Food is tasty, good portion size. Would like to see greater variety of vegetables in the vegetarian dishes. Also would like to have some vegan options.

Excellent quality and variety
I've tried a few other meal services, and while FED is on the higher end price wise they are definitely the highest quality by far (even including others in the same price bracket).
Meals reheat very well, and there's great variety with a decent selection changing over time so it doesn't feel like I'm just eating the same meal every week.

It is really easy to use and quick
It is really easy to use and quick. My wife has concerns about the plastic containers though and heating the meals in them may be bad for you? It would be good to have some information on this please. Otherwise is a easy and cost effective way to get fed when busy.

Regarding your wife's concerns about the plastic containers, we want to assure you that our trays are made from food-grade materials that meet international food packaging standards. They are designed to be safe for heating and can withstand temperatures up to 220 degrees Celsius.

Delicious and good-sized meals
The meals were delicious and the ravenous size was really good - exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately they are no longer delivering fresh meals to Christchurch, otherwise I absolutely would have kept up a subscription!
