The socks did not help with my foot issues. When I asked about the full refund offer within 90 days of purchase, I learned that to return them meant sending them to China at my own expense which included a tracking number. So the cost to return (over $100) was far greater than the amount I paid for two pairs of socks ($63.08). My only option was to accept the 25% refund and hope that it would actually be refunded and keep the socks. It was suggested to me that I give them to someone but I haven't found anyone who wants them. I believe this was a devious form of scam. I will not make this mistake again. 25% off on my "next" order was no gift at all! Buyer beware!

These socks have helped me ,and my husband ,to improve our circulation and helped me to control the pain in my legs in the daytime .I am able to be active again so am very grateful. Thank you.

This is not a great company as it is NOT English - it is based in China although it does have a UK address. To return items you have to post them back tracked to China before you can get a refund! This costs more than the actual item. Will report to trading standards. The quality of the socks is not great either way. The ads are totally misleading

This whole extensive advert is a fake, this item is supplied from China, which I would always avoid at all cost; there is no UK family business
, all email enquiries are answered in the middle of the night from China.
The actual product is cheap, nasty mass produced tatt; mine arrived with machine snags.
Forget returning as it costs as much to send them back to China tracked as you paid for them.
If you are like me and have suffered for years with arthritic foot pain, please scroll on by their advert, I promise you this is just another scam product that has extensive medical jargon, probably copied from another site.
Avoid at all costs!!!

After the 1st day, my back was better. My overall walking was less painful. The back of my foot, the heel, is painful, like if I had a bruise. I enjoyed the experience and wish I gad more of these socks. Thank you

Was sceptical but am delighted to say I would recommend them to anyone who ever suffered restless legs or swollen ankles wish I had ordered more

I normally use Sockwell socks but decided to try these as they sounded great. Unfortunately, as other people have stated, these socks are way too big - the woman's 4-7 offered no compression for my size 5 EEE feet.
My main issue though is to all intents and purposes you can't return the socks. Despite all of the marketing spiel about the British nurse, it is actually a Chinese Company and you have to post the socks back there with a tracking number. This is obviously expensive so not really worth it. I would be careful about using this company and maybe find an alternative where you can genuinely try the socks to see if they work for you.

I rarely write reviews but I wanted to let others know of my experience.
I ordered the socks on the 23rd August, delivered 9th September and worn every day until 16th October. Unfortunately I didn't get any relief which was a shame but the product did seem quite nice. It was sent in a cheap plastic bag with no instructions which was disappointing.
As I didn't get any relief I contacted them for a refund as they offer a money back guarantee. I thought this would not be an issue as they advertise the guarantee on the website and also state that they are from a UK based business.
When I emailed them, Tahira emailed back. Tahira was quick to respond and polite but the only two options that I had were to accept a 25% refund or return the items by tracked post to a room in Guangdong, South China. It was stated that to get the refund the items must be returned tracked. I checked out the price of a tracked postage to China and it came back at just under £20. So on my £35 order I would only get back £15 if I returned them. How reliable the tracked service is to a room in China I have no idea and didn't want to take the risk. I opted for the 25% and will offer the socks to my parents. I just wanted to let people know that their money back guarantee comes with quite a hefty fee. I am only giving 1 star because Tahira was very responsive on email.

I ordered these for myself and my mum, they are brilliant as soon as you put them on, you can feel your legs tingling as the blood gets flowing my feet and ankles feel so much better after wearing them, they give really good relief to achy feet. I was a bit sceptical, but they really work! My mum loves them too they have helped her swollen angles feel much better, I will be recommending them to everyone!

I recently bought a pair off Functional socks for a friend who was suffering with aching swollen feet& no help in improving the situation.I was very pleased to hear that she was very pleased with them & they had helped greatly in her having a good night’s sleep!
I’m now going to try their gloves as I have carpal tunnel syndrome.

The socks are brilliant thr only downside I have is the fact they are open toe so wearing with closed toe shoes is very awkward as the sock rolls up or digs into my foot. So at the moment I have only managed to wear around the house. Be so much better if they were a closed toe as could wear then with everything esp my steel toe caps at work . BUT they definitely make a difference when worn which is why I'm gutted I can't wear them all the time

Absolute rubbish. I ordered a small size (5.5) they were far too big, not supportive at all! Spoke to them about a return, they offered me a full refund if I returned them. That would have cost more than the socks were worth. Other option, 30% refund if I kept them, and give to someone else!!
Complete rubbish, delivered in a plain plastic bag, no markings on the socks at all about left and right. Delivery was about 3 weeks.
AVOID

The color is distracting and I can’t wear them constantly because they either don’t fit under my shoes or show when I wear cropped jeans.

I am a UK size 9 and ordered the S/M size which is the smallest size possible and it is still way too loose. For anyone with a smaller foot size than me it would be completely baggy.

It also says you need to ensure to put the socks on correct feet on the website but there is zero labelling or packaging with instructions. It is guesswork which sock is for which foot.

Delivery was also very slow.

Since getting my first pair of your wonderful socks ... i have bought another pair , and wear them every day ... the pain in my feet has gone and they are at last Warm, after years of cold and almost numbness , due to my very poor circulation ( as i suffer from Raynauds syndrome and the related disease Scleroderma.... )Thank you Functional Aid ...Bunty Leith-Ross .

I still haven't received my order! After placing on the 6th of October. No update nothing. Very dissatisfied.

Editing my review 24/10 finally received the Socks. What a waste of money, ordered s/m as I am a size 5 in women's shoes. They are loose and I will be returning them. The come should have catered various sizes especially if they are going to charge so much.

The socks are an amazing product when I first got them WOW I hardly felt any pain, but after I needed to wash them the magic seemed to wain off a little. They still worked but I felt like maybe not as good as first time wearing them. And if I wait too long before I put them on (like I woke up in the night with excruciating pain in both feet) I put them on and they worked but only on one foot the other just didn’t work the same and I had a very bad uncomfortable morning as I couldn’t relax and get back to sleep. I still love them and would buy more, but at this moment in time I am in agony. Thank you
