Geeks Root Avis 84

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! you have been warned! I wish I had read the review from 3 months ago. I hired them to make a website for me back in March, they missed every deadline, they are from Pakistan and you have to explain everything 3 or 4 times and they still don't get it right. Finally had to just give up on trying to work with them, they said they would give me a refund that was over a month ago and still nothing. I will be filing a formal complaint with BBB, please don't get scammed by this company.

Kevin Jones was phenomenal to work with. He was in constant contact of his progress through text. He didn’t hesitate on any of the changes I asked during the progress. I look forward to working with Geeks Root in the future for ways to expand my company.

Amanda was excellent at communicating in a timely manner and made herself available for discussion at our convenience. The quality and details of the work were excellent and we are very pleased with the outcome of the work.

I'm happy I went with Geeksroot. I didn't know if I was making the right decision or not but now that I can see the final product I know that I wouldn't do it another way. Thanks team.

Follow Up to my first review. Do not use this company. If you read this and still work with GeekRoots, then you deserve the horrible service you may get. You've been warned.

MY Site 8 months still does not function properly. I will need to pay another person to fix all Geeksroot mistakes.

Two things in my CONTRACT. They did not provide
a- 6 Filters b- Payment integration.

1) 3/11 the manager that worked on my website emails me with threat of law action for posting a review. LOL it's perfectly legal to write a review.
2) 3/14 the owner of the company writes an email apologizing and that I had every right to be frustrated and EXACT QUOTE "would love to have your issues resolved swiftly and of utmost quality as a part of compensation, I would refund all the monies that you have paid over this project to us" (LIE he did not and has not)
3) 3/15 I say thank you and ask for my refund
4) Again it takes 2 whole days to get a response and when I do, The owner tries to BRIBE and offer not a FULL money but ONLY 50% contingent on I take down the review and then will release the rest. (UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICE and AGAINST TRUST PILOT RULES)
5) 3/17 I do not agree and continue to ask for full refund as promised in the first email. The owner doesn't even know my contract of how much money I spent. This incompetent behavior. He didn't research but said he read ALL The communication. Also admits the Threats were wrong.
6) 3/18 I don't hear back and try to reach him on the phone. The employees LIE to me several times with excuses why he can't come to the phone. Also their phone system sometimes goes on auto response and asks for extensions but the employees claim they are not authorized to give direct extensions or the PUBLIC last name of the owner who already has his last name in the email. They have "another employee" with the same first name, however he is not in the directory as well.
7) 3/18 Owner promise like every other deadline missed during the project, that he will contact me in 1.5 hours. 3 and a half hours later I call and surprise he's not there. He does not CALLS BACK. Instead I get an email claiming family emergency. Apologizing. They always apologize but often do not actually DO what they say.
8) 3/18 Email says that he can't (THE OWNER) refund the money (HE PROMISED) but only part. Not even half the money. Claiming I'm using the website.
SITE IS NOW CLOSED UNTIL I GET FULL REFUND
Yes it Was up and running but I have no clients or workers cause the site isn't functioning properly DUE TO BAD CODING/DESIGN. WHEN I WAS OFFERED FULL MONEY REFUND this was the case. Nothing change from the first email. WHY NOW IS HE NOT OFFERING ME EVEN HALF REFUND.
9) Overall claims he can't refund the credit card I paid with and ask for my BANKING INFO. I do not trust them with my bank info. They are required to refund how I paid. I even offer my paypal which I know they work with because the manager told me they use paypal.
10) I tell them NEVER to contact me again until I see the full refund. They once again TRY TO MAKE THE REFUND CONTINGENT ON TAKING THE REVIEW DOWN. THAT IS AGAINST TRUST PILOT RULES AND HENCE THIS NEW REVIEW. You have been warned...AGAIN.

Now all they did was waste a full week of my time, make me more angry, frustrated, and prove that they still have bad customer service and miss deadlines.

Very good experience, I've had. They were exact with what I wanted and on time. I'm still going to use their service later on in the future.

Do not use this company. -It's been 2 months for a website they quoted 2 or 3 weeks. It is still not correct. -They claim to be from Florida or England, however they login into my Instagram and it says it is from Pakistan. -They missed just about every deadline including the very first deadline of mock up of the initial design and did not contact me to say it would be late. -They apologize and say they will never do it again. It happens almost every deadline - I ask for simple revisions like, change the wording, put pictures, link in a new tab and it takes days or weeks to get them done. It takes asking reminding 4 or 5 times before these things get done. -Several times they say the changes have been made and they are not completed when checked. - They tried to charge me the remaining balance and said the site was complete before they even brought me through the site and I was able to test the functions of the site. - When I was going to test the functions the modules didn't work - They said once the site went live, it would cost more money to have them fix it. - It is now two weeks later since they said the WAS DONE and it still doesn't function properly - The basics of a contact form weren't even done. I could not reply to the person filling out the form and the drop down list of US states weren't even in alphabetical order. - 2 times they said the contact form was fixed and it wasn't after I tested it out (now fixed). -the site was riddled with spelling errors -We used basecamp to communicate only after a month went by and I complained about the site not being correct. They said they fired the developer but his name was on basecamp and in the video of a tutorial (which had no sound or verbal directions), I saw the notepad which had the guys name who was supposed to be fired. Then they deleted all communication that was on basecamp without even telling me they were going to do that. A few functions in my contract are not even fulfilled.

I’ve had such an amazing experience working with Amanda Petros. This is my first time developing a business and I’m totally new with having a website designed and she has been wonderful and helpful. I look forward to a long relationship with Amanda and Geeks Root.

Working with Geeksroot developers has been great! I was assisted by Amanda and she was very accommodating and helped me so much!! I’m very pleased with my final website design. Highly recommend using them in the future even if you are a small business!

It was a pleasure working with both Kevin and Syed. I was provided excellent customer service. Even more so, Syed was patient and helpful in resolving an issue I had with our website. A knowledgeable team I would recommend and use again.

Geek roots it’s absolutely amazing. They were so great with communicating with me in regards to how quick and easy the process would be to convert my file. I was looking to have a PNG file converted over to SVG file. They had this completed for me in less than an hour. This is so meaningful especially because I needed it on the fly. I just want to say that they’re absolutely great for your graphic design needs and or questions. Definitely will be back as a returning customer.

There is absolutely no way these positive reviews are not fake. Check the bbb. The review on there from someone (not me) pretty much sums up my exact experience. They pretend to be from Florida for some reason, by using phone numbers that appear to be from Florida. They log into your developer account from Pakistan. They promised a delivery in 4 weeks and missed every deadline during that process, ultimately apologizing and offering complimentary services to make up for their failure, but then never providing those services either. No supervisors can be reached. They do not value customer service like American companies do. They could care less about a request to speak to a supervisor to try to meet a deadline. Deadlines seem to mean nothing to them. I asked to just cut my losses and take my source files for my partially completed app and go get a new developer (5 months later) but they refused and are holding my app files hostage requesting more money.

I worked with GeeksRoot on my company logo and had a great experience. They provided quality work and were a pleasure to work with!

Amazing Top of the line service! Very responsive and timely! After listening to what my vision was they creatively designed the perfect logo with multiple great options. Definitely will recommend and do business with them again.

I had the pleasure to work with this guys, Shawn Williams was very helpful and quick to provide information about what they can do for me then contacted me with Amanda Petros who presented to me logo ideas and I was amazed with the work and how fast they got to work!
