Great for used Teslas
What a find for all Tesla owners. I have a 2018 M3, that went outside Tesla warranty. I found Amber, and signed up for the warranty. They allow you to sign up outside of warranty. Not even 3 weeks later, did I get an airbag warning on my car. Scheduled a Tesla service appt, and got the quote approved by Amber. Had to wait 6 weeks for my Tesla appointment, but got the airbag system replaced, as well as Tesla found issues with my steering / control arms, which Amber also approved under warranty. Amber even called Tesla to pay the bill directly minus my deductible. I didnt have to wait for reimbursement.
I'm a huge fan, and recommending to any Tesla owner out there who is afraid to own the car past factory warranty. The process was very easy. They communicate very quickly by email or phone. I think they will be a game changer moving forward for used Tesla's.

Had service done at Tesla on my 2023 M3
Had service done at Tesla on my 2023 Model 3 LR rear passenger window as it would not consistently roll up after I exit my car. I had verified prior to setting up the service appointment with Tesla that my rear passenger window issue would be covered under the Amber Care/Battery Club Warranty. Once Amber verified the work would be covered, I went to Tesla and had it done.
After the work was completed, I called Amber and they answered quickly, spoke to Tesla Service on the spot and gave a credit card for the warranty work and I paid my deductible. The transaction was smooth and easy. So far, I'm impressed with Amber's warranty and have it on both of my Tesla's.

Amber doesn't care
Really wanted to give them a good review. But unfortunately their actions is now causing me me to do the direct opposite. They are very nice people, good costumer service, and tries to be courteous and all. However the issue with them. Is they have alot of growing up to do. They are like a small bird that doesn't know how to fly. Afraid of everything other than trying to take people's money. They have a diagnostic tool which is supposed to tell them about the health of your vehicle. But they use this tool to actually discriminate against it.
I bought a 2018 Tesla Model S 75D barley 45k miles on it. No accidents, garage kept, one owner, any and all maintenance always done and battery and drive unit warranty still active. They did a remote diagnostic and denied my car. Saying that they found a random one time out of nowhere isolation code. That never appeared again in all their assement. They found a door handle issue. Which I recalberated and is fixed and a airbag light. Which was because I had my seats skin color changed out. I even talked with my local Tesla service. Who ran a diagnostic and told me there is no such isolation codes or anything popping up. They also said that these cars are basically computers on wheels and codes can pop up here and there. Which is fine as long as that code is not constant. I told amber care this and they came back to approve the coverage under the condition. That ANY and ALL HV Components be excluded from coverage. Their explanation was they are scared that if that code came up that at some point in the car's coverage it may cause some issue. I told them first that is not a pre-existing condition and also something that might happen in future is the very REASON I am buying a coverage. I seriously don't know how they are in business. They are improperly using this diagnostic tool and don't fully understand what a pre-existing condition is. They are basically looking for a used car that is new. Issue is when they run the diagnostic on your car. They will find some random code and then try to either exclude major components which they STATE THE COVER or they will keep talking about how seriously unhealthy your car is to devalue your vehicle and waste your time as they decline you. This company may at some point get better. But definitely at this point they can't compete with other warranties. They are just too small, too afraid, too inexperienced and too new. I would look else where.

You thinking taking some part of context and omitting other things is honorable thing to do? Well here is the whole text I received from you guys. Also you to say those codes indicate that an issue might occur in the future. Are you HEARING YOURSELF??? This is the very reason someone gets a warranty cause something that hasn't happened might happen in the future. You guys make no sense seriously. Also you ok with making me pay FULL PRICE even when your not giving me all the coverage. Never did you say based on these exclusions we can discount your price. Since we choose not to give you full bumber to bumber coverage minus battery component. In fact what you did say is HIT THE ROAD. Folks here is their actual text to me.

I appreciate your patience. The following components would be excluded from your coverage: Cabin Heater, AC Compressor, Junction Boxes, HV Cabling, and other HV components.
Additionally, we would need to ensure the airbags are fixed. Given these exclusions, I would recommend exploring alternative programs like Xccelerate, which may offer full coverage to better meet your needs.

That is what they sent me. And in their explanation you see how they conveniently left out. OTHER HV COMPONENTS. If they are willing to twist even their own wording. How reliable are they in keeping any word they say. So disappointed.

Amber Claim Processed Very Quickly
Concierge was very responsive when I submitted Invoice of repair underway on my Tesla. Concierge offered to pay the repair facility directly or fully reimburse me (less a small deductible). Never a question on the scope of repair to be covered, quickly resolved and reimbursed only a few days after the repair. Quick, efficient, gave me full confidence in the coverage I had purchased.

WOW Best customer service I’ve received in a while I sent over the estimate to Amber claims within minutes I had an approval. I took my car to Tesla January 6 it was ready January 8. I must start by saying WOW! I’ve had such an amazing experience now twice with my claims trough Amber. To give some background, I work in finance and have had lot of interactions with traditional warranty companies in the past. The service that I’ve received from Amber was outstanding and always prompt. They were in communication with Tesla the entire way and even spotted some mistakes that Tesla made on their invoice going both ways. The experience I’ve had is what made me make the decision to keep my Tesla for another few years instead of buying a new one. I highly recommend Amber to all my friends and anyone looking to extend their Tesla warranty.
