I tried to order some brackets on this site using an Autocad file I had used previously, but queried my order when odd dimensions were returned upon uploading the file.
The customer service representative was no help at all, fobbing me off with irrelevant web pages. He did not seem to have the first clue about opening and checking the content of Autocad files and simply ignored my pleas to confirm that my order would be correctly processed. A really disappointing experience that I would not have expected from a site with so much positive feedback.

I am a complete manufacturing novice but these guys help me with all my parts. It's getting to a point where I very rarely don't have something on order with them.

Wish this service was around 10 years ago, this opens up the world of laser cutting possibilities on a hobbyist's budget. Great to get an instant quote on the website from uploading a STEP file. Ordered 20 off identical laser cut flat profiles, price was very reasonable. Would like to see shorter delivery times, but parts came 2 days earlier than estimated date and are exactly as expected so can't complain. Can't comment on customer service, as the whole thing was done via my laptop with no human interaction whatsoever! So thanks to the Fractory team for making it so straightforward - will be back again for sure and will recommend to friends and colleagues!

As a total novice to CAD and designing items for my mini camper this service has been great. I've successfully made one modification to help with storage in the vehicle and have just placed an order for another design idea I dreamt up. Great fun, great quality and the service is top notch.

Great streamlined service with customer service to go with it, should there be any problems.
In my case, my CAD file format was creating issues. Initial frustration was soon sorted by top notch technical customer support.

It just works......uploaded files and a few days later there was a clunk in my mailbox. A very slick process, and I would recommend it if you want stuff quickly. I will use them again.
Here's some comments:
- The online quote facility is good, I did submit my quote to two other UK companies, both were cheaper by about 15%, but took about a week to respond, by which time I had placed my order with Fractory.
- The parts were just placed in a cardboard mailing box, so they were free to move in the packaging, There were a few nicks in the parts where they had collided, but didn't affect their function for me.
- The finish was good, I did deburr the edges as the kerf was sharp, not a problem for me for two parts, but might be if you ordered a lot of parts

I just made my order with Fractory. I discuss with the support team about the project that I'm building for my daughter. They helped me learn about the metals and thickness (I was using a 3X stronger and $$ than what I need.) I will update once I get my aluminium cabinet.
