I preordered four Spiderman Collector Booster boxes in late June. I contacted them a month before release, asking for proof of allocation. They couldnt provide this but said that because I locked in my preorders early enough, I was "well within the safe window" and were "confident" I'd receive my copies. Two weeks later, I get an email saying they received less than twenty percent of their allocation (no proof) and refunded the full amount.

Hi Peter,
I'm very sorry for your disappointing experience. We understand how frustrating it is to place a preorder and then learn that allocation has been cut back by distributors - unfortunately, this was out of our control.
We did refund your order in full straight away, so no customers were left out of pocket. That said, we fully accept that our communication could have been clearer and earlier.
After this and one other case of short allocations, we've learned important lessons. For high-demand Pokemon and MTG products, we will now be running staged pre-orders:
- Initially accepting only a small number of pre-orders.
- Re-opening for more once distributor allocation numbers are confirmed.
This stricter process is to prevent another shortage situation from happening again.
We also now work with multiple distributors to reduce allocation risks, and we've introduced a Priority List to fairly allocate stock when demand exceeds supply.
We never want any customer to feel misled or disappointed, and I sincerely apologise again. Thank you for your feedback - it helps us improve.

Was apprehensive ordering at first because I couldn't find much about these guys but took a punt and it paid off. Price was great and items were packaged well. Will definitely order again!
