Homethings Eco Dishwasher Tablets
Homethings Eco Dishwasher Tablets.
Purchased in July. I was hoping for an alternative to Ecover now they have been taken over and are no longer such an ethical brand. Tablets Ineffective in dishwasher. Items remained dirty and oily.
Contacted customer services who insisted the tablets worked, but said I could return if I paid return postage which seems very unfair! Why should I pay postage for a product that does not do what they advertise?
I decided to keep trying. It’s now November. They do not work on Auto or Eco programmes. A thick, disgusting and very sticky sludge is left on the filter and surrounding area which is removed by hot water and Ecover washing up liquid. Items are left dirty and greasy - from olive oil, yogurt and porridge?!? I am not cooking meat gravy or battered gunk; I scrape plates before putting them in the dishwasher.
The tabs are only effective in the hottest intensive programme which uses most electricity and water - I prefer to use the eco programme! This makes me believe that it is the hot water doing the cleaning and not the tablets.
I have returned to using Ecover. It is not perfect, but it does clean well on low energy / low water use cycles.
I discourage anyone from buying Homethings Eco Dishwasher tablets.

With our dishwasher tabs we know that they outperform two leading brands through these tests. They're made with the best quality eco ingredients including organic eucalyptus oil formulated to EU Ecolabel standards and we do have tens of thousands of customers who use the product daily at home with great results. It smells great and it's easy to put the tablets/capsules in the bottle. It almost makes me look forward to cleaning as I like the smell!

Lovely Products
Lovely website, products were explained and ordering was easy and delivery was quick. So far, I’ve only used the laundry sheets which are fantastic! I’ve been using up my usual products and then I’ll start on the wash liquid and kitchen sprays etc.

Experience from advert to use!
From advert to ordering to notifying about delivery and being delivered excellent service. Toilet cleaner great, dishwasher tablet great, laundry sheet yet to use, how ever a little disappointed with washing up liquid. But on the whole would highly recommend other products and customer service.
