Fractory Avis 64

I've had mixed experiences using Fractory. Laser cut parts are usually fine, but I've had to send back parts due to poor packaging, and some parts are not flat enough so allow for a degree of wastage when placing an order.
My first CNC order is proving very frustrating. Delivery has been delayed by over two weeks and counting, and I am likely going to have to leave my own customers without fulfilled orders due to this delay. I ordered the parts on a standard delivery time which claims to be produced in the UK, yet the parts have been produced in China, resulting in customs delays, and I consider this to false advertising if not a breach of contract. I've suggested the parts could be remade in the UK to meet their promise, but this has fallen on deaf ears.

Ordering process is made easy and straight-forward.

Worked with Connor in the CNC department to have a few parts made before the release of a new product. Connor has been extremely helpful from the very start, couldnt ask for more.

It is such an hassle to get some company with a laser capable of cutting metal to bother even talking to you if you need just a few pieces done. Factory.com just works and, the best part, you do not even have to talk to a human if you know what you are doing! You can upload your parts, get immediate price offer and if that is acceptable you just pay and get your stuff a week later. Fast, convenient and it just works!

Really bad experience, and borderline dishonest.

Started by placing an order on the website, and praying the cost for the metal parts.

Later I get an email saying that for a delivery in the UK they need to re-adjust (increase) the price.
On the website I ordered, the address from the business is UK based, but there are after all based in Estonia.

I ask how much for the adjustment if it's just VAT + shipping, and offer 2 more addresses in Europe as alternatives for shipping.
No answer and I simply get my order cancelled.
They sent me a full refund but this is borderline unprofessional and deceiving

I came across Fractory a few months ago and placed a small order for some folded and powder-coated sheet aluminium. Everything was delivered on time, well packaged and to a high standard of finish.

I have subsequently used them on several occasions for low volume sheet metal components and they have always delivered a high quality product on time and at competitive rates.

I am particularly impressed with their website, which allows you to upload CAD and get an immediate price. This makes Fractory easy to use and exceptionally user friendly.

On the odd occasion when I have spoken to my account manager, I have always had excellent responses from him.

I intend to use Fractory increasingly often over the next few months.

Have used Fractory a few times now to fabricate some pieces for our clients and have always been really pleased with the affordable, quick service and high quality fabrication. We work in quite a fast paced environment with last minute requests and changes and Johnny has always been a great help to us in keeping our customers happy. I'd definitely recommend. This is my 15th order or so with mostly great results and a couple issues along the way however they have always made it up. Highly recommend.
