Great products, looking forward to swapping out more bulky bottles in my cupboard to home things

I have a subscription for washing up refills that was set for 11 December. It’s now 16 December, and the bot (not a human) that manages their email tells me they haven’t been dispatched yet. There’s no guarantee I’ll get these before Christmas, (according to the bot).

I’d naively assumed that the date for a subscription meant items would be dispatched on that date. But apparently it merely means at Homethings an order is placed and you wait for it to be dispatched . So there’s no way you can manage your usage not to run out. I’ll have to buy something else since it’s nearly Christmas, and I need washing up liquid, obviously.
Not a great experience and I’m going elsewhere for refills.
Expect a bot will write a bland reply to this. No humans at Homethings.

Update. A human did get in touch, as well as the bot. But I still don’t understand why, if you set up a subscription, the recurring date is taken each time to mean a new order has been placed and you therefore have to wait for it to be dispatched. Surely the point of a subscription is that the company knows in advance that you’ve ordered and the date is when items should be dispatched? Subs I have elsewhere send an advisory email around a week in advance, so if you need you can skip the delivery.

I wrote in the first instance enquiring where my subscription was, as looking up my account was completely opaque. It wasn’t possible to tell if the sub was on the way.

Nice items, I love to recycle so I like anything like your items, they all smell nice, I've put four stars just because I specifically wanted something to replace my washing up liquid and I I love the alternatives but it's just doesn't lather very much but I assume that's because it's all natural?

I was also disappointed to realise that synthetic fragrances are used. I found the fragrances very artificial and overpowering. While I accept that I should have checked this more carefully before purchasing, it was still unexpected given the overall branding and positioning of your range.
I wanted to pass this on as feedback, as it may be helpful to consider for customers who are sensitive to fragrance

I bought a pack of loo rolls. £16.50 for 24. They're excellent. Stretchy and strong.

I like the product and that the packaging is ecologically sound.

I’ve been using the washing up refill sachets and laundry sheets for ages and now trying out the multi surface cleaner plus newly launched unbleached toilet paper- its lovely!

Bought a few things as a starting kit. Impressed with the results so far. So far things like the kitchen and bog roll work as well as traditional versions. I prefer the scents they use too.

Easier than going to the refill shop! Very fast delivery. Great product!

Having researched a number of different companies selling products that are better for the environment, I chose Homethings as they totally embrace the concept, paper or cardboard packaging is far better than plastic or even glass. I have used the laundry sheets and I am very happy with them, the clothes are cleaned well, they smell fresh, even at low temperatures, you can split the sheets into half or a 1/4 for washing smaller amounts when it is needed. I am very happy with the product, also pricing is very affordable so I will be using their other products.

Great products and speedy delivery

Excellent customer service - even though the error was almost certainly mine. Love the products I've used and have a subscription for the most used ones.

When I had a query with opening the bottle catch, I received a prompt personal email from one of the owner who was very helpful. I haven't had a chance to try all the items in their introductory bundle but so far the loo rolls are indeed strong and absorbent though deceptively thin. The washing up liquid lathers well where you don't need a lot to wash well. The dishwasher tablet is as effective as the supermarket ones yet safe in the knowledge that it doesn't contain any nasty chemicals. Have not tried the loo cleaner and floor cleaner so cannot comment.

So pleased again with my order, and added the new loo rolls to my usual order and they are great! But i still think the star is the loo cleaner - better than anything else I have used from supermarkets. And no plastics! Thank you, keep up the good work.
