakfast was awesome at all hotels. We had one or two that wouldn’t make us a breakfast to go but other than that we had pretty good hotels one hotel in Vigo we had water pouring through our light fixture in the bathroom they came and looked at it they didn’t change our room and we didn’t die so it was all good. Lol. Maps were a little off some days a miles or two either way of what the directions said. Overall fantastic experience would use you again thanks :)

It was a great trip. 5 of us went and found all hotels to be pleasant. No injuries along the way. Our luggage showed up promptly at the hotels. The scenery was amazing!

USING FOLLOW THE CAMINO WAS THE WORSE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!! The majority of the accommodations were horrendous...mold in the shower/tub, extremely unfriendly & rude hotel owners, beds so dirty I was afraid to sleep in them. I had to move hotels once it was SO terrible because of the black mold in the bathroom. When I called FTC for support it was always a BIG deal. My initial "guidebook" never arrived, which had me walking on deserted Roman Roads, which FTC kept telling me was part of the Camino. I was then told it had to be this way because of the way I booked the trip. I asked to speak with the Manger several hellish days in for help in sorting out the remainder of my Camino (Sylvie) who actually scolded and raised her voice at me on the phone. I told her all I wanted was to be walking the Camino with the yellow guide arrows, that all the other pilgrims were on! She was more interested in defending the lady who booked this nightmare (Fernanda) than helping me sort the rest of my Camino out. All the friends I met were using other companies and staying in lovely places and had great support. (And walking the actual Camino, not on
rocky Roman roads). FTC tried to tell me that some towns were just too small for nice accommodations...what about the larger towns where there were several better hotel options than where they put me?? Also, the food vouchers for dinner were a JOKE! One town was actually "one entree only at a Chinese restaurant". I ended up not using most of their dinner vouchers, if I ever had a choice. Another town they sent me to was literally deserted, with no options to buy food and they put me in an 8 bedroom Airbnb all by myself. The breakfast provided there was toast in a tin and jam, and a broken coffee machine. (No person on site) Terrible, as I needed energy to start the long walks each day. I paid top S$ for private hotel rooms in the "nicest accommodation possible", which simply didn't happen. FTC tried to say they were already sold out...funny, friends who had companies book their trip much later than me were in better hotels. in every town. At some point I stopped calling them and just paid to switch hotels and book my own taxis. To sum it up...they are dishonest and really just trying to make money. They actually say on the itinerary if you have a problem call your accommodation. (Not them) DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!! Use Camino Ways, Mac Adventures, or any other company, but don't use this company...YOU WILL REGRETIT! They wrecked the Camino experience for me :(

A bit of everything. The route was planned well. All the accommodations were secure and right for the location.

When the mileage for some days was very long it was probably because there were no towns with hotels or restaurants in shorter routes.

My bags were always waiting for me when I arrived.

I highly recommend Follow the Camino, we didn’t have to worry about anything, the app was great we were able to find our way to each hotel very easily, the accommodations were great and the food was amazing!
