So easy to control my pension. I was paying a large % fee to an IFA who wasn’t doing a lot, so decided to go it alone as I work in financial services. The % fee has dropped considerably and controlling it is easy. Apart from this period of uncertainty when my fund has dropped over 5% I am confident over time this will be clawed back.

Their website for some reason walks you…
Their website for some reason walks you through on setup to change your pension contributions, even though everything was set up correctly. Then worse still, what you enter in the form can be ignored and after you click submit, it then changes the amount that you will contribute.
Trying to raise this with them is a nightmare, as they say they will "get back to you in 1 day".
I don't really have any trust they will get my pension right now.

I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with Penfold.
I opened an account in January and requested pension transfers, but cancelled these requests within a few days and also asked for my account to be closed. At the time, there were no funds in the account, so I reasonably believed everything had been stopped and closed correctly.
To my shock, I later discovered that my pension had still been transferred to Penfold despite my cancellation. After contacting them, my account was reactivated, only for me to find that some of my money now appears to be missing.
This is completely unacceptable. The lack of communication, failure to act on a cancellation request, and the unexplained discrepancy in my funds is deeply concerning. I have been left confused, stressed, and with little confidence in how my pension has been handled.
I expect full transparency and a proper investigation into what has happened to my money. Until this is resolved, I would strongly caution others before trusting Penfold with their pension.

Outstanding Customer Support / Service
Had a problem due to a 3rd party issue so I eventually called Penfold support seeking help. The first person I spoke to, Anelle, was absolutely brilliant.
This took some while to resolve but Anelle remained with me through the entire process; she was proactive, professional and honestly provided some of the best customer service I have ever received.
If Penfold invest my money as well as they provide customer support, I'll probably have a very happy retirement.
