Forward Air: Where Your Appliances Go to Disappear
Negative Stars if it were possible! I had the misfortune of dealing with Forward Air for a washer and dryer delivery, and it's been nothing short of a nightmare. On July 11th, they managed to deliver only half of my order - the dryer showed up, but the washer was MIA. The installer assured me it would arrive the next day, but that was just the beginning of a wild goose chase. After receiving no updates, I called their customer support. They promised to investigate and call back. Spoiler alert: they didn't. I called again the next day, only to be told they had merely sent an email to the warehouse and were waiting for a response. Apparently, it takes 48 hours for their warehouse to hit "reply." Fast forward 72 hours (because why rush?), and still nothing. No washer, no explanation, just more waiting. It's been a week since the initial delivery, and Forward Air can't even tell me what happened to my washing machine. How do you lose an entire appliance? It's not exactly a sock that disappears in the dryer! The most infuriating part? Their customer service seems allergic to actually picking up a phone and calling the warehouse. Instead, they're content to play email tag while I'm left high and dry (literally, since I can't do laundry). It's a scorching Texas summer, I have two kids and two dogs, and Forward Air thinks it's acceptable to leave us without a washing machine for weeks on end. At this point, I'd settle for them picking any washing machine from a local store and delivering it tomorrow. Save yourself the headache and avoid Forward Air at all costs. Unless, of course, you enjoy treasure hunts for your own purchases and have a passion for wearing dirty clothes.
