AWFUL! - 25 year loyal customer .....GONE!

AWFUL!! Have been a customer over 25 years. Their customer service used to be excellent. Now absolutely horrible. Tried to return purchase of tote . 3 calls 5 emails and then they tried to blame supplier why it could not be returned. I contacted that supplier McKlein, no response. 8 weeks later still not RMA for return. If you value customer service, this company will not be one you want to deal with. Ruined legacy!

Just awful!

Just awful!
I’ve been using Franklin planners beginning so long ago that at that time they were called Franklin Quest.
The system is great but over the years the company has changed the product and not in a good way; the planner looks the same but the paper is so cheap, printing and inks sometimes bleeds thru and the quality control is terrible. When I write on the page, if not using a pencil, the ink bleeds thru! My 2025 refill included only 2 weeks for February!
I contacted customer service about the February mistake and got no help.
The price for this year’s compact size refill is over $60.00! It was about $30.00 for my first pack which was of a superior quality.
I started my online order for 2026, saw the price and backed the hell up.
Next I tried to put a review on Frankie’s website but they won’t let you make a review unless it’s a new purchase!
I’ll never buy from these guys ever again.

So disappointed in paper quality

As a long-term user of FranklinCovey planners, I am very disappointed in the latest page refills for 2025. I have been using these planners for at least 35 years. I love their system of using the planner to set short term and long-term goals and also keeping track of daily lists of things you need to do. Nothing gets overlooked or forgotten when you use a FranklinCovey planner.
The latest page refills are such for Quality that the ink bleeds through to the previous page making both sides difficult to read.

Called in about a late order

Called in about a late order. CSR I spoke with on 6/16/25 was rude and very nonchalant! WILL NOT ORDER AGAIN. Order still has not arrived. Last order was a planner and the quality of their leather has gone down and prices have soared. Overrated...overpriced...and overall should receive 0 stars. One star is too much!

A user of Franklin planners for 30+…

A user of Franklin planners for 30+ years. Quality going down, prices up. Binder falls out of leather planner in less than 1 year and plastic tabs are so cheap they last just a few months. Sad to see decline.

Customer Service Does't Answere

I love the planning system but the customer service is terrible. They have very short business hours and they gave me the wrong tracking number according to DHL. It's been 14 days since they shipped and I still can't track my package. I've sent three emails and no one is answering. Their office is closed before I get off of work and when I call on a lunch break, I stay on hold. No one gets to my call.
I won't be ordeering again and I don't suggest you do. Honestly, just THE most terrible customer service.

Death of a Great product

Being a long time FP customer I finally drop them. Reasons: 1) when checking out in the shop, they state that the sale is final and not refundable even if package is damaged. Are you kidding me? 2) Shipping cost to Europe is 1/3 of the product price - before local tax! Which I my case is additional 25% on top = No go. Other US companies ship for significant less using the UPS, Fedex etc. 3) Agree with reviewers below - products are outdated and FP has clearly become a cash cow with no interest in customer needs.
I wrote customer service on item 1) above and never got an answer.
RIP FP.

Unattractive Planners & Uncooperative Customer Service, Etc.

I have to agree with the @Marlene Suzuki, as my experience with Franklin Planner has been the same. I as well as other people have reached out to FP on various occasions, over the years, suggesting that FP review their planner and calendar offerings --- making a number of suggestions, and we've been met with curt and dismissive responses. Who hires these customer service representatives?! The FP customer service representatives' responses demonstrate a corporate culture that stuck in a corner, is unwilling to listen to their customers, and is out-of-touch with the ever evolving planner market. In recent years, the analog planner has made a big comeback, and Franklin Planner is still completely clueless as to what is going on. Pity because they could have lead the market. They need to clean house, and adopt a new marketing strategy. The designs on most planners are unattractive, the colors for the most part are ghastly or not varied enough (ie. peacock blue of a high quality binder, but no black versions of the same high quality binder), the materials used to make many of the planners are of poor quality, many planners don't have large enough rings, and closures on many of the binders are either non-existent or poorly designed. It's as if there is one person who is in charge of design, and the company just won't acknowledge that he/she is not good at his/her job or perhaps the person is related to "someone" and removing said person is not possible. The items geared towards women are just simply put: ugly and/or lack professional/feminine presentation. I've resorted to using planners from a company in the UK that has their finger on the pulse of their customers' needs AND they produce their planners, etc. in THEIR country. I would love nothing more than to buy from an American company, but Franklin Planner is clearly not interested in making changes, and their planners, etc. are made in another country instead of the USA.
